Always out-manned due to transfers make WvW players do pve. And pve is ugh.
Breakout events.
No more orb fun. No consumables, No siege in puzzles fun.
RTL nerf forces us to use PVT gear to roam.
White swords change makes breakouts and out-manned 100x worse.
If you pay to transfer to the full queue maps you will probably enjoy the game. The culling will probably be horrendous, though. There’s a small portion of players that like roaming with 5-10 guildies and picking off unorganized, talentless players in the mid-tiers. That is the only real enjoyment you can get now. Oh, and PVE. That’s all anyone is doing every time we are in the wrong tier, which is every other week.
This is all that needed to be changed: Wall jumping, orb hacking, culling.
We don’t get what we want. We get a bunch of stuff we don’t want that clearly makes it worse, yet more competitive for t1 and t2. Awesome. No. Not at all.
What desperately needs to be changed is allowing more players from the other teams to out-number a team’s home borderlands. If my team has a queue, and the other team has 60 players in just one side of the map, while my team clearly only has 30 players maximum on the entire map, what the hell is up with the queues? Maybe it’s just the non-team players on my server that are wandering around aimlessly, or maybe Maguuma is too full of trolls to care about WvW anymore. We do not belong in T3 and cannot do anything in it. If you like large scale pvp (as in sPVP is boring as hell), then you won’t get it here.
This angry post will probably be deleted despite being completely accurate, and agreed with by the masses. So make sure to save it, and laminate it on a t-shirt that you wear to the next GW2 convention.
I couldn’t leave either. I joined wvw and hit f12 to reload myself where I went in from.
Also I won a match and was looking at the matchup scoreboard and forgot about the chest. I go to open it and the match restarts before I got whatever was inside.
This truly is crap.
Edit. And now I notice I didn’t get the achievement for winning either. lmao

You’re just going to be all rude about it without explaining why?
Having a ton of hp, toughness, and regen lets me run into a zerg first, aoe everyone, and get back out again most times. If I get downed, I get rallied from all the people I just aoe’d. You can solo a camp and defenders in it with this gear. If there’s better runes, so be it, but dolyak isn’t “horrendous”.
I expected a better attitude from someone in a decent guild that put out entertaining videos.
I logged in this morning and filmed an hour an a half of EB ownage. Including TC taking mendons, capping it, and a guildy (Whoa) and myself followed in behind them after it capped. We wiped them, and took it from them after the buff was down. Good times. I also had full bags. I had 1 death in the span of 2 hours, and my party consisted of 2 level 8 players, a level 11, and an 80. No voice comms were used. Both TC and DB were farmed. Please tell me more about how bad Maguuma is.
Probably not a new idea, but why don’t you just put a red circle on the end portal placement if it’s out of range of starting position? Then green if it’s safe.
I don’t have a mesmer (yet), and think this would be more helpful than staring at your minimap, or counting X(seconds).

I just use 1234 as my attunement swaps, and qwert + shift #s for right side junk.
- You’ve attempted to RTL/Updraft a thief off a ledge, only to have him vanish before your RTL hit.
- You, for some ungodly reason, updrafted the completely opposite direction you’re facing.
- You wait until your almost dead to hit vapor form to waste as much time as possible.
- You’ve been chased for an excess of 10 mins.
- You used staff on oil and cannons, then ran forever to switch back to daggers, only to get back in time to watch the tower cap, receiving no credit or loot.
- You’ve 1 shot a warrior with magnetic aura vs his own kill shot.
- You’ve used armor of earth and mist form trying to get uninterrupted stomps, only to get owned by someone else coming to their aid while you’re out of cds.
- You’ve RTL’d into a tiny object in front of you, and didn’t move.
- You’ve RTL’d while immobilized, and didn’t move.
- You RTL’d, armor of earthed, mistformed, and lightning flashed to get out of roots, and none of those worked.
- You got stuck in a WIDE VARIETY of objects because of lightning flash exclusively.
Can you put this outfit back in the gem store? I thought for sure it’d be available with latest patch. Mittens!
Only a WvW will stay logged-in doing nothing in-game while waiting forever for WvW to come back up.

Yeah. Going invis and porting three times while downed, with clones that accept a finisher is ridiculous.
The elemental downed abilities are worthless. You have to kill someone not attacking you, or the person you down will just finish you off from their own downed state. Kill someone at 1%, dodge back twice, while switching to water to heal, is like your best bet for not being downed again.

