I’ll wager you 100 gold that I can bring you Ranger down as a Warrior, and you won’t even get me below half health.

The “only” way you’ll get me to half health is spec for the Rangers 6 second immunity.

I’ve done it… almost… Ive downed a ton of warriors 1v1 in TPvP on my Ranger. But they always kill me instantly after. They use Vengeance and its GG. I dont think Rangers should be big damage, but Damage + control. Yes we still need a massive Damage buff. But not as much as a Warrior. A Warrior is a predictable front line solider, even with a Rifle. I’d see a ranger making a warrior trip then giving him a nasty bunch of arrows in the back of the head. Or in PvE crippling a stray mob then resuming DPS. ect.

We should outmaneuver and assume control, then deal serious damage. But not as much as Wars. But a LOT more then now.

Well, I wanted to shot arrowz and have a pet that dosent afraid of anything.

A master of nature, and the earth itself. A Primal hunter and his loyal Flock/Pack/Whatever. Who not only Works as a team with his pet but also knows the land and uses it to his advantage. Oh, and a Archer archtype.

It confirms that the developers recognize the ranger has issues, and are working on them. You want patchnotes? Wait 5 days and see them for yourself.

Actually it only confirms that they’ll fix some of the utilities at best… Nothing more.
Not a single word mentioning about pets being useless in dgn, pvp and wvw, and not a single word mentioning about some weapons being underpowered…

According to the Anet I see for last 2 months, there would not be any miracle out there to save ranger. The more you expect, the more you will be disappointed. According to developtor’s post, they do not seem to recognize the real problem ranger faces….

Im pretty sure the speed stacks yes, on my Ele in Beta I was able to reach pretty high speeds (+66% with Swiftness added) but there is a cap somewhere along the line.
