So, if FA could stop camping things such as the skritt and centaur areas, preventing others from getting POI and skill points, that would be great. It’s a shame that they called in more people to take out 2 uplevels and a level 80 who were trying to get the areas cleared for map completion. We didn’t attack you, you attacked us. In fact, you chased us. It’s people like you who give the server a bad reputation.

More like, people going for map completion and didn’t attack because we wanted the POI and the skill point, not to fight. Majority of the server I’m on, we don’t do that because we understand people are going for the items in there, not for a brawl of campers.

Sorry brah, people do this on all servers. I’ve had my fair share of people killing me in the jumping puzzles etc but I don’t whine every time it happens.

Coming on to the forums and saying “It’s people like you who give the server a bad reputation” just makes you look like a fool.

And responding to it makes you look just as much of one.

You aren’t going to get people to agree with you with the attitude you started with. They can’t camp it forever. I’ve seen TC camp those places and more frequently camp the JP too. Nobody said that gives your server a bad name…it’s part of the game. Every server does it, find a way around it. No need to come here and make a pointless argument that has come up countless times that have only ended badly.

Most boring reset weekend ever, especially with FABL stuck in a black hole. I’ve gotta say though – I have not seen 1 standout player from Dragonbrand and it disappoints me – even Kaineng had their standout roam groups, 5-mans, and solos. Some guardian with Eternity or whatever came at me at Danelon and I wrecked her in about 15 seconds on my engi.. Then I promptly got ran over by a zerg lmao. Really all I’ve seen is zergzergzergalerg from DB – either they’re camping a tower or keep in a mini-zerg or running around in a big zerg. Trust me, I’m not a zerg-hater in the slightest. When the time comes for a big fight, there shoudl be big fights.. but in those off-hours it seems DB’d rather keep 1 scout to in a keep or tower to blow a whistle and get on a loudspeaker than send out some decent small groups. Congrats to DB, you’ve got an butt-ton of coverage- you can have T1 in the midst of Arrow Cart Wars 2 =D

I guess they’re too many for any singular person/group to stand out. Unlike FA, where Corps is a group of really good players who’ll give any pugs/militia a run for their money. Maybe they’re still new to the scene so we’ll probably see more of them. But I reckon this won’t happen until DB decreases in number (which probably won’t, which means they’ll be on their way to t1 soon).

What the? Corp is new? I remember dueling that guardian with the majestic beard back in Crystal Desert in EB JP – yes he was there in the TC-FA-CD matchup. That beard is way too recognizeable, lmao. We also try to field 5-mans as much as possible, we’ve got quite a few members fond of DAoC days and just want to roam, roam, roam.

Well…yeah. Corp has been on FA since launch but a few of our members have transferred to FA from other servers. Only in the recent months have we been able to field more frequent 3-5 groups.

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the skill lag and DC-fest in Tier 2. Remember, you created this yourself by dragging more guilds into your servers. I feel bad for FA since they’re getting the crap end of 2 other servers’ bandwagons.

I know fort aspenwood have had a lot of issues trying to play on the red borderland so far this week. Constant freezing/disconnections.

Has any of the other servers experienced the same problem?

Tried roaming on FABL. Freezes every 30 seconds to a minute, just disconnected after about 15 minutes of play.

This really sucks…

You should probably be directing that question to ANet. If it wasn’t possible before the patch and now it is, then most likely its an unforseen side effect of the AC buff that someone discovered and made use of.

That said doing that in almost all circumstances is wrong.

1. Pickle, I feel like the ONLY reason you posted this was similar to reasons you post many things, to get a reaction from the TC community and start a fight. It really doesn’t help tensions between our servers. If you find it offensive, take a screenie and report it, but coming on the forums about it and posting really does nothing except want to provoke a reaction.
2. Dude…really…y feed the troll with saying its funny an FA would say that.

This thread is about the matchup’s, not trying to provoke reactions from each others servers, it’s one thing to be competitive and have a rivalry, its another to just look for reactions hoping to get pple riled up. If someone does something offensive, report it, tell your guild to hunt them down and kill them, or w/e else satisfies your ego. Posting it on the forums does nothing, moderators can’t do anything, the offended server will just hop on the “hate the offending server” band wagon, and the offending guild will react back. And the 3rd guild will just sigh and go cmon really?

Will Hold the Line not work with Solder runes, or what to they mean?

I was confused by this too… Maybe they meant Hold the Line originally didn’t work with Pure of Voice? (Please, let it be that!)

I believe hold the line used to remove one condition even without pure of voice, and with pure of voice it removed 2 conditions. If you included soldier’s rune, hold the line removed 3 conditions.

So I guess they fixed it so it only removes 1 condition with pure of voice and probably 2 with soldier’s runes

Could NNK / TFV / rE – clarify their position regarding the SAB zoom out glitch? Everytime there’s a Lord Room battle going on, we end up being at the end of the SAB zoom out glitch.

There’s an intense rivalry built up over months between TC and FA, and a lot of strong emotions between the two servers, but honestly, at least FA doesn’t repeatedly resort to these shenanigans.

I just tried it. It works, but when you take a screenshot your cursor and the green area of effect target disappears so I can’t show it. But you can reach all the way to the back of the lord room.

You’ll have to try it yourself when you get your hills back, but it does work. It’s not an exploit.

The heal is only really useful when you invest in enough healing power. If they nerf it to the point that even with a lot of healing power, that it’s no longer useful…..then I will be very sad.

This Strat was developed and implemented before we received a single Transfer.

It even shows ZN as part of FA in the plan.

While Coverage is a factor in WvW it isn’t the only one.

A “game plan” can be very effective. Far more effective than some on FA seem to want to accept.

There is no denying coverage is not the only factor….but there are so many variables that come to play in wvw that you cannot possibly determine who is better.

There’s no way to accurately determine how good a server’s coverage is compared to another. You can’t make comments like this based on your own vague perception of what you think….especially considering how biased you are (based on your post history).

That kinda applies on everyone who talks about numbers and coverage dont you think so. Im simply genuinely curious, you guys pretty much took all of IOJ’s off peak crew, and you’re all aware that’s TC’s weakness. You were all primed to take us down. I was expecting you guys to take us down.

People greatly exaggerate the IoJ guild merge. I really would rather not go into that argument again….But just to make a point.

Once upon a time, a long time ago before FA received any guilds from IoJ, TC was leading over FA by 110k points. I doubt even what we received would give us enough power to easily beat TC considering the score before the merge.

But still, I don’t want to repeat myself either, so read my post again and try to understand what I meant by it, because if you did, you wouldn’t have just said what you did.

You’re kinda focusing on a moot point though, you’re insinuating that people are biased in this thread. You can’t possibly assume that you’re an exception here with all these claims that you guys are still outnumbered and outmanned on pretty much every situation that you went up against TC.

I’m no exception to bias, but considering my point…it does not apply. I said there is no way to truly know what goes on in wvw because we have no data to look at on it.
