This Wintersday, we find out that Scarlet is the reason why Tixx Workshop went crazy last year.
PLEASE no… I really loved the Tixx dungeons the way they were. Adding Twisteds, some sort of Alliance stuff or Hybrids would really spoil Wintersday.
I ran Molten Facility fractal last night and the mithril nodes inside did give azurite crystals. Did not see any orbs though.

Or will the already skinned armour simply be changed to the new design, and said person will just get a refund of gems and possibly some transmutation crystals/splitters as compensation?
I’m hoping this is the case. This seems to be the most logical way to do it.
Post hotfix and I still can’t get gemstore to load.
When I first saw the pictures of the armor I thought it was cool particle effects you could add to any skin. THAT I would buy in a heartbeat. But this? Very saddened they have cheapened the human T3.
I have seen it a time or 2. It said it was in Timberline, but was actually in Blazeridge for example. Not often at all, but it does happen.
I’ve had this happen, too. I had to go back and open the vault and chest alone. Then I got the achievement.
Seems to me that the rarity is according to the crafting mats contained in it and not the other items. I personally have gotten an exotic weapon from a white champion bag.
I think it has to do with damage done, but if that’s the case it is indeed bugged. It varies so much in my experience.

This also happens to me, but very rarely. The problem I experience much more frequently is boss battle music that won’t stop after the fight. I’ve tried going to a different zone, going to Heart of the Mists, etc., but nothing stops it short of restarting the client. I had this problem with only the Frozen Maw event for a while, but since this last patch it happens at almost every boss fight.
The animation is gone on my Asura thief, too, but my human thief is fine.
In my experience it’s been once an hour, but at a random time. Just today it spawned at xx:31 then again the next hour at xx:19. Next hour was xx:06.

I have the same problem. Since the patch I get only masks and I’ve tried 2 different chars.
It’s the opposite problem for me. I got one mask then ToT bags before the patch, now all I get are masks. I have 3 now No ToT bags at all anymore.
Edit: I just tried on another char and got another mask, no ToT bags.

Okay so so far halloween has been a rehash of last year with one event taken out and one small instance where you fight the prince and get a candy corn pet added in. Is that it? Is there no new dungeon? Last year we got to kill the mad king over and over with a chance of some decent drops. Everyone was speculating that instead we may be fighting the prince. I there a chance it will come later or now that the Mad King showed up for Mad King Says or is that it?
It’s not even a true rehash. The scavenger hunt is gone, the meta events are gone, too. Just not the same.

Don’t hurt to wait, I would say thakittens logical for the game to randomly award the contents of the bag AFTER it has been open. Saving a list of the things that you are getting from the bag once you pick it up would not make sense to me and it is honestly bad programming.

When I type /age both character and account say 12 months, yet I haven’t received the gifts. They are probably sending in waves.
Once again I raise the issue of Aether’s placement on female Norn ranger. It sits too high and should be moved a little to the left.
The choice of arena does make a difference in where you are placed in there and where the mines start. Some arenas I have the same view as you, but others I can see him just fine. Try switching arenas and see if that helps
I see people easily farm this boss all day, but meanwhile I had the hardest time beating him on my necromancer (because we don’t have invincibility skills)…. ughhh…..
Yes, there clearly is a balance issue here. For some classes this boss is just way too easy to farm, while for others he is way too difficult in comparison.
Riiiight. You have fear and blinds to stop his OHKO. Death Shroud can also be used to mitigate an OHKO.
Necroes have no problem farming Deadeye either with Zerker gear dagger/dagger, Spectral Grasp and either Wells or Minions. With minions you come out even better than warriors and guardians in farming efficiency since you don’t have to wait for cooldowns.
Just because you fail to see alternative builds doesn’t mean there’s a class balance issue.
You’re so horribly misinformed/ignorant of the Necromancer. For starters, the shot goes through our Death Shroud and kills us, even if it’s at full – @Anet, thanks for the unnecessary nerf.
I personally took this guy out in 2 tries on CondiMancer, with no gambits. The first thing I noticed on my first attempt was my Flesh Golem taking aggro and dying instantly pls tell me all about how minions are supposed to help us.
Fearing him is completely counter productive, I shouldn’t have to explain why.Our DPS would be considerably lower if we take utilities to help us survive, rather than damage utilities. Taking Grasp is a waste because our DPS wouldn’t be fast enough anyway, we can Dark Path, once and that’s assuming we still have LF to DS. Going full zerk would kitten our already horrible survivability against Deadeye with such a build.
Just because you’re probably kitten because you died to an overpowered build in sPvP doesn’t mean we’re not totally kitten in other areas of the game due to design flaws .
I do fine with 4 gambits on a conditionmancer and it’s about as fast as thief. I use my current gear and traits. shrugs
Even in the game, people protest because their candidate didn’t win the election and here I am thought that I have escaped the insanity of real life.
Honestly, I think “petition” is a better term than “protest” in this instance.
This is why we petition Anet for a full dungeon experience or a full living story. They had an idea and a good one from what they said. They’d be fools not to do something with that.

The build I saw was a totally legitimate build which I had considered using months previously in an unrelated event.
The boss is a totally legitimate boss designed exactly the way ANet wanted to design him.
If it turns out there was an oversight on their part and it’s super easy to kill him using the Traits/Classes they provided, I don’t think that’s an exploit.
Even if you were to use this method of killing him fast to farm him all day long, ANet made no attempt to limit how often you can repeat a boss. They set the boss health, they set the traits, they set the drop rates. This isn’t some programming typo like when they set a karma item price way too low at launch and loads of people exploited it.
This. If this is considered an exploit then CoF P1 speedruns should have also, but no one was banned they just nerfed it.

Not sure as a warrior, but as a ranger Rampage as One gives you 20s of stability. I used Point Blank and Concussion shot to interrupt/stun and used wolf to KD. Worked pretty well. I’d like to try with warrior, so looking forward to hearing answers. Good luck!

If you are a necro, they were refunded because of the change in the Greater Marks trait.
When you are in a dungeon or fractals and the build happens you get 3 hours to finish before the game forces you off, unlike in the open world where you have 3 minutes. That’s what we’re talking about.
Edit: it actually happened 10 mins after we got the 3 hour warning.
Downtime I have no problem with, it’s expected. To be told you have 3 hours to finish then get kicked 10 mins later? That’s just frustrating.
The placement of Aether when sheathed is too high on the shoulder. I believe Azureflame does this also.
Yes, I hv different build for different weapons, If I change weapon I just pay to NPC and assign the whole trait again. I don’t mind pay, but I want to do it effectively. May be system would store the traits as trait 1 / 2 / 3 / 4, then player consume an item to allow them select different trait. And this re-trait item sold from NPC for a few silver?

You didn’t just ask for a trait-build system like most short-sighted folks do.
You took into account the fact ANet wants trait-setting to be a gold-sink, and came up with a nice alternative.—
In addition to letting us save builds, restrict switching between builds to an item that is exclusively sold by Profession Trainers.
The cost should exceed the current cost to reset all 70 traits, because it’s more convenient then going to the trainer.
I agree. I love this idea and I’d have no problem paying a little more silver for the convenience.
