Well it was 540G 2 days back…Wow. They need to bring the patch where you can craft pre-cursors fast lol.

I am facing this bug. I killed the sharks but Tonn wont set the charges. It is annoying.

I have tried. NO one is doing it, hence this post. I usually dont post, or if I do, its because I cant get the answer. We have been trying on Borlis Pass for past 2 hours. I am even guesting here to do so. And no luck! I also checked the links (I have had them for a while) and that is how I knew Borlis Pass is attempting it. No luck. Contested. Been checking for a few days now.

So I noticed that when the new content comes out, no one does stuff like Balthazar temple and other stuff.

If that is how it is to be, my only suggestion would be to make Obsidian Shards available more easily through other temple vendors and not just on Balthazar. Some of us are gathering Karma and using them for nothing. I do not see what’s the point of having said shards ONLY available via vendor at Balthazar OR Fractals or by chance through the Orr Jewel Box (or whatever it is called).

You guys need to figure this out. Some of us have been struggling to do Balthazar in small groups and keep failing. But your new content (which are awesome) are not allowing us to get what we need in the “old” content. I kinda feel that the “new content once a month” Was more ideal than this fortnightly….

SO some of us have been killing and farming bosses, but apparently, we have not been getting the boss loots. Several people have mentioned this on Map Chat. Bug? Can you please fix this?

I really hope they can fix all this. too many bugs to enjoy this event. Especially Gauntlet.

Another bug that just happened to some of us is when it says “It’s your turn to fight. You’ll be sent in shortly” and you are sitting there and nothing is happening. You are not being sent into the ring.

One more that happened to me and several others is that 2 people get sent in at the same time and they both end up facing 2 champs at the same time.

Guys please fix.

I know a lot of other people are having several bug issues in Queen’s Gauntlet. Where some people (while fighting Strugar & Chomper) say that Strugar throws out only 1 – 2 meats, some say he has thrown 3, which makes it impossible to stop Chomper and get achievement.

With Liadri, some people have noticed her “shadow fall” skill lag. Where even after it has been used and you see that shadow fall, then walk in to pick the crystal since that skill ended, it still downs you.

I do not know if ANet is working to fix these or not, because a lot of people talk of such bugs in map chat, and I have experienced both mentioned above too. There are several other bugs on other Champs too.

I have a feeling that the reason the Herald said Evon won, was not a bug, but was to prevent people from voting more for Evon, since confidently people felt “he already won!”

I am disconnecting with this today. I never ever had this issue ever since the game went beta, but today it is frustrating.

I am just as annoyed. Dragon coffers would drop as crazy from the mobs. But the Kites are so rare. It seems like ANet is getting worse and worse about such a thing. In fact, I miss the ANet of GW, where you PAY for what you want, NO RNG.

I am thoroughly disappointed with this bug.

The Guild Wars 2 doesn’t have a monthly fee argument is a bit moot. Guild Wars 1 was also free to play, and over there we didn’t have a gem store. It’s just a source of extra income which I highly doubt is needed to keep the game free to play.

I would be up for a fixed price, at least that way you’d know what’s up. That way discounts on certain items would actually mean something, I mean 25% discount on something, and the price going up by 25% because of the increased sales isn’t really worth it.

Not saying to get rid of it altogether, though a bit fairer wouldn’t hurt.

First, sorry they need income from somewhere. It’s not free to keep an MMO running.

Second, Guild Wars did have a straight up cash shop where you could buy things.

However this is a problem for someone who doesn’t have a credit or debt card. This is why just about every MMO and game system now uses a proxy currency to run their cash shop. You can still buy the proxy currency online but now you can sell those little FastCard cards in stores for those who prefer or have no other choice than using cash. Sure ANet (Gems), Nintendo (NPoints), Perfect World (Zen), XBox (XBL Points), NCSOFT (NCoin), etc will never get the full cash value from that card but it’s income they wouldn’t otherwise get. Plus you can give them as gifts in a birthday card. Also they get the money when you buy the proxy currency , not when you spend it.

You’re somewhat right. You got to take into account that they started selling stuff at the end of the GW1 lifespan, and that it wasn’t as prominent as the store in GW2. As for the expansions, I’m pretty sure that when Elona, Cantha, and The Far Shiverpeaks are introduced they’ll be released on disk. That is if they are as big as what we have now. And lets face it your not going to download a game that’s roughly 40gig, maybe more.

What bothers me is that in GW, we had the whole “pay for the item you want” when it came to costumes/skins. What I do not like about GW2 is that said skins is a “random chance”. Why not just release a skin and ask for upfront gem payment rather than putting it as a “chance” item? This gives everyone a fair chance, those who use credit cards, or convert currencies, to plan and buy what they want. I miss what ArenaNet used to do with the GW market. I wish they would do the same here.

So I did everything suggested on many forums. I also updated all my drivers, including Ethernet and what not. And the game STILL stops downloading and remains at 0%. I did not have this issue when the game came out. I merely restored my laptop to factory settings, and this problem begins. I updated everything as I said. This is getting frustrating. I wanted to get back to gaming as soon as possible.
