Oh well… you can not satisfy everyone. That would be perfect business. There will always be customers wanting more, and more, and more… for free if possible. This is the offer, take it or leave it, but be happy with your decision whatever it is.

What is best for the company does not always translate to being best for the customer.

It does translate as “being the best for the customer” as long as the customer accepts it. ArenaNet does not force it’s customers to buy any offer. This is exactly why they make statistics and don’t create bundles randomly. If you buy the bundle, then you are happy with your decision, otherwise you would refuse it and not buy it at all.

So far, bundles are a success and statistics prove it. If you want a glimpse of bundle success, take a look at how Shadow Dyes price dropped in just 2 days because of it’s bundle, or how many players wear the new outfit from the bundle.

The bundles are fine, it’s about marketing and discounts. In general, with bundles you can buy more products, cheaper as a whole.

Possibly they could earn more selling them separately, or probably not.
I am confident in the marketing team for making statistics on how is best to sell their products. So I am sure the bundles (as they are now) represent the best decision.

Until they fix WvW or just restore the maps to what they used to be, I’m not buying any gems. They already completely killed my ability to play as a small guild, we used to run 5 man WvW runs until HoT, now guild catas cost twice as much supply and aren’t as obtainable, we can no longer use the guild buffs that we earned before, instead we have to try to reearn them with 5 people… Just unreal how cheated I feel by this expansion..

For me, it does not matter if GuildWars2 is an esport or not.

I can not say I enjoy the game, because it’s not fun for me to PvP in fast 1-2-3 skills. I can however enjoy the idea of 200.000$ prize promises, and people wanting those promises. I wish good luck to all players watching those games hoping for money.

As a side note, I think ArenaNet should have put this 200.000$ prize to first 10 players completing an extremely hard PvE Raid or Dungeon. In my opinion this would have been a much better financial investment and marketing publicity. But, then again, I am just a player and customer, what do I know?!

I kindly request from ArenaNet to put an option of Automatic Invitation Deny.

For example, if you are in World Versus World, you get all kinds of invitations in squad, even if you put the commander in block list.

If you are in Heart of the Mists, you get invitations from spammers.

If you simply do not wish to be bothered by anyone on a map, trying to relax alone, you get invitations on party because someone needs you in that specific moment.

YES! There is an option to deny (or refuse) the invitation. But you will receive it again, and again, in all these situations, with no option to stop it.

So please, ArenaNet, include some form of checkbox in options, to refuse all invitations until that box is unchecked.

No matter how you see it, it’s still bad. F2P accounts should not be able to whisper in my opinion.

I wish to thank ArenaNet for making this game free. They really improved communication. Before HoT expansion I did not receive many whispers, but now I get a lot of whispers about gold selling offers and about websites selling items. This is so awesome.

In the Chest of Exotic Equipment there is no Chest of Revenant’s Exotic Equipment.
This is unfair for an expansion where Revenant was released.

Every MMO has it’s flaws, and with every patch there will be ups and downs.

Learn to adapt, and try to play what combination is good and you know best. In every environment a player tries to find the best weapon or the best tactic to enjoy the game; it’s the same here, try to find the best profession and enjoy it while it lasts, or until the next balance patch is released. Nobody forces you to play anything, so choose wisely.

More than three years have passed since release. An MMO PvP player should know how things work in any game, with ups and downs.

I don’t think things will be that hard. Ascended will not be that important in my opinion. This still remains a casual game. Making things harder or unaccessible is not a solution.

The answer: I think one should get the ascended armor as soon as possible. The prices will go high after HoT release, because that is how kids think about other kids wanting everything immediately after release.

On the other hand, you could simply enjoy Halloween event in GW2 for 2 weeks and gather a lot of gold, bags and finishers, avoiding all the chaos and bugs with HoT.

As time passes it will get cheaper and cheaper. Only you can decide when and if the price is right for you.

I do not care about grinding, but if it is required I will do it. I never done any fractals and I mostly enjoy the PvP part of the game, including WvW. If I must grind players in PvP, I will gladly do it.

Worth is a very important, and yet vague term. What for someone is worth nothing, for someone else is worth treasure. Only you can decide the worth of something.

It is a bit like money. The value of money is only in our heads, a value set and put by others. The only difference here is that you decide if expansion is worth getting or not, or if some parts of it are entertaining for you, or not.

I personally do not care about bugs. I will be playing Halloween labirinth with PvP reward track. During this time of Halloween events (2 weeks) things will settle down with patches, bugs will be removed, and HoT will become more playable.

This is awesome. A few more days to Halloween in GW2.
