What happened to the revenant? I came back after a week, and i cant even live 3 hits in the new living story? What have you done, ANet?

I made this post on reddit and was advised by Gaile to post in the forums. I hope I am posting in the right section. But here it is:

I dont know if this has been suggested before, but I noticed that Lost Precipice has a very “earth” like theme. Where as the Gilded Hollow has a very “water” like theme.
Wouldnt it be awesome if we had another guild hall released somewhere near Metrica or near Rata Novus, that had an “air” like theme, but was a guild hall floating in air? It could look like another Rata?

And may be a “fire” like theme too? somewhere in the volcanoes? It would be awesome to have more choices. But I hope with these added choices, guilds that already own a guild hall, would be allowed to “migrate” their hall. Something like what happens with Terrans in Starcraft where you just lift off and move, a guild can have all its NPCs just pack up and move. With a “tragic” story of why the old hall fell, or the likes. I dont know. I think it would be awesome!

Can’t purchase it. Amazon Music (USA) refuses to accept Canadian cards to purchase. Amazon website (not the music) accepts it, but that is not where I can buy your soundtrack anyways. Too bad. I was really looking forward to the soundtrack and since it is out, was dying to buy it.

I guess ArenaNet doesnt really want business outside of USA. Oh well.

This has happened a bit too often to ignore it. I made it past the snowballs onto the first box of the final lap, yet a snowball manages to drag me off and still knock me? How is that even possible when I was on the boxes and running for the final lap?

I beat this event 3 times, each time hopping map. Each time, she did NOT have the item when the vendor was opened up.

I dont know why a lot of legendary precursor issues have not been fixed yet, however, gem store is being shoved with money grabbing items. I was hoping instead of focusing on Gem Store releases, that you would fix bugs and other issues that have been around since launch? :S

I am literally disgusted by the fact that 19 days and 600 posts later Anet has still failed to even comment on this issue in their OWN FORUMS.

Relax. My guild mentioned that Anet said there is a fix coming for it this Tuesday. Lets keep our fingers crossed and hope it is true. But apparently they mentioned it on some reddit post.

In the past week or so, all I am getting from ArenaNet is that my computer graphic card is causing my crashes, this is not supported, that is not supported.

What I do not understand is, this is the same PC I been using since 2013, the same PC I been using to play GW2 core. YET, when Heart of Thorns came out, there have been crashes, and for some reason, it is my PC?!

Not only that, but I upgraded my PC from single graphic card to 2 graphics card. ANet asked me to disable SLI.

I upgraded my RAM to 32GB RAM. I upgraded my processor from 2.1Ghz Quad Core to 3.2Ghz Eight-core Processor. I went from 1TB Hard drive to 4TB hard drive.

I am also running Windows 10 with all updates done. Graphic cards are latest drivers too. So what exactly is my PC “doing wrong” that ANet keeps blaming my PC? I would really like to know. To claim that my PC has issues, when games that demand MORE graphics/ram/processor than GW2 seem to run smoothly, in fact, with my 3D Nvidia vision kit plugged in as well (I do not do for GW2 due to crashes).

I have never ever had crashes with GW2 until the expansion. So please take your “blames” of my PC to someone who doesnt know what their PC is. I am sorry to sound harsh and rude but trying to point fingers at my PC is solving nothing. Fix your crap on your end. And stop blaming the users. 3 people I know who have same if not better PC than mine, and are crashing too.

My guild mates have been receiving 40 crystalline ores after finishing the main story line of Heart of Thorns. I have already completed mine, and I did not get my crystalline ores?

Can this be addressed please and hopefully i can get my 40 ores?

I have tried getting people to come and do it. But when we do get enough people, there are too many idiots laying dead and scaling the boss, as well as people being too brain dead to do CC and break his bar. It is honestly frustrating as I do not understand how people managed to get this far with only hitting #1 on their keyboard.

After seeing seeing John Smith’s sarcastic response in a thread about the bundling, and after seeing the FAQ revision mere hours ago, I already decided not to buy the xpack.

I feel so stupid. It bothers me so much I’m still on the forums wondering how I could be so stupid for buying this game in the first place. The warning signs were all there: in-app purchases (so to speak), gambling, number-pushing, and flashing lights. These are all the design strategies of video poker, and we’re all just junkies.

i am doing the exact same thing. I am somewhat depressed and disgusted. I personally spend around $150 for a collector’s edition of the core game, only to get hammered like this.

To clarify: $50 is the price of the expansion. We included the core game as a free bonus to make it easier for new players to get into it.

