i bought the 1600 ryzen last night, felt good saving the 100 bucks and getting a cooler with it. i’ll just have to set character model setting to medium and see where it goes as with shadows and reflections off/low set. im probably still gonna play on windows 7
my graphics card is just a GTX 1060. my in game settings are on high with things like shadows and reflections low/off and i get around 30 fps during prime time. if i set character model and such to medium i get maybe an extra 5~10 fps. my cpu currently is AMD 6300. so kinda wanna see if i can make the leap from 6300 and bypass the 8300/8350 cpu’s and straight for ryzen. i did look at the 1600 and found it to be good. i do NOT have windows 10 and still on 7 currently.
think 1600 will be better ? What if I set character model to medium settings

im thinking of a ryzen 1700 and wanna know if this will be a good choice and jump from a AMD 6300. i noticed a video and seemed fine but was explained was because of “recording” so i am curious since i “wont” be doing any recordings of any sorts. should the FPS make a difference and be higher even with say “character model” and such on highest/max setting still be good ? would like some thoughts on this before dropping $330.00 bucks. fyi i dont plan on i5/7’s either. any thoughts of WvW would be good too of fps to anyone with a 1700.
having it on guard and dont seem to be any faster with swiftness on
i get the same “send report to anet” since Hot and get them 3 times a day. i was in wvw for not even 15 minutes and got my first “send report to anet” of the night
i just dont wanna keep having to close client and log back in, in order to fix it, i unrep and re-rep the guild even with online status (not invisible anymore) and i still get the “you are not in a guild” seems annoying to me. just hate losing my spot in SW to let guildies know i have a good map is all. lol
when i set myself to offline and set back to online and try typing in guild chat. it tell me “you are not in a guild” when i clearly am representing the guild and have my status to online, it seems the only way to fix this is by closing the client and re-log. is this a bug or is everyone experiencing this ?
