I think you can benefit from burst mastery more that double adren on hit.

The reason why Longbow is so important is because of Building Momentum. with energy sigil and longbow F1, you get a lot of dodges. Thats the way to keep yourself stay alive longer. Also the might stacking get more effect on condi damage, so the longbow burning become an important dps as well. The great sword also important because of its mobility, and the GS #3 also count as a dodge. To combine everything together, you can dodge more than other ppl do, and that’s how hard to play well on a longbow warrior.

Just wanna mention a thing, if you have the fast hand trait, and you put swap sigil such as battle, energy on both weapons set, it’s really meaningless.

If they really working on PVP features, they should nerf ele hard and buff warrior hard in this patch. BUT we all know it won’t happen.

Looks like warriors are going to get another useless buff at this patch.

Yo kpop, I don’t think it will work because Might stacking doesn’t effect a lot on dps (according on my long term testing), it only makes condition dmgs big difference. So, as a warrior, we all know that we only got bleeding, which is useless. If you are trying HGH, you should use Long bow because the burning got the most affect by getting more condition dmg.

Do any of you have a build that’s built to counter mesmers or even remotely deal with them. This is primarily for wvw since confusion is feeling pretty broken there.

The easiest profession for warrior to against should be Memsers.
All you need is to get the trait of movement skill break immo, and also using gs+lb.

and Yea, I don’t think I am the best warrior NA either dreamer, and I am not even on leader board… well… I think it’s because I don’t play tournament that often recently. I guess not even more than 20 times so… I join solo a lot, and in my time zone, the enemy teams are all pros. According what you have said dreamer, I’m kinda agree with you, but I never forget your engineer friend so mad at me in a tournament. Although Ishana explained to me before, I’m kinda curious that is there any relationship between these.

For the best engineer in NA, most people saying it’s Ostrich. I guess most people judge people’s skill by their famous level, and Ostrich is like E-Famous now, and you should ask around, Ostrich is really good at playing condi engi. I don’t really judge someone’s skills because I don’t really think there is a best player, only a famous player. And another funny thing is, everyone think they are the best, but I don’t.

Are you serious right now? Do you really think I don’t know how the Conditions work in this game?….

Besides the build dealing AoE-Burning every 8 Seconds for up to 14 Seconds with max ticks and +40% Burning Duration in total, which equals about 8k in AoE-Condition-DMG, the build is also very resistent against Condition-Removal, because the ticks that apply burning are so frequent.

I don’t know how good your are and if it’s even remotely adequate to discuss with you, but if you take this game seriously, I’d highly encourage you to test out as many builds as possible. At least you could do it if you plan on commenting on the build that vehemently.

I used to run dual swords in the early days of PvP and found it immensely fun. For some reason, call it pressure from the pvp forums who often suggested swords were useless, I moved away from it. Today I struggled in PvP with my usual builds and I decided to go back to the dual swords – it was a build very similar to yours, but I hadn’t thought to try Shaman’s amulet with it. As soon as I made that switch, I was rolling.

Then again, I always loved the feel of the sword, I know some don’t. This build is definitely worth a try for anyone suffering through the weaknesses of the Warrior recently. It’s a palate cleanser, that’s for sure, and remarkably effective.

I’m glad you like it. Well, this build really bunk if you control it well, and you can still kill ppl with it. Good job, and I’m enjoy to see people discuss warrior stuff with me!

Forgot to say in the video, for the master spite trait you can swap spiteful marks for chill of death. Hits pretty hard since they changed it last patch.

Just some quick questions.
1. How do you against people with condition cleanser.

2. What are you going to do when you already drop your well after immobilized and they remove your immobilized then escape your combo? That’s the only combo that d/d power nerco have… and next combo = 40sec after.

I also played a lot of power nerco build before and I also did the same build, same utility as you did. Well… the thing is not about your controlling skill, is about the enemy you against with are smart or stupid. The only problem for power nerco is too easy to escape their burst combo.

