Folk’s need to learn to stop playing for the scoreboard. It makes sense in a close match, but when you face a zerg server with night time population imbalance, you really have to shift gears and just play for the fights. Every fight/battle is as fun as it would be regardless of what the score is on the scoreboard, so just ignore it.
Granted you need to change your tactics and be more prepared when facing a sea of zerglets, but consider it a lesson in being organized.
Also I find the whole idea of playing for second place to be, well idiotic. I would rather come in last place, but had a great time all week double teaming a zerg server, then come in second place.
Fighting while extremely undermanned against foes with 3 orbs doesn’t make for fun fights. A change in tactics makes little difference in that instance. And I image the patience people have for such runs thin quickly.
Additionally, double teaming a “zerg server” sounds great, but that’s just not how the mass psychology works in practice.
Looks like it’s already over.
