Rizla … u quite didnt get my point here. lets say mesmer got nerfed to a point where your auto attack is the only damage ability you have. i will still love it and play it … while u will still come here complaining about it cause some of the mesmers are brilliantly smart to figure out a new trait or play style or whatever that others who cant differentiate between the real one and the clone will fail and eventualy with only auto attacking they will die lol
so please stop i dont care if they nerf it or boost it … i just want it to be stable !!!!!!!
i really laugh when i hear the words overpowered and underpowered classes. its not a 1v1 game and there is a reason for tournament to be 5v5 and that is there will never be a balance in 1v1 unless u make all people play a one class with same build and utilities .
seriously, some classes are meant to be killer classes that will burst u down in no time if u dont react or use defensive utilities such as theives. mean while they can die pretty fast aswell if u lock them down and counter them. while others are meant to deal low damage but take lots of beating cause of their surviving utilities and traits such as guardians (block , selfhealing utilites , condition removal ..etc) . some can be traited for healing and boon applying for your team which is “Overpowered” lol as may some people say such as elementalists. but at the end of the day, if you can solo all the other team members you will still never win cause its a team work. and this “overpowered” class will get locked down pretty easy if your team knows how to handle it.
so please guys lets stop the none sense talking about NERFING and BOOSTING any class. its like when you get used to play something they take it away from you cause so many people either want a boost or a nerf and it got to a point that i really dont enjoy playing like this untill things get stable. i like my mesmer in his all conditions and i will figure a way to play it even if they change it to be the 4th clone of your clones or whatever.
so simply if you think something is overpowered go ahead and play it and i guarantee that i will see those people still posting and whining about something else.
sorry again but i had to say this since i have been reading the forum for quite some time and i got annoyed with some of the posts here and there.
oh god whats up with the might stacks seriously … if almost at least 2 proffesions i know are allowed to have 20+ stacks of might why is it always no for mesmers and yes for everyone else (e.g warrior 100b + frenzy there u go more than 20 in less than 2 seconds).
so now please lets stick to the subject and hope for a fix soon. and lets quit crying and whining TOO much nerf and boost is just ……. … simply if u think the class is overpowered go play it. end of discussion.
Same issue happened to me here. phantoms and clones are naked with no weapons or armor and stand there doing nothing in free tournament the whole match. it makes you feel like your team is playing 4 against 5 .
i know that balancing and fixing proffesions are not easy and thanks for all the hard work but i hopefuly wish this issue will get addressed soon enough other wise mesmer class will not be there in tournament games cause this is seriouse .
i have been following this post and others regarding the delay of phantoms. as a mesmer myself its realy annoying since 3/12 . and regarding balance reason i am sorry to say its none sense since we already have a casting time to summon our phantoms so we can get interrupted or what so ever while casting them. and they are actualy the main damage abilities this proffision is based on.
for example can i? react to theif steal or backstab or whatever skill they have cause i see it stand next to me doing nothing for 0.5 sec … or a necromancer fear cause i see it coming travelling time 0.5 sec. or elementalist knockdown or fire or whatever.
so please give other profissions main damage abilities a 0.5 sec daly to balance it.
i dont wanna go over being a glass cannon and mesmer damage is nothing compared to other glass canons burst classes like theives and warriors who can kill u in less than 3 seconds if u r not paying attention. can mesmers do that? to balance them.
i have enjoyed the mesmer so far up untill 3/12 when i saw my serker getting 1 shotted from Svinier or cheiftain before it even hits lol or getting killed from necros damage on ground before it land a hit … so whats the reason to play with phantoms when u cant even do damage with them, cause they have a delay.
so please i ask kindely to either look this matter and i know u will understand. or give us new skills that actualy can do damage without wasting its CD with 0 damage and the enemy wasnt that smart to think to react to it … its because its bugged.
