I bought 10 keys about two hours ago and i still haven’t received them, is it normal that it takes this long or am I just missing something? :/
Oh no, you should have gotten you keys right away — usually within a few minutes. Is your in-game mailbox empty? There is a limit of 10 mails that sport the “envelope” icon, so you may need to delete a few to get your delivery.
If you truly have not received the transmittal mail after you’ve allowed a few hours (just in case the store is super busy), then I encourage you to contact Support by filing a ticket through the “Ask a Question” tab on that linked page. They will be able to assist you.
Oh i had reached my mail limit, thanks for the quick help!
Try cleaning out your in game mail. Too many mails is usually the problem.
Well, I don’t want to block people completely, because occasionally I need to get a PM. For instance, you’ve both seen someone post “I think I know about an exploit” and I give them an email address or tell them to PM me. I do not want to start collecting exploit reports, but sometimes — is that’s the only way we’re going to hear about it — it’s good to have a PM box.
Also, sometimes I need a bit more info about a situation (say one in which a ticket has not been submitted) and I ask for that via PM for privacy reasons.
Plus, I don’t want to be out of touch, I just want people to post where they will be helped as quickly as possible and where their post and the solution/answer may help others.
I have received quite a number of PMs, many from people who haven’t even submitted a ticket. Please read the first post and help us help you!
Let’s be clear. I love my job, completely adore being able to help people and serve as that liaison-y person between players and the company for support-related issues! It’s mainly just a problem with people — honestly, you’re right AP — submitting a ticket and then messaging me to try to expedite it or, having gotten a couple of thorough reviews, pinging me via PM to ask for another review or to argue with the decision.
As a company, we are open to another review. We’re even open to defending a decision, of making it clear why something must be as it was told in the ticket. Heck, you’ve probably all seen us reverse a decision due to a forum discussion! It’s part of being responsive, and that’s what we’re all about.
But those discussions should happen on the forums, not via PM, so that others can benefit from what we learn about one player’s situation. So much can be gained with an open discussion, and while PMs are great for some things (I’ve gotten some PMs I truly treasure) the best place for situation discussions is the forums. (Exception: telling me about an exploit or exploitable bug, which naturally cannot /should not happen in a public space.)
Thanks for understanding! <3
Gaile deserves a bonus for putting up with this. I’ll e-mail Colin with the suggestion to double her pay.
gasp Don’t you dare! Colin doesn’t need one more email, that’s for sure! (But thanks for the sweet idea!
)
Gaile deserves a bonus for putting up with this. I’ll e-mail Colin with the suggestion to double her pay.
It’s sad to open your Guild Wars 2 Forum account and see more than 1,430 private messages. And it’s doubly sad to know that in order to focus on the forums as a whole — with the related benefits that help all players — answering those PMs is simply impossible.
Please do not send a PM to:
The forums are a wonderful place, and we can, will, and do respond to as many posts as possible on pretty much a daily basis. PMing isn’t the right way to get help. If you have an account issue, submit a ticket. (Click “Support” at the top of these page, and then “Submit a request” to get started on a ticket.)
If you want to follow up on an existing ticket, you must give the team time to analyze the issue and response. If you still need help after three days, post in the Tickets for Review Thread.
If I ask for you to PM me with information that is not safe to post on a forum (never your password, but perhaps the user name or other info that helps me identify the account) I will look for your response. But these situations are very rare.
Lastly, everyone appreciates a friendly note or a warm greeting. But please keep forum business on the forums, so that everyone benefits from the information provided.
Thanks for understanding!

So I just got my 5k achievement chest, used the laurels and gold to buy a character slot, and used the experience scroll to make a level 20 in the tutorial.
She is not sidekicked, and kills everything in one shot.
Anet said this type of thing was not supposed to be a part of the game. You are not supposed to go into an area and one-shot enemies like they are ambient creatures, yet here I am doing so lol.