Are you kidding me?! Some of us bought the collector’s edition for a good hefty buck. Your $50 includes no features like free slot or anything for the old players that already have the core game, forcing them to PAY MORE to get said benefit.

No matter how you look at it, people who have been buying the core game until now, including from stores like Gamestop and what not, are getting ripped off. People who own the game get NO benefit from the $50 purchase.

Which part of “those who already own the core game do not want the core game in the pack” is ANet failing to understand. Instead of doing that, you could as easily offer a free character slot instead to the people who already OWN the game.

This seems more aimed at new players, rather than those who already have the game. Thoroughly disappointed and disgusted after waiting so long for this.

i am having the same issue, and I am feeling depressed as it is the only thing i need now. i got excited for nothing when the patch kicked in.

I am confused so I will ask 2 questions:

1) where is this “update”?
2) What was their biggest failure?

I am aware that ANet had said that the precursors would be craftable by the end of 2013. Apparently nothing has been mentioned about it ever since. What is going on? Will we ever see craftable precursors ever?

ANet had said that they would bring about precursor crafting by the end of the year. I know the ascended armor crafting is out, but what exactly is the status on precursor crafting?

So apparently there is a bug with this skin. I bought this skin on my male mesmer. I then tried this skin (for the sake of comparing) on my female ranger (as a preview) and thought it looks better on female. So I bought a Total Make Over Kit, and changed gender (while the Trickster armor was already on me).

I found out that prior to the gender change, I was able to dye my armor with 4 dye choices. After the change, i could only use 3 dyes. I immediately reported this to ANet and also provided a ticket. I merely asked (like they have done in the past) to give me a new skin, i am NOT asking for a refund on my money or gems. They have previously replaced my items if it was bugged or i did not receive, sincerely, and i expected the same thing this time.

However, this time I received an email saying that they CANNOT do that at all. Ummm…so basically I was scammed? I paid for something that is bugged and cannot get a replacement? Since when did that change? Is ANet getting too bloated on the consumer money to be bothered any more?

I just want some insight or advice on this. This is ridiculous. They are basically telling me to buy the SAME armor skin again?! I used to think better of ANet, until this incident. I am now led to believe that even smaller companies, and free to play-cash shop companies, are more sincere than ANet. I am not mad, i am thoroughly disappointed and disgusted. Whatever happened to customer is always right policy in business? Not just that, but i DID provide screenshots too. I was not making any of it up.

I am inclined to agree with the people’s issues with Empyreals here. However for people like myself, I do not know where I can farm them and only do so in COF, for example. Because I need them and do not know where to get them.

I can understand the frustration people are having with the drops and stacks. I suggest they at least be tradeable or have other uses.

In other words, a grind. How many people really have enough agony resist to go that high? Most people dont even want to cooperate in a party and cause failures.

Unfortunately, this means that we’re not able to make changes to correct the issue. We’re sorry about this and we will be implementing ways to ensure this doesn’t happen in the future.

Well, can you guys at least compensate us for this?! Because those who DID finish the monthly before this bug hit, will now get double the reward, which isn’t fair for the rest of us.

Just because someone makes more money in the game than others, it does not make them no-life losers. It is very easy to farm mats and gold in this game and everyone is responsible for doing it themselves. If you don’t have the time to dedicate to farming for what you want, then lighten the load in your life and play more, or even play a different game that you have time to get the things you want in.

I said it in another post and I will say it again: Would you walk the streets irl and ask people for money to buy a Ferrari? Would you laugh at that person if you saw them do that or give them money? No, you would tell them to work harder to make more money to buy it themselves.

My homeworld sells exotics at 3G+. Not a cheap investment to try for Legend. Like I said, already “wasted” 200G.

Hi guys, I know this is gonna sound bad but I hope people can take it with an open mind.

I have worked very hard getting all the gifts, while managing school and work (I played 2-3 hours a day and managed to get that). I really wanna finish making the Bifrost.

I am hoping some of you guys can help me with the precursor; The Legend. I am not asking someone to buy it off for me or something, but any kind of help that will lead me to it will help.

By that, I mean any kind of Level 75+ rare/exotic staff I could use in Mystic Forge, or gold or anything. I am not someone who usually asks gold, but any other kind of help that will lead me to The Legend will help. I have already blown around 200G into mystic forging the Legend with no luck.

In fact, what frustrates me most is some dude in my guild got 3 precursors just mystic forging nonstop (and got in in first 9 tries). Where as I have been doing for longer and getting nothing out of hit but crap.

So any kind of help will be appreciated (not necessarily in the form of gold).

They need to bring the patch to craft precursor fast :P
