I login and try to update. After about a second it fails and says try again, check your internet connection.

I finally got a reply from ANET, unfortunately I don’t think the person helping me read my ticket properly. I was told to reset my password which I did, but I am still getting the banned message when trying to log into the game.
In my ticket I mentioned I logged in, changed my email address, password, pretty much everything on my account. The response I got was to reset my password. Unfortunately my account is still banned and now waiting another 2 days. PLEASE read the whole support call before just sending a generic response.

I did not get an email either about my account details been changed but someone I got banned.
I just changed all my details now and I did receive the email and what appears to be a bit more of an enhanced security protocol. but yes, my account is still banned :|

I have no idea what else we can do. I locked an issue a couple of days ago. I got absolutely no reply, not even a confirmation of receipt. I have onlyplayed this game for 5 minutes. I logged on to check it was installed. The next time I logged on I was banned. I pre-ordered the game early to get the early access. My ticket number is: 120904-010760
Please would someone just acknowledge that they have actually received me support ticket. I think I have been quote patient but this is getting beyond ridiculous. I am looking at all the good publicity that GW2 is getting on the internet and don’t think it is warranted yet because of all the issues occurring.
Please would someone from ANET just respond to let me know you are aware of my ticket.

The message I receive is one relating to a permanent ban.
All the details of the indecent are in the above support tickets.
Please can someone at ANET help. I am so keen to play GW2 but this is getting really frustrating.
I can only assume my account was compromised. Was only only for about 5 minutes to check the game worked. Next time I logged on I was banned.

I feel your pain. I opened the game for probably 5 minutes. When I went on to play again I was banned. Been banned for at least 3 days now with absolutely no help from support.
i did that already. still waiting
had the game since early access and played all of 5 minutes. sigh.
Hi,
I pre-purchased my copy of guild wars a couple of months ago. I logged in a day or 2 after the early access for about a minute. I got really busy at work and was unable to play. I eventually found some time and logged in last night only to find my account has a permanent ban on it.
I have no idea why I got banned. I received no emails. I am not sure if my account got hacked. I have emailed in a support request but have not heard anything back yet. I can only assume you guys are busy as I see there are quite a few people suffering from hacked accounts. Is it possible for someone to let me know what has happened to my account please?
