Is there any kind of perma sprint ability? I’m not seeing much in the way of speed boosts for the mesmer.

So, i’m “safely” tucked away out of most AoE’s reach/range on a arrow cart, pummeling my opponents with annoying arrow fire. Then a phantasm appears on me. I ignore it…. then a moment later there’s a 2nd and i realize…. ummm, i can’t ignore the dmg any longer. I shoot the phantasm(s) and now a 3rd pops up. They’re actually hitting quite hard. I managed to just barely kill them. But curious, what build is this?

I like Mortar man, it needs more range but isn’t as awful as most folks say it is. I use it more for it’s utilities than dmg. When Im running around solo, I go with Crate, but siegecraft and zerg stuff I have Mortar equipped. It’s got a real nice aoe heal, aoe cripple to it that are great as well. It’s also an attention magnet i’ve found. The enemy goes bonkers every time they see it..sometimes stupidly so. “MOOOORTAR!!!! GET IT!!!”, and I just grin as they hobble their way to me. They close range and I give up the shotgun to the face treatment. Love it.

Yeah, i play a Engi, this is what i noticied. I was chasing down a thief , he rounded a corner (i was running Speedy Kits) and when we rounded the corner he had put a ridiculous amount of space between us.

Does anyone have a passive signet like ability like thieves that constantly grants 25% speed boost?

I’m thinking it’s probably thief? Looking to run supplies where they are needed and out run folks when the kitten hits the fan so to say.

Was toying around with another engieer’s mortar tonight and really needs some range/dmg. At this point I doubt ill sink 30 sp into it. Would be cool to have a spread shot with it, that gives a nice “Whoop whoop whoop” and fires 3 shots out at once.

I LOVE this idea. Please ANet, make it so.

This seriously needs to be implemented. Make the extra skills/ranks WvW oriented and can only be used in WvW. Even if it’s stuff like “Carry Extra Supply”, or banners that when held apply a ground run buff , etc… ANet, you guys have almost got it, but you NEED a system in WvW like this.
