Nope, only works for miscellaneous items. Just report it in game as a bug. Because after 6 months, lets be honest, its either a bug, or arena net really do hate pvp… oh wait…

It honestly cannot be that hard to juts allow the slots to hold more than one of the same item… Seriously like its in the game already… we have multiple dust and orbs but I can’t save dual pistols for my thieves or engi or ranger or w/e?

There is still a problem with absurd survivability for a game based on capture points. I have played all the classes for a while in pvp and when someone can out-heal even a damage glass cannon build, its not balanced by definition. If someone, like an ele or guardian or necro or thief or ranger ect, puts most points into survivability – toughness, vitality, and healing – they should not be able to out-heal damage 1 on 1. If this happens, then Areanet is going to get a game where everyone runs in kitten circles permahealing. There will be no action and the game will get boring because deviations from those builds are just useless. That’s the way serious pvp is going right now. The game will get more and more boring and I’m sure it is getting obvious to people right now. Not being able to cap a point, and many times even dying, because of “bunker” builds who just soak up damage, heal and repeat, is becoming the norm.

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. 1v1 yes, 2v1 no. They need a nerf but not to the extent to say nothing can take my damage output.

Then the game will have 2v2s and 1v1s where no one will die and people will just run around in circles. As it stands, most sPVP contains some cooperation where there are 4 heavy tank classes and 1 damage dealing roamer in an attempt to lobside fights like 2v1 or 3v2. I am saying that if survivability out-classes damage dealing, there is no point to run that roamer because it will end up being ineffective, hence a boring game of constant heals and running in circles where no one dies. Since it is capture points, the game could end up being very boring. If there is only one viable spec, where everything goes into healing, vitality and toughness, then it is just simply boring. I have seen a few interviews from some of Anet’s PVP employees and they have commented that more specs are going to be viable in pvp. So I suppose my comments aren’t even needed. As for my comment being “the dumbest thing you’ve ever heard” that’s just childish and next time don’t impulsively comment. People do that enough and it drowns the forums to where its hard to find people actually having a conversation or saying useful things.

2 months from now and i predict the matches to be 5 guardians versus 5 guardians, which is the epitome of a self balancing game.

guardians have WAY too much survivability. this is a joke, and i expect guardians to get nerfed big time. guardians are near unkillable and in tournaments, you cannot spend precious time 1v1ing a stupid guardian on their point because you will likely never kill him and ur just wasting your time letting the other team win because the guardian will keep it capped.

im lvl 22 in pvp and im bored to death. PURE GLORY GRIND to get to 30 and get good gear, but then wait, i have to grind to 40 and the gear doesnt matter anyway

well this thread went south pretty quickly. dont worry, someone will make guildcraft 3 and argue that some arrangement of professions in pvp take zero skill.

since my first post was deleted…. im going to try to respond in a more proper way i guess…

okay, the thief bar is called initiative. the ability to “spam” is a mechanic to support thief burst damage as their role. it is no atvantage. once a thief runs out of initative, they have almost no damage because they can only auto attack, and are forced to run or die. “thieves who never seem to run out of that bar (i don’t know what its called)” this makes it clear that you are not very familiar with this game. before calling it “a horrible advantage”, you should play all the classes and become quite familiar before judging an entire profession and calling on areanet to rework a profession.

Dabbled in spvp for a while then gave up in frustration. The class imbalance in this game is just so shocking. Fingers crossed they fix it so spvp can become the e-sport they want and it actually be taken seriously

consider this: you are bad. this is because you barely played spvp with most likely just one class. what is this, wow forums?

hit the nail on the head Jnaathra.

I tried out thief as well, same story. except i spent a little more time learning the class and holy crap. awesome ranged burst (unload), spammable interrupts, heartseeker flying me to target and dropping insane dps, haste + poison+ thieves guild = O.O.O.O.O.O!!!!
And of course when things go wrong, stealth, stealth, teleport, full initiative again and repeat the wtfpwn.

Let’s see that guy with 50% health who has been fighting an epic battle with another class for the past 30 seconds evade my steal + heartseekers. gimme a break. the class is broken. Even my guildie who mains a thief is trying out other classes because he is convinced they will be nerfed into the ground.

hey dude, 1. move out of the way (evade) 2. daze 3. confuse 4. blind. 5. kill them 6. knockdown 7. block if you can 8. invuln, if you can. 9. blinds 10. invis

Do anything, but dont come on here complaining about heartseeker spam if your build doesnt have one of these 10 things.
