Can we please get some more short hairstyles for female norn? Even just copying the ones from the human would be awesome because I like those quite a bit. Would really appreciate it
In the first Guild Wars, target nearest enemy meant that you targeted the enemy that was nearest to you. With GW2, targets the closest target-able object in an arrow straight line directly in front of you. In hectic combat situations, or any time that there are things like weapon racks around, this makes combat needlessly cumbersome and clunky. Maybe we could get an option for our nearest target selection, between GW1 style, and GW2 style, because I’m sure there are folks out there who enjoy both.
As a fellow victim of being Red/Green colorblind?
I’m hoping for the same changes as well.
Still thinks about the Elementary School’s Color Tests, naming states via Color-coded maps, and wondering how in the world people could so easily tell the difference between Blue and Purple.
All they are is that usually purple is slightly darker then blue … except when its not.
Along with people mentioning these imaginary vivid red flowers on a leafy bush.
Why do people complicate the world with imaginary things like that?

Hi I was just wondering if there was something you guys could do to make the game more accommodating to people with color blindness.
1. I know with gear it will say fine, masterwork and such for it’s rarity but when it comes to other things like materials and trophies it just shows a color not what rarity it is. Something simple like an option to turn on for colorblindness that will put in words for what the rarity of the item is, would be awesome.
2. Also for the first time today a friend told me that there are red circles for AOE damage when an enemy attacks, because I’m red/green color blind, I’ve never seen it before.
3. When I use a skill attack that has a marker showing where it’s field of effectiveness is it tends to blend into the ground and I can’t tell where I’m placing a skill at.
4. An option to pop out map markers more so I can see where things are when finding points of interest and vista’s. The colors of the things on the map sometimes are too close to the background colors that I can’t see them.
I’m not trying to criticize your game, it’s very well made and I love it. These are just some ideas that would help me and others that have various forms of color blindness. Thank you very much for taking your time to read over this.

Why don’t dungeons work similarly to sPvP matches? People can just go up to an NPC near the dungeon and get matched up with other players from all servers. There could be filters for the certain difficulty and path the players want and get matched up with other players that are looking for the same thing.

The building itself is pretty run down, I see ranger pets running around that I have tamed on my Norn Ranger, there are a few ghosts I cant speak with and if I run all the way to the back where the Eye is (where all the statues & stuff are in GW) There’s a ghost I speak with to get my HOM skins.
This is what I see when I go to my HOM in GW2. I hope the info helps.
My GW2 pve critique ( These are my views and people will disagree and thats fine)
pros:
+world is vast and well polished ( best MMO world ever)
+leveling was fun ( It was the best leveling experience I have ever had, little more story would have bee nice hwoever)
+ascetics ( best looking by a long shot)
+stream line questing ( no running to npc)
+personal story (idea not always the execution, was better to have tho)
+crafting system
+way points
+map exploration rewarding and that there are actual points to discover
cons:
Items drops
-genral easiness
-tokens( take the Oh I killed a boss wonder what I get for it feel out of it)
-no stand out item
-lack of exotic items exoticness
-green blues too abundant you made that tier into vender trash (by doing so lost tons of progression)
-lack of fun rare item drops (bosses could have super drops like boss only mini’s, flavor items, skins, boss only dyes
-Grindfest known as legendaries (nothing legendary about them but putting time into them)
-gathering nodes that everyone can gather(sounds great but leads to everyone having everything so nothing is worth much, even rare nodes are not that special)
LACK OF EPICNESS
-zhitan was an easy/boring kill..(make a small story encounter where you fight him make it the balls hard last fight to actually kill him in a hard mode)
-dungeons seem like random levels in a game not epic dungeons where I fight the greatest forces of evil in the game (bad correlation between the dungeon and the story or who the hell im fighting and why)
-No hard challenge that I can feel accomplished about beating its just face roll this face roll that get reward everyone has ( needs actual hard encounters/raids that give rewards to show I did something exceptional)
-lack of large party events ( instanced the zergs are not fun)
-lack of Challenge and being rewarded for such
Guilds:
-They don’t really feel useful, nothing requires or is helped by having one other than the boosts you get and the chat( i have a great guild wish they could be of more help)
-I would like to see a guild hall put in place an instance only assessable by guild members that grows with the guild from a plot of land to a small castle with tons of cool stuff( I wrote a post on it if you’d like to see my idea’s)
Random
-lack of skills (1 auto attack 4 weapon skills and 4 long cd skills 1 heal is not really enough for me I’d like to see more useable skills and some variety, lots of times im only hitting 3 keys in pve. I would like 3-4 more skills just to give combat more variety)
-personal story gets boring and some levels are just long and silly ( some are really good)
-underwater combat feels underwhelming
-Lack of solid end game ( feel quite bored at level cap)
Dungeon and thier Mechanics
-too easy ( even the hard modes the hardest things in game are easily beaten)
-too similar ( the dungeons really lack interesting mechanics and really bad about using envirment into the boss fights)
-Bad mechanics/too few ( most are kill adds, avoid aoe, kite a little more imagination would be nice ) NOTE: this is worse in explorable story modes actually do pretty well
-Boss rooms ( an arena for an epic fight where good environmental and large arena mechanics can be used)
-zerg (make a large boss room/close doors until wipe or win)
-nothing fun to work at and be rewarded for(no challenging raid type encounters where you need a proficient group working together)
Conculsion
MMO’s are about having FUN and doing challenges whether by self or a group and being rewarded to both make you stand out and progress your character.
There is fun and quite a bit in this game but as far as progression and a sense of uniqueness about your hero it is just not there. The game (pve) is TOO EASY which leads to everyone being TOO SIMILAR. I worry about the longevity of the game as it is fun for a while a pretty long while but once the initial leveling experience wears off there is just no progression or uniqueness to work for.
That being said it is a great game and hopefully will add some things to make the game better.
