I really like the new Episode, BUT the leather farm is a bad joke in my opinion. As soon as the map is dead doing the map exploration will be annoying. When Anet said something of a group farm for leather I expected more than “Run up and down a cliff with 50 ppl spamming 1”

Body blocking happens in every game type it should be removed imo from all game types if they decide to remove from 1, is it an exploit ? No since its using in game mechanics that have been a big part of the game since launch.

But this tactic heavily “uses” the minion change from a while back, causing them to ignore 99% of AoE damage. And ignoring a whole raid mechanic with a single Slotskill of one class is a bit too easy, wouldn’t you agree (the fight is already extremely easy as it is without this…well, strategy)?

And bodyblocking was never such a thing imo, the only encounter I’d instantly mention is in the Uncategorized Fractal with Old Tom (and the Asura if your team is unable to use absorbs) and Old Tom was bodyblocked with an Earth Elemental before the Minion Damage Patch.

As many of you might have noticed numerous raidteams bodyblock the projectiles fired by the purple beam in the Xera fight (most commonly used is probably Flesh Wurm).
This way you dont have to clear bloodstoneshards and can stay in the free area the whole time.

I’d like to discuss this here with you guys since I believe this to be an oversight.
I saw a NA team selling Xera to two buyers using this very method which makes the bossfight nearly trivial. Also there is a 6-man-kill posted on reddit using this method.

So what’s your take on this?

I’d suggest the projectiles to be piercing and adjusting the damage accordingly to compensate for this OR just increase the radius of the bloodstoneshards to overlap in the center of the arena (the latter probably being easier to implement and better in terms of balancing the damage caused by the beam).

Quick workaround: Enter WvW and exit it again, this will save your current position.

After 23/2/2016 patch the position of my characters isn’t saved when i log them out. When i relog on the character it will be at the position where they entered the map.
Quite annoying…

Character Stops moving randomly

Yes, i experienced the same problem. Sometimes I just stop moving while auto-running, but most of the time I have this problem after using movement-skills like “Ride the Lightning” or “Leap of Faith”. I noticed this the first time on 26th of August 2015.

I participated in this successful attempt as well and would really appreciate to get the achievement as we invested a lot of time and organization on this.