Proof is in the picture, and ingame(I’m on SoS if you wanna see lol)
As title says, The exit icon/widget on the right side of our screen is blocked by loot. Rather inconvenient after you have picked up large quantities of loot and you want to leave the instance but have to wait 2 minutes before the loot pick history is finished.
#firstworldproblems.
This will be fixed in our next regular release.
This hint is simply can’t be scored. I’ve told my friends to spam me with letter. I had 10 letters, started to delete em and got like 6-7 more. And still hint isn’t achieved.
82\83 hints in achievment interface is irritating.
This is a tricky one. You actually need to have 10 unread mail, so while you get your friends to spam you, let your mailbox fill up to 10 before opening it.
Oh, thanks, I’d never guess
As a player I want to play with my friends who is playing on different servers. This is something you can do in this game because of the overflow servers, so why not add a command that transfers you to one, and my friends can right click my image in the party window to join the overflow server where I am located.
This only appeared after the patch. An invisible stomach line has appeared with my armor set, just like the winged armor invisible stomach line.
Armor:
Assassin’s Coat
Vigil Leggings
Noble Mask
Noble Gloves
Duelist Pauldrons
Rawhide Boots
All are transmuted.
What if something happens in real life so you have to go afk immediately, other members can’t kick you, and if they report you, you are getting banned? Doesn’t sound fair in my opinion.
did you report him? Because we do ban for that type of behavior.
We’re always working on ways to keep people from trolling and exploiting others. We recently made it so that the party leader can’t leave the group and kick everyone out without his instance being destroyed, so this is just the latest iteration in people trying to abuse other people. I will alert our programmers to this if they are already not aware.
Is there some way to fix weapon preview to have your character take on an attack stance as daggers, pistols, horns always get mostly lost in a Ranger’s Coat or a casters dress. We really shouldn’t have to get naked to preview weapons.
I have finished filling out all the previews for all the armour skins for all types and all races, male and female.
Enjoy.
http://www.gw2spidy.com/ – watch for market fluxes, but watch out the crafting tab is sadly not updating that fast so unless you have satchel/box/feast recipies, its not really worth watching that much (with constant live maket you make 50~ copper pre post unless you go for the really expensive stuff that ususually costs more to post than the profit you get).
This weekend, five new things come to GW2. I made this post to give the info all in one place…
1. Three one-time events (finished).
2. The new PvE dungeon (permanent).
3. The new PvE map (permanent).
4. Weekend Quests (continuously until monday noon).
5. The new PvP map (permanent).
.
.
1. Three one-time events (finished).
- There were 3 seperate one-time events, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday noon.
- Everyone was scaled to level 80 for these.
- The first two events started in Lion’s Arch, the third in Sunset Cove.
- In the first, we had to repel the Karka attack on Lion’s Arch.
- In the second, we had to repel the last few Karka’s in Lion’s Arch and then go to Sunset Cove to establish a foothold there.
- In the third, we killed the big, mean Karka!
- The timing of the events were chosen because this were the times that there were the most people online together.
.
.
2. The new PvE dungeon (permanent).
- The new PvE dungeon called Fractals of the Mist is for level 80 characters. But during the weekend, all players will be bumped to level 80.
- This dungeon opened on Friday 11/16 at 12:30 (but was bugged for some, fixed at 13:30).
- You can go there by going into the new Asuran Portal near the Island Portage Waypoint in Lion’s Arch, by the new POI Consortium’s Gift Shop.
.
- There are 9 different ‘paths’ or ‘fractals’ in this dungeon.
- You can’t choice what fractal you do, but you can leave a fractal when you are stuck on it and get another one.
- After you did a fractal, you are send to a second and then a third fractal. These three fractals are always different fractals (afaik).
- After you did the third fractal, your ‘rank’ goes up to rank 2.
- You are sent again to a fractal (so the forth in total), a fifth fractal and a sixth. These fractals are rank 2.
- The fractals on this second set can be the same as the ones on your first set.
.
- After you finished any fractal, you get a chest that contains items and 5 Fractal Relics.
- You can turn these relics in for stuff, at the NPC inside the dungeon.
.