The walls of text are real. If only all that effort was put into playing the game properly.
Mag used to be able to hold keeps longer than anyone we fought. Now, no one even refreshes siege. Who wants to defend when you can follow 30-40 green dots and get an orange bag, karma, etc. These guys we try to coax out of L.A. to get our numbers up don’t put in any effort.
I would say weapon swap, but they’d probably remove attunement swap procing swap sigils in its place. Though it’d still be better to have weapon swap.
And old RTL cd. With conditions where they are, and stackable immobilize, we need to have our break-outs. Especially if we’re going to stop using evasive arcana after patch.
Scribe is too horrible to get those tactivators running.
Auras don’t work at all since the last patch.
Please change “World vs World” to “Synthesizers and Guild Commendations”.
The fact that you can cripple and immob a tornado is really hilarious.
Does EB have a breakout, too? I’m pretty sure we all have raged about the setup at first, but it’s manageable now. Could use some tweaking. Like maybe, don’t let it constantly respawn in 2 mins. Don’t let it happen at the start of a match when the surrounding places aren’t even started on upgrades. West Keep is a pain to hold, and now it’s like food for whoever spawns SW.
Caine must be trolling, because he’s certainly being obnoxious.
Get rid of repairs in wpvp. Especially when it’s 100 vs 1 every 5s.

For Pete’s sake, don’t change dragon tooth. I know they’ll ruin it if they try. (ie. vs Siege.)
My biggest peeve is the switching of targets with channeled auto-casts in air and earth. You have to have air 2 or 3 up to switch targets most of the time, or it will take 3s+ to change target. I’ve stated this several times elsewhere.
The ramp-up in Air 1 is also tedium. Sure, it’s cool to hit something 8 times (or whatever) like a ranger, but the minim hit is so far away in damage from the final hit. I specifically have a zerkers set for Air 1 S/D, (and Staff), and would enjoy faster animations on both weapons, with less hits in S/D, but a scale up from lowest hit. I don’t want to lose big crits for any reason. It’s expensive to make a set that bursts hard. And you usually have to trade all of your survivability to do it. You are banking on rallying to keep your full uptime from mass-aoe crits.
I know full well that they scaled down the number of targets in beam tech with Air 1 with the last patch, as I can barely hit 2 things close together now.
You get 10 trait points at level 20, right? I would get 10 arcana first so you have faster attunement cooldowns, and trait for windborne dagger for increased movement speed, as you should be leveling with dual daggers. Air autoattack is a cleave that does a lot of damage.
Then start spec’ing into at least 5 water so you can get passive regen whenever you switch to water to heal. Run signet of restoration (heal) so you can stay in a group of mobs as long as possible. You won’t have a cleanse until you take cleansing fire utility, or etheral renewal healing trait. At 20 in water you can take a cleanse every time you attune to water. So try to unlock both heals. Use your auras in air and water when you need them.
Most of your damage will be spamming air 1. Ride the lightning, updraft in air, and burning speed in fire will all propel you forward, and apply sprint to keep you moving along smoothly.
Ring of fire, and burning speed will be your only combo fields. Switch to earth after and earthquake and/or churning earth on top of that to gain might.
For staff, fire 2 is your main source of damage. You can stand on top of it when mobs run toward you. Instead of running away, you will just keep them in the fire while you auto them. Earth 2, then fire 2 will give you might. Earth 2 has a delayed blast on it, so you can use it to blast might in fire, sprint in air’s static field, and regen in water’s healing rain.
Opening with meteor shower, static field, frozen ground, and unsteady ground will demolish any trash in front of you without it ever reaching you if you start at max range (1200)
The cloak and dagger ability is overpowered because it allows stealth off of non-living objects. A thief can sit inside a keep/tower forever, abusing the culling system that is already in place.
Re-design the ability to only proc off of living objects. Not destructables like walls, doors, and siege. I believe this will help reduce some of the culling being exploited by some thieves.

Most obnoxious: Thief (you could play with a blindfold on)
2nd: Warrior (doesn’t take skill)
3rd: Trap ranger (takes skill)
Debatable: Mesmer (due to stealth, double blink, and alacrity). PU condi needs nerf for other reasons than movement. It’s probably the most successful solo roamer, but it takes somewhat skill to be unkillable.
TL;DR: Nerf thief.
