so for about 1-2 weeks everytime I do ACp3 after you kill all the burrows and get turned into a ghost I lose all of my utily skills, including my heal and elite skill. I am a ranger lvl 80 I always use trolls unguent, sic em, quickening zephyr, signet of the hunt, rampage as one as my skills in that specific path. I am not sure what cause this bug but a couple of guildies have the same issue. I have tried unequipping my weapons, switching abilities, nothing works.

If you watched SOTG then you should have known that this was going to be a slow process they want to see how we do before doing anything else? Sounds to me like ur upset why not just play 1 of ur other 80’s until rangers are of ur liking. I personally love these changes sure its not OMG were EPIC now but its a step in the right direction I played my ranger b4 the patch and ill continue to play him…I suggest Linnes just needs to take a step back and enjoy the game

This is impressive how long did it take you to put all this together? Crystal Reid please make sure that everyone reads this if anything it should spark some ideas. I really hope the devs take a nice long look at this, hell even consider hiring/chatting with this person. Im not saying to do these exact encounters but this person is a genius and you could learn a lot from him/her. Looking forward to the changes anet has planned for the metas

Well I was having the same problem so I tried the MSCONFIG and it worked so I changed it back and restarted again and it still worked….so for me I think it was just needed to restart my machine(put to sleep 99% of the time). Either way ty

It’s something we’re absolutely aware of and want to address in the future, one of my main characters is an engineer so I feel ya on this one. My poor quaggan backpack is visible like 2% of the time I play as I kit swap, never mind my weapon skins.

We’re currently focusing our engineering (programmers, not guys with net guns) resources that could work on solutions to issues like kits/skins on major systems that address issues higher priority and wider reaching like lag in large battles, LFG, custom arenas, spectator mode and so on but this issue is absolutely on our radar.

As always, please post your ideas of what you’d like to see solution wise, we love to see the fun ideas y’all come up with too!

As much as I appreciate the honesty and truthfulness, you can’t sit there and tell me that they can’t put 1 single person on a project like this I mean its BIG when 1 class simply does not feel like grinding out a legendary because it will never be seen. I mean we already get the short end of the stick when it comes to being that class that nobody wants to run dungeons with ect…at least bring it up to the team that this is a BIG issue and the engineering community isn’t gonna put up with this for much longer…

I love everything else about gw2 just wish this would get fixed…I mean just make the bombs/grenades blowup with confetti or something

I hate to say it rangers but they have said this numerous times in the past hell even in the beta and nothing was done about the ranger problems. I hope they really do it this time, though I wouldn’t get ur hopes up guys.

Im not saying rangers need a dmg/survivability buff when it comes to the actual player but the pets need some added survivability or some kind of extra mitigation maybe something like reduced aoe dmg taken by 75% ect idk though im not a game dev. I hope they do something though so I can actually use a pet besides 2 bears for dungeons/wvw

Dungeons, WvW and some karma vendors.

There’s a handful of Karma vendors that sell pieces of Power/Toughness/Vitality armor. The only piece that they do not sell is a helmet. Sadly, each karma vendor that does sell that stuff is at a Temple in Orr, so you have to do those event chains and none of them sell more than 2 pieces of the gear, so you have to visit multiple vendors.

Also, each of the sets have a different Rune in them. They all share the same skin though. And the cost. 42,000 karma per piece.

ok thx for the info and thats fine i have about 100k karma and already own 2 almost 3 pieces of the AC gear for when i hit 80…glad i bought the helm first hehe i picked up knight gear and cleric accessories working great so far

Title pretty much says it all I am looking for a balanced pve build, for soloing and dungeons. I do not want a glass cannon build nor a build focused solely on surviving looking for something in the middle i’ve tried about 5-6 different builds since ive started playing and i haven’t quite found one i like. So please post your balanced PvE builds

p.s. i prefer melee, though I like rifle/bow as a weapon swap just not my main weapon

Just wanted to say that I absolutely loved the holiday event. Phase 1 was a bit slow and lackluster but phase 2 was spot on, was shocked you guys had a little zone for us. I expected the dungeon but was pretty fun, many laughs over my guildies and I falling and getting feared off the side.
