Was stuck on FS BL last night while we had two guild raids pointlessly running about looking for the oppositions guild raids to run into each other and gather loot bags/become them. Massive queues during prime time meant I couldn’t escape.

Whilst the guild ‘raids’ were on, no comm tagged until near the end which attracted 10-15 people.

For the entirety of the time the guilds were on, we held exactly one camp, one tower. Then after the small pug group spent the time knocking down the gates we finally waved carrots at the guild raids who condescended to grace us with their presence to fight inside bay and take it (as there were defenders to kill).

I’m sure the guild fights were great fun, but they contributed almost nothing to the score for the whole evening, and in a match up that is this close that could really have hurt the server. Watching one ‘melee train’ fight another ‘melee train’ was about the most tedious thing I have seen in wvw, Stop, Buff. Charge. Hammers. Press 1, press 1, press1. Stop. Buff. Keep in a ball. Water fields. Blast. Wells. Yawn. Why people still stand and wave at it from the front I have no idea- they are quite easy to beat on an open field with a bit of co ordination as the balling up is also their downfall, as is the reliance on the the eles and necros who tend to be on the wings, and the ball tends to focus all it’s damage to the front.

As soon as the guild raids were over a comm tagged up and we were able to have some nice fights and actually hold on to some points as well.

You know what? Tag up, spend 100G and regroup on the pugs do your PPT game as you know, if guild don’t want to tag up it’s there deals, those guild really play for your server for pretty much forever, bring points, during primetime so many times, without those guild carrying in primetime, Gandara would be an other Pugs server, and a soon stuff became hard, pugs leave and rage quit, instead Guild stay even during massive blob, to keep fighting.

So Tag up, take resposability, or just shut up.

Same thing works for any other server.

To everybody in the threads, pls move this discusson from GvG vs roamer, pls just stop posting, i can see both side of the battle, what i can tell you need to experience top level of both before start talking, Gvg has a different skillset, and roamer have a different skillset.
If you want to discuss which it’s better, open a new thread discuss it there, don’t feed the troll, keep this thread for The Edge of the mists map.

For Gandara vs Fsp vs Ag, we should have multiple person, doing Screenshoot non stop, in very bad quality, during every gvg, and post everything in the matchup thread, and let multiple people count every single screenshoot, also it’s prefarable using multiple Mesmer and Spirit Ranger, to just mess with people counting.
Also during all the screenshoot posting we should add random screenshoot of other gvg with similar Tag!!! Maybe the Drama begin!

The only thing that made this week tolerable was that we’d been kittened over by Piken and Vizuna even more in the previous weeks. AG are an awful blob server and Millers are getting there.

You couldn’t be further from the truth, but if I had to correct you I’d be giving away AG strategy. All I’ll say therefore is that you and Miller’s deserve you placings this week. You simply got outplayed.

Pretty sure we didn’t outplay GH, they just have less people, we got tons of pve player from nothing that i hope they farmed so hard in the next matchup that somebody will break, keyboard, monitor, disinstall the game, trow the pc out of the windows, i really hope, many many many pve player Rage quit so hard, that they can’t cry anymore.

So that finally guild group can play.
Ag it’s full of awesome guild that run tagless 90% of the time, most the guild don’t add to a fight, and many guilds go in the wrong side of the map just to have challenge and to give challenge to other guilds and not stack up.

Gh it’s very similar to Ag, just don’t have the massive Pve influx that we didn’t want.
Miller also got Mya and few other guilds!

After 1 week of season, i have to say i can’t play wvw i just can’t after 30 min in queue i just go play something else, i want to play with my guild with the people that i care, Train, go raid in wvw everything for the last yeah, this week it’s the only week were i couldn’t get inside wvw because not my problem, but because of queue i can’t.
I lead for the last 4 months pretty much non stop, 7 night at week for 2-3 hours at night sometimes even more, this week of those 7 night i had to give up on 4 and the other ones was with extreme lag very bad game experience.

WvW became unaviable, i’m playing something else now, Ty for destroying what we the player build with months of hardwork, to bring community together, we created content where contet wasn’t, we kept trying even with all the bad ideas you had.
Now we just can’t play, if the situation it’s like this in 1 month well i’ll leave gw2, there is no reason to stay during leagues for me.

But Drama man, This silver league Theard are the BEST!

I think with 5 people dead, at end that seems way more than 14-15 to make a 20, but it would be nice to Wbc vide too

Your server handled our group quite well.

Calling it early due to people constantly dc’ing, being unable to log in or stuck in an eternal teleport around the map.
Until something is changes and anet fixes their game we’re cancelling our gvg’s this week. It should be a test of skill, not who can accomodate himself better to the lag. Let’s hope something changes, but we had massive lag while roaming with five players during the afternoon.

Try my Best, to keep them alert, hopefully somebody learn to watch the vulcanus coming and dodge your melee train
