Fury on the player does not affect illusion crit chance, unless that got changed in this patch too.

I’ve done a little testing before with fury and it does not transfer to phantasms. I’d only used about 50-100 hits IIRC. Not a huge sample, but 20% is a pretty big difference.

Might transfers, but might on the phantasms themselves do not affect their damage.

Slightly off topic, precision from sigil stacks transfer. Phantasms also seem to have a weird 4% crit more than your character (this one had a few hundred samples). I’m guessing they have a base 4% similar to what you have with base 916 precision.

Just noticed these with the sPvP golems:
- sharper images can last longer than 5s now with condition duration
- phantasmal healing(regen) can last more than 3s per proc now with boon duration. Previously your regen would refresh right as it ran out, now it builds up

I think illusions now benefit from condition/boon duration.

The problem with making sword#3 spawn a clone next to the target like scepter/focus/GS is the interaction with portal. Mesmers won’t be trying to pull you off walls anymore; instead we’ll stand below walls, then wait for some unsuspecting guy to walk too near the edge and do a iLeap->swap->portal. Even cannons/oil can be used for this.

With luck, mirror blade can also spawn your clone beside a target that has just walked through a tower/keep door. If the same bug happens iLeap clones you’ll see mesmers spamming their iLeaps at people trying to duck into towers, hoping to get lucky.

The 2nd part of the chain (swap) would need a LoS-to-clone requirement added and even that might not be enough. All walls would probably have to be made taller.

It really sucks that our only melee weapon has such a crippling (hurr) bug, but I’d rather not have a much bigger problem.

I have the same problems, culminating in this latest patch where I was totally unable to start gw2 even straight after a reboot, for several attempts.

Try renaming(to backup) local.dat in your gw2 directory. I read that it was just a cache/settings file that would be rebuilt.
I could start gw2 again after doing so, with the minor inconvenience of having to reenter the login info(if saved), and redoing graphics/sound settings (2nd and 3rd tab). Hotkeys and general options (1st and 4th tab)were somehow left intact.

The 2s reflect on Mirror is just a tooltip clarification. Before the patch you can see the buff lasting for 2s, and mousing over it shows 1s meaning [1-2) seconds, for a good second. If Mirror had really given only 1s reflection prior to the patch, the buff would’ve shown 0s from the moment of casting.
If you’ve used Mirror before the patch and found it lacking, I doubt your experience would change because the tooltip said so.

In regards to IP – Unless you plan to be melee, it’s actually kind of counter-productive for shattering mesmers who like to stay somewhat at range. Since you count as a clone, your other illusions deal less damage individually. So unless you’re in range immediately when you shatter, your overall damage goes down due to your ‘shatter’ missing.

IP does not count the player when determining the damage per illusion for mind wrack, so the damage centred on yourself is free.

Also, 30% shredding recharge rate apparently gives you 77%(1/1.3) instead of 70% recharge duration.

Illusionary counter (scepter #2) still does not benefit from malicious sorcery (scepter -20% recharge).

Since illusionary riposte (sword #4) has been fixed to benefit from blade training (sword -20% recharge), I guess the scepter was just overlooked.

Neither benefits from illusionist’s celerity (illusion skills -20% recharge) even though the tooltips show the recharge reduction.
