What makes the matchup interesting is the blatant hate each server has for each other, specifically for FA.

Hate? That’s a pretty strong word.

If anything, I feel more of a competitive sense from TC and YB, atleast towards our group. I haven’t seen/heard of anyone “hating” anyone.

Would definitely be interesting to see a rematch next week, and it sounds like it may happen.

As for all the talk about emote spamming and what not – I don’t really like all the laugh spamz either. I usually just wave, and if it was a good and/or challenging fight, I’ll do a /bow.

In the same respect, I had some pretty mad thieves message me before as well. So I guess it goes both ways.

But, If I had to choose, I would have rather had kept it, I can take the ragers if I can meet some pretty cool people from other servers. I’ve even been complimented from another server as well.

I think I just met one of the D/D Eles you guys are talking about. Female human who was a commander…guild tag was Defenders of Aspenwood or something. kitten was she just unkillable. I was playing a class I have little experience with (and bad gear) but she basically soloed a few of us easily. :\

You should be manning siege equipment anyway. Arrow Carts/Ballistas will do more for your defense then trying to hit people with your aoe from on top of the wall.

I have never seen a server whine as much while winning as Yaks Bend is. I just read the thread in one shot and uh…it’s pretty jarring. There are repeated very angry assertions of hacking directed at FA by furious Yaks Bend members…and each and every one has been shown to not be a hack at all but rather a (what I thought was rather common) specific build or tactic.

A cnd thief got called a hacker. A d/d elementalist got called a hacker. People who used portal bombs got called hackers. People who used the report function to message people on other servers got called hackers.

I heard from a warrior who streams on twitch on YB that people around him were calling me a hacker for using the Elementalist elite skill, Tornado, to knock them around. He laughed and called them all bad, but, still, its like everything is a “hack” to everyone these days. If you lose, they must be hacking!

Hey Bit! Haven’t seen you online in a while man…

My question is this (Please keep in mind I am broke and have yet to find a way to make money in this game)

What gear should I be using and how do I obtain it?

I went your spec with my Priory set and didn’t see the same stats you had going for you, then I went to use the same sigils and they are 4g a piece, which in turn made me curl up in a ball and cry myself to sleep.

What weapons?

What is your normal damage rotation?

I use the stats on the Invader’s Daggers that I transmuted onto “Corrupted Shard”

As for a good combo, something like, RTL → updraft → Burning Speed → Ring of Fire is a good opening, you can either then switch to earth to do a EQ → Churning Earth(which nets you LOADS of might stacks in the flame area) or do Drake’s Breath + Fire Grab.

The Fiery Greatsword is good for one thing and for one thing only; using 2 or 3 charges of the 3 and 4 abilities to move around the map quickly while waiting for RTL to come off CD. ._.

Think I banked around like 40 badges of honor from the insanely long fight at EB Lowlands.

Watched your video abit.. Great Watch first of all.. Just curious what gear are you running with? And coupled with what Runes? I watched the Dragon something, watching from phone so its Hard see noticed that you had around 23k HP but was that due to keep buffs ? Thanks for a great Watch! After they stripped the orb bonuses, with food I had 22k hp, but that was with a pretty large robust health % buff, so I think my real max hp is around like 21.5k. We had a couple orbs in the videos I uploaded recently. With 3 orbs I can hit almost 27k hp, it was pretty crazy and I’m pretty glad they removed the orb bonuses(atleast for now, I DO like having a big objective on the BL’s to work towards, as I’m a DAoC vet and the Relics were the biggest thing to go for, for sure)

I’m making a video today after I get some sleep that will go over my spec/armor/runes/etc.

Maybe in two weeks time we’ll clash once more, just maybe…

Hello everyone!

Above are the links to my livestream on twitch, and my youtube channel. While it’s not super crazy/highly watched, I figured I would atleast make a thread dedicated to my channel and stream to get the word out to atleast some up and coming Elementalists who are interested in World v World. I welcome all imput, positive and negative, and usually respond to any emails/comments made on my videos.

I’m a current Commander on the Fort Aspenwood server(which I NEVER plan to transfer from), and I stream my gameplay on twitch.tv when I do play(most of the time!) I take any cool/interesting clips from my twitch channel and export them to my youtube(which also doubles for any other games I play, League of Legends, Starcraft 2, anything else random).
