I don’t know about the place op mentioned. But I’m sick of red always trebing from overlook. so unfair being able to treb in almost perfect safety.

I don’t see why people think D/P is going to be dead. Sure, you won’t be able to really perma stealth anymore, but if you are going to be actively fighting somebody, I doubt you would anyways

9 init, 7 if traited to stealth vs. 5 init or 3 if traited.

I will try to use D/P after patch, but if it doesn’t work I quit because D/D is even more broken.

D/P wasn’t made for constant stealth, It’s more for blind. I personally played D/P very effectively (PvE/WvW) without ever even knowing about the stealth exploit. You just have to play with the traits. I run D/D now, and I don’t know how you think it’s more broken. The stealth is achieved by contact with the enemy and can miss very easily. There is no risk with D/P exploit.

Hey I got an idea. Why don’t we just remove thieves all together. I mean we are going to take away all that the thief is essentially anyway, why not. In fact why don’t we just remove all profession’s besides warriors. That way we can all have a fair, equal balance, hammer swinging serenity. I know i’m being dramatic, but you know what they say, “When in Rome”

This has been suggested. Many times. You could find a thread for in within five pages of this forum at any given time. You didn’t search very hard.

But i still agree that a pet slot in the hero panel needs to happen.

That’s how I had to get them anyway. Pretty sure I got my warrior’s on a server that had the event done already.

Actually when i did it as a thief, about a month ago, it saw through my stealth ever time and killed me instantly. I don’t really know if that was a bug or this champion just has this ability. I didn’t think about using the thieves guild at the time, but it probably would have one shot them as well.

yes to dueling and a check box with “deny duels” option. Also no dueling in cities.

Hell no to inspect gear, i don’t want some elitist judging me.

If you see someone in a 1v1 fight, you should always help your teammates. If they call you out for interrupting, well tough kitties. they should have joined one of the 100s of empty spvp servers. I always expect my teammates to help me in a fight.

Removing the (un)holy trinity is the whole reason why GW is better. I don’t agree with op, but I don’t agree that CC needs more of an impact in this game. The whole reason i stop playing WoW and ToR is because PvP revolved around being CCd to death. It’s no fun when my entire battle is fixed around standing in one spot, using a stun breaker only to get stunned again, then waiting to die hopelessly. CC is good in this game the way it is.

I swear, I am going to spam these forums until either I am banned or these runes get taken out/nerfed hardcore. It’s to easy for people to abuse by engineers.

Man I just posted about this very thing 5 min ago on another thread. I for one would love to see more duelist or human cultural tier 3 styled sets for medium armor. It doesn’t even have to be skimpy, just feminine at least. I’m tired of my character looking awkwardly encumbered by their gear. I do kinda like the cash shop skins they have added lately although one did still have a trench coat theme I thought its pleated mini skirt and tighter waist made it at least look feminine.

I have to respectfully disagree with you there. anet puts all their attention on female armor while the male armor suffers. As a male player that actually roles a male character, I want to see less feminine male gear. I’m tired of seeing armor with one sleeve or shoulder, and ridiculous head gear. I like the heavy armor more, but sadly I cannot wear it with my chosen profession.

ok, I’ve figured out my problem. It’s not a bug. I didn’t realize leaving the field before the 4 seconds are done would cancel the stealth and I was getting pushed out of it. Though I don’t understand why thieves can’t keep the stealth they have accumulated. Still learning things about this game. Thanks

I’m having an issue with my thief when I use shadows refuge. I watch the stealth buff build up to 15 secs, but i’m still taking hits from enemy aoe. Then as soon as i leave the field where the refuge was at my stealth suddenly disappears leaving me completely exposed. Unless there is an ability that breaks stealth that i don’t know about (and i do know about the arrow cart one, but that’s not it).

complaining about having 2 legendaries = First world problems

I’m just kiddin. I’m just envious that i don’t have the time or patience to build one legendary.

Well you have a red bar underneath your skill telling you if you are in range or not. It could be highlighted in a way so it is easier to see though, it’s rather hard right now. But it is already in the game

I actually did not know about that. Thank you for clearing that up. Still though I would like for better measurement system.

This is a great idea, but like dietpepsi said, charr ritual dance doesn’t make much sense. Fantastic idea though.

Let me first start off by saying that I think your range is way off, but then again it’s hard to tell because I don’t have a good scale of measurement when it comes to 900 inches.

I don’t know how everyone else feels about the range in this game, but I feel as though it could be a lot simpler to determine by using meters/yards/feet. So i propose a change to the scale, without changing any weapon/skill range.

Flying mounts would be dumb. The whole world is made of jumping puzzles and reaching hard to reach places (IE Vistas).

I was so lost with the TMNT reference for a minute. But I agree, I rarely find an armor set that looks awesome in this game.

I want to find a guild that is active and does weekly guild missions, PvE, and even WvW. Prefer one on Teamspeak.

like i said, I type these words to vent. It’s just a rant, nothing more. I had a situation where 4 people attacked and killed me legitimately, but then they danced around my corpse like they were hardcore. I just wanted to be able to tell them how noobish they were acting. It doesn’t matter anymore.

I needed to post this for my own solace. I don’t understand why, in WvW, I can’t talk trash to the enemy team when they can dance on my corpse.

Just a rant, and now i’m over it.
