:P Not a big feature, so I don’t seee why they wouldn’t add it.
Create item, On click it asks you for a new name with an input field, you enter it, you hit okay. It checks whether the name already exists or not, if it does it returns an error, if not it confirms your change, when the user clicks accepts, your name will get changed in the DB.
Oh i was lucky.. Got the Mini Pet in just a few chests. But than i got greedy and lost alot of gold.
So don’t blame Anet, but your own stupidity next time you start gambling
Really? That’s what it is our own stupidity? How about the problem is anet playing with a loaded deck, that’s the problem.
Why are you so mad? The Chest gambling is just one of the things you can do in this event. Go get your ascended gear. If you REALLY want those skins, you can buy them for like 2g-30g on the trading post
Not bad. Candy Corn went up to 6.4 million.
I laughed. So much self entitlement in this genre. When people in Team Fortress 2 get kitten all for opening crates they mann up, and move on without kittening on the forums.
Nobody is forcing you to open those chests. If you want something rare, then expect it to be rare. If you want something that isn’t rare, then collect something else.
I’m seeing that the prices are slowly increasing for the halloween items again. I’m guessing it’s due to the fact that they won’t be available anymore after the 14th-15th. Anyone else notice this?
Having the precursor is really just 1/4 of the battle for the legendary. Even if they make it slightly easier to get, it would mean you’ll still have to put a lot of gold and time into getting that legendary of yours.
Exactly right.
Candy Corn is now almost 5.2 million. How high will it go? Any bets gentlemen?
I think I agree with Malediktus. The reason why no ones crafting them is because the costs of crafting them is way higher than just going out and buying them on the TP, which therefore means no one is using the supply. Of course there are other ways to consume candy cane, but they’re extremely small sinks in comparison. Not everyone is shoving candy canes in their faces before battle.
For the supply to go away, there needs to be either another sink, or the prices of the Halloween items need to increase. (Which I doubt they will)
The 4 halloween skins into the MF a guaranteed (Maybe not guaranteed like 30%) precursor recipe seems to be a good idea too. Would increase increase the demand for halloween items.

Haha. It’s now at 5 million. The second highest supplied are Cinnamon Sticks at 2.3 million
There needs to be some sort of sink for Candy Corn. Anyone else having trouble getting rid of their left over candy corn? Tried selling it, but nobody is buying. It’s currently the most supplied item on the trading post.
EDIT:
I feel like the exotics aren’t enough to get rid of all that candy corn.
Hey guys,
I’m currently looking for a Trading Guild, that focuses on making gold, through playing the trading post and/or farming materials. Looked through several pages, but there doesn’t seem to be many.
Would be much appreciated.
Loved it! I really enjoyed clocktower. Played that to death.
Also enjoyed collecting all the halloween items!
I miss “Mad King says..” though from guild wars 1. Hopefully that’s in the final act.
The combat log currently doesn’t show minion damage. I see a bunch of damage on screen, but not in the log. I see my own, but not the damage of minions. It’s important information to have as a MM, since a lot of the damage comes from minions.
Yes. Let’s nerf the weakest class in the game.
Pretty bummed out that MM isn’t working as intended. I sometimes get discriminated against for playing MM in dungeons, even though MM is supposed to be pve.
We don’t just have low DPS. We also have unreliable minions.
The great thing about Guild Wars 1 was that you could share your builds in-game with people and they could import them too. It was also possible for people to make builds and save them, and get back to them later.
What do you think?
Only thing that I found hard with randoms is Giganticus. After 5 hours each time. We can’t kill him.
It’s true ‘one of them’. LFM is a lot better approach, because people assume you have a group, so they’re willing to whisper you regarding it.
That actually sounds pretty awesome. Not going to lie.
Pretty low priority stuff, but I think there are a lot of Guild Wars 1 players who would like Rock, Paper Scissors implemented again. It was a good way to kill time while waiting for someone.
I’m sure there are also people who want to do dice rolls.
I think it’s pretty clear that the majority of people love this game. I’ve seen forums for other games that were completely different.
I really hope they’re currently working on it. I would be very excited to work on a project related to guild wars.
Hey everyone,
I would like to suggest a Web API for things like the trading post, items, character items and/or achievements. It would allow web developers outside of arena net to create content for guild wars 2, without arena net having to put resources and time on these, and allow them to concentrate on more important issues.
There are some companies that have released API’s for the community already. Valve Software is known for releasing their steam api and even a team fortress 2 API, which allowed their customers to use some really cool web services.

Here’s what it could mean to arena net
This is a great opportunity for Arena Net to build communities and support their game without having to put extra resources, money or time on these projects. The community will generate their own services, without having to spend any large amounts of money. If they really wanted to, they can always create their own apps/services anyway. Valve constantly gets ideas from the community this way, like the Team Fortress 2 item backpack viewer. They saw that this worked, and it was really popular, so they made their own.
Here’s what it could mean to you
There are endless possibilities for developers. You can view your backpack anywhere you like, link items to friends, brag your character, check your achievements, check the trading post while you’re doing something else, or check how your world is doing in PVP.
What do you guys think?
