Btw seems like everyone runs some kind of a condi build. I assume that power builds are not as popular as condi. Particularly in pvp.

No it needs to die in Hellfire it is the Trolliest build and you will only kill bass with it

What i know about it they are condi specced and they use d/p.
Using 5th pistols ability creates “aoe” effect and if you use heartseeker inside of it you will get stealth. If you manage to hs inside of it 3 times your stealth will stack.
They use traps which provides stealth too. They use heal ability which provides stealth as well. You dont wanna hit anyone! If you do, you will reveal yourself and you will get focused.
Yeah and they use caltrops as well which causes bleeding but it wont break your stealth.
But be careful with heartseeker while close to your opponent bcz it will hit him and you will loose stealth.
Dont know what traits they use but something around bleeding, condi, stealth stuff.
Armor and “enchants” – around conditions.

Hi guys. I am back in gw2 bcz couldn’t take how stupid wow (legion) become. My first character in gw2 was thief and no matter how broken is (isnt) this class i still love it.
I have been away from gw2 for longer period of time but i am having a blast now!
What i need from you guys if you can provide me some neat and very useful tricks for wvw and pve.
Something like: use this and that and this happens etc.

Yeah. Underwater combat is nicely done. But what i really dislike is that i just dont know how far i am from the npc. Just because you can be anywhere around is very difficult to determine correct distance. Personally, i DON’T want ANY underwater dungeon.
Uninstall. Seriously. There is no place on a team for a condi thief, yet there are players who show up (always solo Q because nobody wants to play with them) and play it like it’s a sensible thing to do. Other builds have better condi pressure and/or can spike targets faster. It is far inferior to D/P in teamplay and it takes way too long to 1v1 somebody. And in fact many builds (any ele, meta scrapper, Meditrapper and symbolic DH, condi necro, condi mesmer, any warrior, condi rev, probably others) directly counter condi thief and cannot be beaten by it. It is inferior, and you will not progress past silver unless your teammates carry you.
So what is your problem? The problem is not the class(es) but the people who always whine about everything bcz their ego is bigger than this planet!

Hi guys.
I tried to solo that part of my story line with my thief but kinda failed. Was taking way too long. First i had a gear with toughness vitality condi. Good tanking but low dps. Then i tried full berserk. Good dps but was down like immediately. Then i tried power, vitality, condi… best of all those 3 gear setups but still not enough. I used d/p for extra stealth. Yeah and i tried couple of traits combinations.
So can someone give me an advice regarding the gear, traits and weapons please?
P.s. Tried to get a grp for 2 hours. Nobody was willing to help.

I love thiefs and i absolutely love two daggers bit i am not as skilled as that guy at all.
I am all over the place. Just came back from legion wow (holy crap you cant imagine how boring that game become) and having a blast!
well try to stand near some wall so the camera moves close to your character, there is an engineer facing you with the flamethrower, an elementalist casting some fire aoe c**p and the npc is between you and those guys..then you will see what i mean by “i see s**t nothing” + the fps drops to frikkin 0. and regarding spells in graphic settings i already set everything to as low as possible
i was in couple of dungeons lately with my thief (i absolutely love that class) and what really pi**ed me off was a total ultra visual mess when other players used their spells.
i couldn’t see f*****g ANYTHING!!! nor my target!!!
the targeted npc represents a red circle on the ground. how the hell am i supposed to see that circle running across when everything i should see is visually BLOCKED by all the spell effects!! why should i see some fire or another aoe of some party members in pve enviroment!! i don’t need to! i only want to see my spells. not spells of other players!