- When you are finished with the four fractals at rank 2, you are now rank 3!
- When you then restart the dungeon with the same group, you can pick what rank you want to do it: rank 1, 2 or 3.
- If you make another group and restart, you can set it to the rank you want, but the rank can never be a higher rank than the person with the lowest rank in the group has obtained.
So if you have a group of players that have rank 3, 3, 3, 2 and 4, you can set the rank at either 1 or 2 (but not to rank 3 or 4, because one player has only rank 2).
.
- After you did six fractals (three at rank 1 and three at level 2), you get a seventh ‘bonus’ fractal.
- This bonus fractal is the same type as the other fractals, with the same chest at the end, but you get an extra reward too!
- Note that these fractals are NOT easy for casual players, even ast rank 1, because you need alot of group coördination. Several bosses have odd mechanisms, there is sometimes tricky jumping, some gates that open with pressure plates and so on.
.
.
3. The new PvE map (permanent).
- The new PvE map called Southsun Cove is for level 80 characters, but during the weekend lower levels will be bumped to level 80 when they go here.
- You can go there by talking to a new NPC near the Sanctum Harbor Waypoint in Lion’s Arch, by the new POI Macha’s Landing.
- Once you’ve been there, you can waypoint to it, like with all other maps.
.
.
4. Weekend Chain Event (Finished).
- The first part of the chain started Friday noon and was available until Sunday noon.
- The second part started Saturday noon.
- Both parts started in Lion’s Arch at Inspector Kiel.
.
.
5. The new PvP map (permanent).
- This map opened on Thursday 11/15.
- Not much else to say, really! It’s a PvP map. A map. To PvP on!
.
.
Good luck and remember to have fun along the way!!!

Hello everyone.
Milamber, could you please send a report to Customer Support (preferably) or to exploits@arena.net and provide an specific description of this? I will just pass on the info to the team in any case but you should also use the other channels. They are definitely more helpful in this respect than the forums.
Thanks!
All one-handed weapons (Daggers, Guns, Swords) are inside my character’s thighs. For physique, I have chosen the second option on the first row, which is a bit wider than the standard selection.
My character is human, the armor is medium and is called ‘duelist’.
Thank you for reading

Sorry, we don’t have any information to share right now about this feature. We do understand it will be super-popular, so I’m sure the dev team has it on their to-do list.
1) You know the exploit.
2) ArenaNet does not know the exploit, according to your first post.
3) You’re doing it wrong.
Don’t post on forums about exploits you KNOW unless you have already submitted a bug report about it.
I have had this happen to me before on Khylo (not resetting to my spawn) and I managed to cap two points as well. However, as far as I could tell, it was a completely random thing that I can’t reproduce.
Carry on.
I don’t understand how this is not in the game, but I couldn’t find out how to do it, so here it goes:
Why can I see “fallen players” on my minimap, but can’t I communicate with them to tell them that I’m on my way to help them. Seeing players who need help on your minimap is such a wonderful feature, it really promotes helping people out. But you can never tell if someone’s coming to help you, so most of the time, you just use a waypoint.
For example, I saw a defeated player on my map, he was at a skill challenge, the closest waypoint being pretty far away. I decided to go help him since he wasn’t that far away from me, but when I was halfway there this person was already gone.
I would like it if we were able to click on the little icon that appears on our map to let people know that someone’s coming to help them. Obviously, it’s still for them to decide if they want to wait for that person to show up or if they just want to use a waypoint. In this example, I could have revived the person, we could have done the skill challenge together and life would have been perfect.
So… just a click on the icon in your minimap and text appears in this player’s screen: “Hang in there [playername] is on their way to help you!” or whatever. (This way they can also whisper this person if they do not wish to be helped)
As a guild leader, it is obviously important for me to keep an active community. Having people in the guild who never log in doesn’t help that. Not knowing who those people are makes it even worse.
I propose/suggest adding a column (or perhaps a hover tooltip) in the guild roster that displays how long it has been since each member logged on…and, if possible, also show when they last represented.
