Guild Wars 2

Happening to me now as of yesterday, replaced ram due to memtest showing many error’s but still, when i click “play” on my character it pretty much instantly crashes, really frustrated with this. I’m in lions arch, i seem to not have problems in HoTM, tested all my equipment, no errors.

Fused weapon ticket after 20 keys. Love it

Of course they nerfed the drop rate, so they can make more money’s from the ones on the gem store =]

I’m not sure you realize it, OP, but there are other ways to earn XP in this game besides crafting. lol

He could be power leveling or testing out how crafting is for leveling and how fast he can do it. He’s only asking if there is anything you can do wrong while crafting all 8 skills which might not make you level 80.

And answering the actual question, i think you must have done something wrong, i have crafted 8 before and give or take abit of xp depending on what you level you will get 80, maybe 79.5 but not 75, you must have done something wrong.

Me and a party running around in the super adventure box (cut down footage), go try it out, it starts in rata sum, it’s so fun.

Decided to use ruminant tonics in WvW and run into some small zergs..

We can’t be the hero, we the Marshall has to be someone who is not apart of an order so they all feel equal and doesn’t cause fight’s within the pact.

But i do agree with everyone, i hate this guy, the voice acting, the stupid comment’s, and just the way he is!

1] It’s for the skin and they look awesome (in the eye’s of most)

2] It work’s towards an achievement so that partly explains the price

3] Even if they were exotic, it would have a certain set of stats which would end up getting transmuted anyway.

Stop making these threads now, there is clearly not much of an argument to make them exotic

Yes for solo roaming or in a small group to get some serious damage rolling out.

Not really for big zergs, hammer is what you should be using there.

Gandara love to give Riverside some hope of winning over the weekend, then dominate them during the week. I think the same happened the week before.

No it doesn’t anyone can transfer to vizunah square and be in the top tier it’s not like anyone has to do anything apart from transfer to get to tier 1. It’s mainly based on server population. The server who wins a each tier are the good ones. Tier 1 isn’t the be all and end all

Defiantly noticed a big performance boost in WvW, and it does feel abit smoother in general.

I actually agree, and was thinking the same thing today.

They just seem to be really common now, when i first saw them i was like holy…
that’s nice, but now the awesomeness has worn out abit for me, because of the sheer amount of people that somehow found all the time to create one, or just get the gold to buy one straight from the trading post.

Wish there was some dark knight style lore where someone had to escape from the bottom of a jumping puzzle and had to scale it to escape at the top or something

So..

I see this Trahearne guy isn’t very popular throughout the forums.

But what I really hate is that he’s meant to be seen as a leader and he has a generic comment which always says “This won’t end well”, I thought he was meant to be seen as a leader, but him always saying “This won’t end well” against a couple of spiders isn’t showing great leadership.

I think it would make a lot more sense if our own character was the leader not his petty marshal, it’s a hard job, obviously, but we make all the decisions anyway, making us basically the leader anyway.

I understand he is respected throughout the order’s but seriously, why does this boring, uninspiring, vegetable (i’m a sylvari too don’t take it to heart :P) who always says “this won’t end well” and has pitiful fighting talent (his only slight power is from summoning creatures and Caladbolg which is barely noticeable while fighting), can barely help throughout the story, was chosen purely because of his notoriety between orders have to be the leader of the pact, instead of everyone actually taking some time to choose a decent leader with some slight credentials. (maybe our own character??)

Like is it a rotation, or possibly the lowest ranked server has a particular borderland?.

Just wondering as i need a few points in 1 particular borderland for world completion.

Also what time does WvW reset exactly?

maybe the magic will start again.

This, first week of release leveled a warrior to 80, got bored after another week.

Came back recently, leveled a ranger, look my time, explored the world, did crafting, worked towards an awesome set of level 80 exotic gear (looks too). Still going on completing the world, once i’m done i will probably finish off maxing my crafting skills, do some spvp and wvw, gear my warrior up, level some different crafting skills on him, do all the jumping puzzles, once all that’s done, i can level another race and proffession and experience a whole different story and gaming experience and most of all just enjoy this beautiful game.

Play the game in a different mentality to WoW. But after playing it how it should be played, i can honestly say for me this is one of the best games of the decade.

I agree with everything here, they need to really read this.

Because i honestly love the customization options, with all the fur colours, patterns, horns, eyes, i know other races have similar thing’s but i find they just look so much more awesome on the charr <3

I think the general consensus for players Gaile, or whichever mod may be viewing this currently;

1. not every player knows your CoC back to front as you do.
2. people make mistakes when the first create accounts such as creating incorrect names – perhaps a word filter at character select would help them so they don’t have to spend 72 hours banned after their first hour of gameplay.
3. what is rude in one country is not rude in others (how can we know this) i.e. fanny is an american term for your gluticus maximus but over here in ireland it means a womans genitalia.
4. why is there no warnings? why jump straight to bans? surely you can follow how many infractions an account has, why is there not some lee-way here for first time offenders or wrongly reported people.
5. which brings me to the point of – it feels as if bans/chat logs are not looked over correctly, from reading above and in other threads it looks like they are just skimmed over or automated so a program picks up a curse word in your database and finds the user who typed and just auto bans them. where is the human touch gone?
6. it really does seem as if mods are trigger happy when it comes to game/forum moderations.
7. is the game turning into a point where no player wants to disagree with a player in map chat in case they get reported by someone either having a bad day or just too click happy and end up with a 72 hour ban for getting misconstrued?
8. a little off topic but surely this thread in itself is open to abuse? i mean, i don’t understand why it was created, no offense.

Really agree with you here, especially on point 4, give some warnings, jumping straight into bans often makes necessary avoidable tickets. For the permanent bannable offences like buying gold especially, you should give a warning with a 1 week ban or something like that. I’m not for buying gold at all but doing something like that would be a lot lighter on the many people who seem to have been unfairly banned as of very recently (sorry it’s around Christmas guise :<)

People make mistakes while making new characters when playing game’s like this, you should be abit for fair to new players 72 hours bans will not make them want to return.

I’ve had great experiences with Arena net’s support team, they have sorted out a lot of problems for me but i don’t like what they are doing with banning people, i mean 1 of my friend sent me 10 gold the other day, am i just waiting for a perma ban :/? (same for him)

Hate to bring WoW into the equation as i highly prefer guild wars 2 at the moment but with their banning system they rarely permanent ban, i mean have you seen trade chat in that game?, there is swearing all over the place, nobody gets banned even if they are reported, i sort of agree with that as long as its not racism, or anything harsh to someone personally, but people shouldn’t be banned at all for swearing, that’s why there is a language filter.

And i honestly think that the true problem is permanent bans for nothing in a lot of cases, you need to realize how much time people put into their accounts, and wake up to the sight of a permanent ban, which would be absolutely devastated especially around this Christmas season like i said. If they haven’t done anything they will get their accounts back but why should they have to go a week without game time because they traded gold with a friend, the game has been out a while now, so people have earned and are trading a lot of gold, and i feel like guild wars has one of the best communities so i can see why there is a lot of sharing especially with friends and guild mates. And they are getting permanent bans when they are actually the nice guys of the game, it’s abit depressing and i hope some altercations are made.

Other than banning customer support is very good and kudos to all the people doing support for guild wars 2, i realize you are just doing your jobs. But with the rules like they are it seems a lot of people’s Christmas’s are being ruined because of gold trading.

But honestly just listen to the quotes 8 points, they all speak massive truth’s.
