I really don’t think you would. Going by reports on the forums from the time of that event, people were locked in that mind-numbingly frustrating battle for hours before it finally ended. Those that were fortunate enough to hold onto their connection for long enough without getting kicked and not getting insta-killed by barrel-rolls were eventually rewarded for a long hard effort.
Having said that, there were reports of exploits going on as well. Say one person finished one event, they’d jump servers and ‘help finish’ the event in that server. Back the guesting wasn’t implemented yet either. Double-dipping much? This exploit caused a huge amount of rage on the forums and those who were around for that event and wished they could do it won’t easily forget how badly they were left out.
It seems Anet may have learned from those mistakes, apparently they’re not having anymore one-time-only events (ie. US timezone / highest concurrency till the server breaks timezone) and are making the events more far-reaching and global. Go figure.

The vista just outside of the dungeon entrance to Caudecus’ Manor. It’s so stupid that you just walk right up to it.
On every alt I play I find myself jumping along the flat ground till I get there, that way I know I’ve put in effort to get to it. There’s no challenge to it at all.

The young karka and the skelk in particular drop T6 blood.
However, thanks to the 200% MF buff from the negotiator, as usual I’m getting nothing but junk (the occasional shells) from normal karka and crazed alike.
I haven’t managed to hit any type of DR as yet, unlike the poster above me (translation, The Witch’s Hammer).
I decided to go with the coin buff as I can do more with real in-game currency than MF (hopes and dreams).

More than anything people want confirmation that their issues and concerns are at least being looked at and considered.

Scipio’s posts and thoughts on this are on the mark as well.
A simple acknowledgement that something is, say, broken and needs fixing, and if it’ll be included in the next patch, would do most people just fine, from what I can gather.
Also Gaile, can we please get the forum’s Search function fixed? It’s been broken for nearly 2 years. I know there’s been heaps of topics on this, but the sad irony is that they get lost in the forums and never acted upon.
