^ This. Go to Frostgorge Sound. Same type of mobs that dropped lower tier blood also drop blood in this area along with totems and such.
This is probably true. I was just lumberjacking some Orrian Sapling in Cursed Shore. It wasn’t too far away from another sapling on my map. I was about to head over, but it disappeared from my map. ><
Don’t forget that iMage also adds retaliation. I’ve been experimenting on a hybrid mesmer build that utilizes confusion/retaliation/blocking mechanics. Seeing people blow themselves up is hilarious.
I haven’t had an issue tagging mobs with power/precision/crit build. Just iberserker in the middle of mobs then instantly shatter him once he does his damage. GS #3 => GS#2. All of these attacks probably do about 5-7k damage in the span of 6 seconds. Then just auto-attack mobs you think you didn’t personally deal too much damage on. With GS CD trait, your iberserker is usually ready for the next wave.
I think Mesmer is fine (save that non-stackable swiftness bug). So other classes have greater passive speed generation, but I can live with that. The amount of distractions, stealths, and work-arounds going from point A to point B through dozens of mobs in Orr is just simply great in of itself. I can transverse the Orrian zones with much greater ease then my friend’s thief with 25% movement speed, sometimes avoiding enemies altogether with Blink.
The only times I ever experienced prolonged aggro was when I was doing a great job kiting them and running away. I find that if I just let them hit me (which I do while they are blinded or I have aegis/protection) and escape elsewhere, they drop aggro and go after someone that was actively damaging them. The more I try to not get hit and kite, the longer I hold aggro.
I chatted with Lindsey shortly after posting on Lapu’s original thread in the forum. I also worked on the bugged recipe within that same timeframe and got a Mystic Staff. Lindsey said it would take roughly 2 weeks for the fix to go live, so I’m assuming it’s bound for the 10/8 build. I’ve already been gathering up materials to go for another try at it once the build including the fix goes live.
We can only hope that there is a specific recipe out there that is yet undiscovered for these precursors. This still remains as a possibility, since we haven’t yet uncovered all possible unknown recipes.
Another factor might be in regards to the weapons themselves. Crafted vs non-crafted, all the same greatsword vs. all different, all with sigils, etc. We just don’t have enough data at this point to rule out any of these as influencing factors. Do the people who created precursors without the 65 glitch remember the specific 4 weapons that generated the precursor?
I always just figured that a massive amount of the original Krytan make-up were killed during the tsunami event when Zhaitan rose and Lion’s Arch was suddenly destroyed. The Ascalonian settlement was luckily far to the north to avoid suffering this catastrophe as well. When Divinity’s Reach was established, there probably was more Ascalonian settlers then native Krytans at that point. Is this a reasonable possibility?
Personally, I play so casually on my character that by the time I would actually acquire my first legendary I would have 2 or 3 alts with 100% map completion anyway. It may be more “efficient” with 2 handed weapons, but for players that play multiple alts equally this really isn’t an issue. I’m probably going to do the 100% map completion on my alts and use their karma/gold to help my main get his legendary.
I also view one handed legendary weapons differently. Being able to equip two legendary weapons at the same time gives me the opportunity to feel doubly awesome then if I had just a two-handed weapon.
I do think that one-handed weapons that have the potential of being duel-wielded should come in sets of two, but that’s just me not wanting to do the work again for the same skin.
Perhaps you know the silver/gold ingot recipe from your other profession and that carried over into your artificer?
I did the exact same recipe with the exact same result earlier today!I guess we both wanted to be the first with this recipe today. I have the exact same argument against getting the Mystic Staff as the end product. =(
I already sent in an in-game ticket and a support ticket. However, I was advised to try the official forums. I’ve put up a screenshot of my game log showing that I got a Mystic Staff on GW2guru.