Hmm… thanks for mentioning me, but I don’t think I’m that good. Well I have to say the only thing is, I really enjoying to watch people’s rage after they got owned by me in 1v1, and I’m a WARRIOR. That’s the only thing true right here. LOL

For K pop, don’t be sad, because ppl whoever playing warriors r reli skilled players. The reason why is because we don’t want to touch those cheesy classes. Many people try to show “I am so pro” with a cheesy class, which is so laughable. So just don’t think that much

Let me tell you how to against stealth bleeding thiefs.
- Do not let them be close to your character. The reason why is because they can stealth by using dagger #5, and that’s the only way they can keep stealth. They will remove 1 condition every 3 seconds in stealth so if you run a condi character, you better not let them dagger #5 u a lot. That’s all I can teach you.

btw, stealth bleeding thief is really useless if you do understand what they r doing… it’s a pretty useless build.

I’m just going to go ahead and say you’re 100% wrong. DD isn’t really used anymore because you have to hit for stealth.

I guess you are misunderstanding.
First, I did not mention any D/D thief in my post, so I don’t know where is your D/D statement came from.

Second, do not point out others are 100% wrong when you don’t fully understand what they are trying to say.

Third, what I’m saying is about how to against any kind of the bleeding stealth thief, no matter what weapons they are using.

Finally, I know what weapon set is the most popular for bleeding stealth thief, so please, read before reply.

I have no idea why so many people are saying some classes op oP OP… Just in my opinion, if you got your butt kicked by some others classes, that doesn’t mean that that class is op. I believe that Anet already did the best on balancing each classes’ ability. For the conclusion, I believe that if your PvP controlling skills has reached a good stage, you will not complain about which profession is OP anymore.

I was playing mostly sPvP, but recently I decided to try out tPvP. Well difference of skill is huge. Where I would mostly feel superior in sPvP, now mostly I would feel hopeless and outplayed.

Now if I would run into organized team, after 1, 2 minutes I can tell whats going on and those kind of loses are not that important to me. What surprised me the most when I would play vs random teams they would hold their own. Sometimes even outplay me completely. Now keep in mind I play alone and I’m in random teams.
My goal is to improve and to be able to contribute the best I can. Here are questions:

I use axe/shield and I like it. Axe is good dps with range cripple + imob and shield stance saved me lots of times. My biggest problem is secondary weapon. I tried rifle and I felt its not that good. People are dodging, dps on rifle is bad. Other people have better range options so I tried hammer. Didn’t like hammer because animations are so slow, good players simply dodge the hell out of me. Rarely I would connect combo and even then they survive. I looked other option and didn’t find any to fit my style.
What are good options for secondary weapons?
Also I run 0 0 25 30 15 shout build soldier rune + berserk amulet. With axe I crit a lot since I’m perma fury. Any suggestion here? My main goal was to create balanced build, with surviving options while still be able to take down peoples hp. I use shake it off, for great justice and fear me.
Also is this build better for camping spots, or maybe I should add gs and try to roam. What are general ideas behind each map for warrior? Should I create totally new build? Would like suggestions from experienced tPvP warriors.

To starter:
In my opinion, shouts heal isn’t that good in tPvP. According to your build and amulet, you are just like a glass cannon with 2 extra healing skills that only gives you another 1.3k heal per shouts. This represent that your dps, def, and even healing power are low. In this result, I would like to recommend you to reconsider your build.

For another event in this thread, I would like to make some comments to “Nier” and “Empathetic Fighter”. I don’t really understand why people here are blaming Nier for calling Empathetic low skilled. He deserves it isn’t it? If you guys try to read carefully from the 3rd floor post through 6th floor post, you will see how rude and arrogant Empathetic Fighter is. Defektive was trying to show the thread starter another build but Empathetic Fighter just laugh at it and make a joke of it because he thinks it is a funny build. As what people always said, “if you want people respect you, you should respect others first.” Even Nier shouldn’t use a “low skilled” to mention others, but I think Empathetic Fighter is the one who isn’t really care to respect others at all.
