Traits like this, that improve yet simplify the class.

Simplifying the class screams incompetence.

New elite : Omnielemental Meltdown

PBAoE pull+cripple 2000 radius 4s channeling, once channel is over 2000 radius instadown everything, elementalist goes to the nearest uncontested waypoint.

Oh also the animation makes anyone who isn’t on Best-Performance to lag uncontrollably for 30 seconds.

Also now ether renewal is an arcane healing skill that gives stability and protection as it channels, both are unstealable and undispelable. 5 points into arcane.

Elementalist/Ranger/Engi easier to play.

Except that toggling to a fgs would make endless qq threads about the elementalists zipping around like warriors on steroids, thus nerfing the said fgs to oblivion.

A stretch would be mobility skills like the sanctum sprint or/and aspect arena.
Tbh if they ever add any weapons I’m fully expecting a variant of those.

“Jump” in FF4/5 were pretty cool indeed.

Kodiak’s post is actually refreshing, and should remind you that eventually every such discussion devolves to aesthetics as XelNigma demonstrated.

I still believe that even suggesting a drastic core change involving attunement scrapping is borderline idiotic and begs for a “LoL scrub war forum that way —-→”.

But hey, feel free to drone on about it, not like it will have any impact.

The stunbreaker on earth is a bit too much, perhaps some stability (merging with rock solid).
Also evasive arcana along with the attunement active reset and cdr might make some far too spammy combos even for ele.

Mind clearing the clutter a bit?
Mentioning traits that don’t actually change is making this a bit of tl;dr.
Also tricker = trigger, courses = causes.

On to the matter at hand, this attunement switching//activation seems a bit excessive when it comes to earth, even tho reflection is quite clutch by nature.
Other attunement effects need more detail about them.

Air training’s description is vague, as there is no indirect or direct spell descriptor anywhere in the game.

What happens to evasive arcana?

Weapon cd reduction is a nice idea even though 30% is too much.

Fresh air might be better off with an ICD clause instead of a crit-based.

Arcane lightning is a follow-up perk as the arcane blast for example lands I assume, that would help with hapless warriors or w/e whining about non-telegraphed hits according to the current fresh air trend, however on arcane power it could get rather ridiculous. (Scepter air 3+arcane power.)

Why even discuss the class if you can’t grasp the basic attunement mechanic?
It’s what makes and breaks it, but that doesn’t mean scrapping THE VERY CORE of the profession will be productive, if anything, it would only repel people who actually enjoy its “complexity”, if you will.
