elite specs made by Robert looks and are actually 10 times better and more fun to play than any other specializations made by other devs…….I would suggest to let Robert make all future specializations so every player can enjoy his mains and dont have to reroll because of it.

You never did specify which mode. 5k is pretty decent in PvP, about the same as Life Blast on another zerker assuming PvP stats.
yup sorry I play only spvp so I meant in spvp last hit from AA was for 5500 and number 5 from RS was hitting for 9k

I still dont get why our elite shout has such a long cd and 2s cast time it should be on 60s cd baseline with 1/2 second cast time…..or 3/4s cast time look at rangers elite root and look at guardian elite shout 24s cd 5s quickness

RS I just love. Maybe the AA could do with a slight damage increase again just to bring our Base AA’s in line with other classes.
with valkyrie amulet you can hit for 5k last AA from RS I dont think its too low
tbh I think when you spec reaper your shouts should have horrific voice cuz my asura shouts are so funny when I should be death bringer I sound like a clown
one tip for you if you run spite take vulnerability from chills (3 stacks from chill) and when you land reaper shroud n5 use n2 charge to get chill aura…….you will stack 25 vulne stacks in no time ;-)
good build for sure I just dont like signet of vampirism…….reaper will bring whole new gameplay tho.

Okay guys I dont know if it will be viable but I used this spec last two days of beta in pvp first in hot joins to test it out and then in unranked to see how it is. I would like to say I am quite experienced on guard (1k games on him) on necro I have 3,7k games but I didnt play it last year. With reaper I finally see light on the end of the tunnel. It has potencial.
I think this build has great sustain you can tank more pple than bunker guardian and you can sometimes even escape lost fight. (Never managed to do that with my guard) So basically you can hold 3 pple on you for some time and then leave a point and go somewhere else or recover and get some help from your team mates.
However I dont say its better than guardian bunker build. It offers something different in term of gameplay.
When you are on guardian you should be with your team mates to support them in team fights, thats where guardians shine.
Bunker reaper however is great to slow down pple and with chills you can stack a lot of vulnerability and fight much more longer alone outnumbered than bunker guardian. If you are teamed up with classes that shares a lot of boons (eles, guards, inspiration mesmers, engies)…..you are basically almost immortal.
And whats even better you can still deal a decent amount of dmg while cleaving thanks to vulnerability stacks, might stacks and dhuumfire.

last utility skill I chose was shout you are all weaklings that gives you stability and might stacks…..this shout can give you almost 20% life force when you hit 4 targets (pets, illusions, players etc….) helps you a lot for sustain and dmg.
PU is good vs new players maybe but veterans know how to prevent the stealth burst from mesmer…….I think mogar is right go inspiration for condi cleanses or illusions for better spike dmg…..depends whats your role in team.
illusions is good for some condies you put on your enemy so he can start panic because tbh he dunno whats your condi dmg and he has to use condi cleanses = you forced him to use his CDs and your team will take him down more easily……also reduced recharge on decoy is nice and improved shatters are great….
well so they will basically nerf traits and we will be in same situation as before one build for every class no options…….instead of nerfing buff other traits so pple really dunno what to get because of how good every trait is……and buff other classes that are behind mesmer.

When I feel like I cannot give up a trait for anything else, to me that says something is too strong.
PU is a must have, and the only reason is the stealth duration. I mean, 6s on decoy’s and 10 on MI? lol you would dumb not to include it in any build and no GM trait in the Mesmer tree can compete.
Well you think this way…….I consider immobilize on interupt way stronger than PU in team play….
If you can’t elaborate as to how you counter Mesmer easily instead of saying “there must be a way, but I don’t know yet”, then your words have no merits at all.

Well zerg vs zerg heroes usually love deathmatch tho…since they have no idea on how to rotate, tactics and so on…
is it bad those zerg vs zerg heroes want something to have fun with? Its not that hard to make 3 deathmatch arenas 2vs2 3vs3 and queue for it…..I think many pple would play that
guardian shield is really useless I thought they will buff it way better than reducing cds
I think all that needs to be done is that summoning a phantasm should count as a regular attack (i.e. break stealth + apply revealed).
And blocking/blinding/dodging an attack should also cause the attacker to drop out of stealth (but without the revealed debuff).
but if thief attacks you and you have block aegis etc he is not revealed too
well before patch I met thief who had almost perma evade nobody could hit him even with mesmer gs 1 autoattack and now thieves are crying mesmer is viable choice over them
mantra build is great even with 3 mantras (mantra of pain <3) but its not that great for solo playing. It shines in premades

I love deathmatch and coutyard but its bad map for deathmatch……i hope they will introduce more deathmatch maps and 2vs2 3vs3 arenas
I gave a condi mesmer a try yesterday and today……even after the nerf its quite viable spec for 1vs1 1vs2 2vs2 any bigger fight it is getting useless and power will be superior…..if they would revert nerf on torment it could be option to play vs power mesmer tho
necro will always suck because class has major flaws in design and anet wont change it…..unless there will be 2vs2 3vs3 arenase necro wont be used in pvp teams…….I played 3500 games as a necro untill I rerolled to mesmer/guard year ago

- Condi-Necro is IMHO viable now in teamfights, cuz of unholy martyr, but not OP.I play Ele myself and have played and tested out tons of builds on all the classes and the only thing I think is currently way over the top is S/D-Ele. D/X is too easy to interrupt (the crucial skills) and is melee only, which is a pretty big deal on many maps to be considered OP IMHO.

So ppl here are a little misinformed imo…. wells are great but can be useless. Of course dropping them at your feet will not change anything in a fight. So how DO you land your wells?! Here’s how:
1) USE CC – Immob, fear, chill, knockdown etc .
No one is gonna stay in your wells voluntarily, so you have to make them. Chain CC’s to keep ’em where ya want, what I do is wait until they have blown some cleanses and use Tainted Shackles > Dagger 3 > WoSuffering > Dagger AA.
Simple and effective, how I like it.2) REZZING/STOMPING – If people are not moving…
Anyway who is rezzing or stomping will not move for ~3 secs and that is the perfect time to drop some wells. In the beginning of this video you can see them all rezzing the necro… dropped WoCorruption and Suffering and we got a pentakill3) Don’t just blow ‘em! – Wells are not as good in 1v1’s
In 1v1’s use them VERY carefully because one dodge and they are out. Use CC and drop wells if you know you can get 2+ ticks in. That is enough IMO.4) Suprise! – Use them unexpectedly
Is someone chasing you? Drop a well behinf you, turn back, spam dat dagger AA and take half of his HP.There is more!
The pre patch meta necro build was with double wells, one extra (Well of Power, which is not about hitting people) shouldn’t make it any different. So you have 2 wells you have to actually hit… and you have enough CC for that.28 sec CD? Aw yea!
WoSuffering is quite spamable with 28 sec CD, use it often to get some breathing room or proc some necro stuffHope this helped
nice guide but eventhough you immobilize someone in wells some classes have nice escape mechanics blink/shadowstep/bow skill 5 for thief/staff number 2 for mesmer/ lightening flash for ele/war can break immobilize on any moving skill/ guard can cleanse easily with f2 etc
