No representation requirement at all. You rep us whenever you feel like it. You want to run with some other guild? Knock yourself out. The thing is I am happy with my guilds but there are times where I’m the only one online playing during late server hours.

I thought why not try to create a guild where fellow players with similar dilemma can rep us and find people to do stuff with whenever their primary guild rosters are quiet.

Hello! After so many attempts to find that ideal guild filled with people who tend to get online during late hours server time, I decided to try my hand at creating a guild targeting those players.

Purpose
First of all, there is absolutely no requirement to represent at all! The objective of the guild is to create a space where you know you can find 20+ players who are likely to be on during same time as you. If you want to make this guild your permanent home, that’s cool. If you prefer to stay in your original guild or whatnot and represent us whenever you want to hang out with folks and it’s lonely in your guild, that’s good too!

The Kitchen Sink and everything else
As long you observe Anet’s ToS and Rules of Conduct, anything goes! This is a mature and adult oriented guild so do expect interesting subjects to come up across the guild chat channel. Moderate profanity is acceptable. Do not be misled, this is not “no hold barred” type of situation, you are still expected to observe basic social decorum and refrain from being offensive to your fellow guildmates and players in general.

As for voice communication, I am Deaf so I have absolutely no use for voice clients. I have no problem with anybody setting up one for the guild and will add the information here if that happens. All I ask is please do take time to type in the guild chat from time to time since I cannot participate in the voice channel.

Currently, the guild is based in Crystal Desert server but this could change. There is no requirement for you to transfer to wherever the guild is based. However if you want to participate in and benefit from guild activities, you may want to consider transferring servers. If you just want a guild active during your playing timed when your primary guild roster is inactive and nothing more, that works for us too!

A bit about myself – I’m 36 years old who is married and have an adorable infant daughter. I also have a full-time career. So do not expect me to be online every single second of the day. I am hoping to recruit similar players who have busy lives but at same time want to have fun. This is exactly why I am creating this guild in hope to attract players who tend to log in during roughly same time frame so we know there’s that guild where we can switch to for company should our main guilds’ rosters are empty when we are on.

As the guild grows, I have intentions of finding people to help maintain it. This means officers and I am absolutely open to the idea of several guild leaders working together. We will see how things go and guild members definitely will have a voice in where the guild will go regarding guild leadership.

As for representing, again I stress there is no mandatory representation, not even a percentage of your time. However if the guild roster somehow swells and we need to make room, it’s possible people who join but never represent at all will be removed from the roster. As for your influence points earned during your time of representation, I hope to use those to gain access to guild activities so we can do those together and you can earn guild commendations.

I am excited but at same time I’m like oh no I will never have time to progress on my characters story-wise. I haven’t even finished the game!

GW2 staff said if we were to like GW2 page on Facebook (which I did despite how much I abhor FB) we will receive an item and an achievement.

My question is how will they know which account to “reward”? After all my game login email address isn’t the same one I am using for Facebook.

That’s understandable and while I do want to wvw someday, I am more focused on pve right now.

What type of attribute set up do you recommend for thieves’ armor?

Lately it seems most ppl recommend berserker. And I know probably ideally we should have different armor sets but for now what is good or recommended for ‘overall’ set to obtain then I will worry about secondary sets for more specific situations.

I’m primarily a pve player so if that makes any difference…

Feel free to comment on second sets as well as WvW sets but my goal here is the primary set for overall pve play.

Update 2: I clicked on compatibility with XP Service Pak 3 in the client’s properities which felt strange since I was running Windows 7. It seems to be working okay and I get to download the entire game now – yippeeee!

When I fired up my client, it started downloading stuff, likely new Aetherblades content, the computer crashed. After restarting the computer, everytime I open the client, I get this error notification window. There’ s no option to skip and everytime I “send” to Anet, it automatically closes down the client.

I’ve tried restarting the computer twice to no avail. Any suggestions?

Aside from reinstalling the client – eep.

UPDATE: I uninstalled the client then when I installed it back on the cpu, it stopped and the same error window popped up.

Hi, I’m looking for a guild which has an active playerbase for during my playing times which is late PST (10pm to 2am -8 GMT).

While I do want to play WvW at a point, I’m more of focused on PvE right now so I am not suited for guilds who expect their players to play a lot of WvW.

I’m a 36 years old working professional with a kid so I probably will fit in a guild whose players are of similar background.

Guilds who know how to have fun, how to fail spectacularly and laugh about it, not necessarily prude in its conduct toward each other yet know how to treat each other with respect would be ideal for me.

Here’s my fishing hook and lure in the water, lets see what I get.

Oh by the way, I am open to the possibility of changing servers especially if its population are active when I am usually on.

I’m looking into the possibility of transferring to a server more friendly toward my playing times. I tend to play pretty late, about 10pm to 2am PST.

I’m a PvX player but the primary reason I am considering a transfer is because it’s not easy to find people to do PvE content such as dungeons those days.
