Well I can see you disagree so just don’t stow your pet, it’s simple. Everyone done it in GW1, some used some didn’t, it was a matter of choice, this game so far has great choice class for class, I just recommend ArenaNet to allow the pet stay Stowed, then give buffs in certain masteries to make up for the 10% of lost damage, it’s not hard

Ranger damage is balanced around having a pet out and about, so you’re only crippling yourself by trying to leave it stowed.

The pet’s are no where near 50% damage, I don’t spec in them so it’s like 10-15% pet dmg, and there only good for situational buffs.

I love the ranger, but sometimes pets are annoying. So I ‘stow’ them. Only to find out they automatically re-appear the moment I’m in combat again. Please make it so they STAY stowed because it’s so annoying. I see no problem with this, make it happen ArenaNet, you done it for GW1 this is no different.

Hey and thanks for the comment. And yes I noticed there were part’s of the video where it felt slow, but take this video as an Introduction of things to come, your feedback and others have let me know of things to improve in the next video.

And yes, I wanted to get a range of weapons used, even me using that Scorpion Wire at the end to Interrupt the guardian and save a team mate, which not many use Scorpion Wire so I figured I will mix and match, and will continue to do so. But yes, Like+sub!

DAOC was more garbage than runescape.

I bought a new graphics card, the one I had before was some old ATI 5500, and with that I could play with Medium and some high, and it would be around 25-30 fps. Now that I have a ATI 6770, it is still the same fps same settings, wtf? Is this game ever going to get optimized ?

What do you mean there are no tanks, I didn’t say I was a Tank I said I built very tanky as it seems to help in PvP. what is it with some people so fixed on herrr there are no tanks. I guess Warriors/Gaurdians/Necro (with right build) don’t have more survivability, better toughness, and hp, in short, MORE TANKY, than thief/elem right?

First off saying get condition removal is all good but when warrior have only 1, and other proffesions can just auto atatck and stack bleeds, that also rules out the other guy saying learn to dodge, ok, I dodge 2 attacks, endurance is empty, they use another auto attack, and here come the conditions. seems this game only favors range.

I play Warrior in PvP. Have a Hammer build with full Toughness/Vitality with Regeneration runes, so I’m extremely tanky, and have a lot of CC with the Hammer. So I go charge up front like a warrior is supposed to do, and after a while I just end up dieing all the time, and it’s always the same on death log some bullkitten like ‘172 hits. bleeding 15000 dmg’

wtf? how am I supposed to remove this kitten? Going to give up soon on Melee in PvP

Hello guys, so I have been juggling between all the professions since the 3 day headstart, and I have not even left queensdale yet lol, but I am loving it though. I have to say I have narrowed it down to these 3, I guess I just want peoples opinions to help me push to a single decision. Now a bit about me, I have always played the assassin class in previous games, and been a very competent player, especially in PvP. I was defintley hardcore, but have calmed down a little, but still enjoy an ‘Aggressive’ playstyle meaning, I do not like supporting.

Hello, so I’m doing a project right now. This is a great game where you really feel part of it and inside the game, now imagine yourself living back in them times, your just an ordinary citizen, so;

For Girls: Who would you fall for?
For Guys: Who would you say you your most like?

A) This character has seen it all, and been through more than you may think. He don’t trust anyone that isn’t close to him, and is usually the aggressive type, not afraid to speak his mind. He is full of confidence, a natural leader, although his ego can get him in trouble.

B) This mysterious character hides his face under a hood, wearing his longcoat he journeys where others fear to go. He is more of an Outlaw, and people aren’t sure of his intentions, but for now, his kitteny and flirty nature entertains those around him, and is considered an ally.

C) This character, is the type to protect those, at all costs, and against anything, fearlessly, even putting there life’s in front of his own. Because of this, many people respect him. He is the strong silent type, but when he speaks, it’s usually wise words.

Nvm I figured it out, you just use the transmuting stone but I was moving the sliders wrong, it does work thanks.

what transmutations stones are you using? and what is your gear?

Basic transmuting stones and my gear is the starter gear, I merged that with Krytan Armor, and am now trying to merge it with level 14 gear.

I think I know the problem here… Gem store armor works like the heritage armor, you just double click and drag the armor who’s stats you want into the armor. Transmutation stones work differently, as someone alluded to.
Just for you the OP, let me explain how it works with stones: After you have each piece on each side of the transmutation GUI you have to click each row individually to select which choice you want, after you do that for each row the button at the bottom should no longer be grayed out and everything should work then.

After you transmuted your starter set based on the Krytan armor set’s appearance, you can now transmute your new set based on the starter’s set appearance (which it should have inherited from the Krytan one).

If that doesn’t work, that’s a bug, and I’d contact ArenaNet.

Yes I tried this, even tried putting the Krytan armor on the left or right side, and there both obviously medium set it’s not like I’m trying to cross it, and the button to confirm just stays greyed out.

I paid for the Gem Store Armor ‘Krytan Set’ and used it on my new character. Now that he’s level 14, I finally bought a new armor set. Now how am I supposed to reuse my Krytan Armor set? I tried to tansmute, don’t work. If I have to pay again this is hilarious joke ArenaNet. Why isn’t it like GW where some guy just hands them out to you after you paid for it. Is this a bug or something because I ain’t buying it again lmao

Transmutation, iirc, is a one way process and once you transmute something you can’t untransmute it and use the transmuted items to transmute another item. Does that make sense?

Not really but your telling me I have to pay again for another set? Because if so that’s stupid!!! Why isn’t it like it was in original GW where some guy just gives you it after you paid for it, it’s the same price.

I bought the Krytan armor set from gem store, and used it on my new character starter set armor. Now that I’m higher level I bought a new armor set the level 14 masterwork, I try use transmuting stone and it don’t work. Hello, I’m currently playing and although I can max all graphics, it does drop to around 15 fps. However I can play with everyone on medium on a 1980×1080 Moniter at about 25-30 fps.
I’m Using

[AMD Anthlon X2 Dual core 3.1 Ghz or something.
My ram is 2G.
My graphics card is ATI Radeon 5500.]

I plan on buying the Ati 6770, will this be a huge help and would I be able to run the game pretty much perfect? Also not to worry about ram I have like Smartram / Gamebooster running giving me 1.6 before the game opens.

Lol why is there even a discussion on this topic. Everything Greatsword can do the 1hander can do better. t’s auto attack is laughable, and who cares it has an interupt and a dodge on the 3rd auto attack. 1H sword has an escape to, not to mention you can couple that with Horn or something else to have even more flexibility.

1H Sword does more damage than a Greatsword? WTF?
