i was just saying that to make a point. Pick and choose to customize your own 100% build
IMO sigil of earth on main and if your might stacking, use sigil of sup.battle (3 STACKS for a long time every 10seconds)
this is what i get SPVP/TPVP
25 stacks of accuracy from the weapon sigil. Switch to secondary rifle with 5% crit chance on it.
Eagle runes
With fury buff from med kit (100% uptime from a 20point trait)
If the trait did work. Scope (10% crit while standing still)
That’s 114% crit chance right there.
EDIT: Thats 124% crits against targets with less than 50% health

Clicking abilities/Not using elite to stun/Not using Healing skill for any apparent reason/some of the people you 1v1 were just lol.
As to keeping your “custom” build top secret, its been done to death and is no secret to anyone.

You are right to ignore the troll, as a fellow engi i would say your very near the skill cap. Only watched your 3rd vid but the mistakes were very very few.

Its weak is it? tell that to my Honey badger flamethrower engi. Me trying to show some skills etc by trying different build and there goes my flamethrower dealing 10 hits per second ^^ Not cool.
And yes i know i could switch to my weapon set but certain classes have high upkeep of retaliation and i dont like being locked out of using my build’s main weapon just because it attacks every 0.1 second for 110 damage

Although i made it 3/4 of the way through before i stopped, the slowed down game play was bad enough but the reverse camera while slowed down….that just broke me.
Theres a reason why nobody edits there videa’s like this.
As for the game play it was pretty fotm, not saying your bad but i did’nt see any Honey Badger action going on.
Would give your next vid another go though.

Yeah i like the build to be fair, very respectable. Although i would like to say that if you enabled fast ground targeting option it would really speed up those jump shots.

Is this even an issue? If i had engineer turret shooting at me and had 0 ranged abilities to kill it, i would just LOL and move along.
If this is the one post on the engineer forums that actually gets a Dev reply I am going to be a very unhappy camper ^^

Engineer: rifle roamer
yes I play it and yes it is very effective, great survivability with perm swiftness and some crazy burst.
Happens all the time, I use it and one of 4 things happen:
1) They get pulled but only 1/2 way
2) They get pulled to me, but sort of bug out land in behind me then teleport back to the front of me.
3) They get launched 40ft into the air and land infront of me (they dont take falling damage, which imo is a shame)
4) Its works very nice and neatly and they land right in front of me. (rare)
This happening to anyone else? (I just do pvp by the way)
I use rifle pvp for spvp and tpvp. Works very well for me. I love facing people knowing they are thinking…thats engi’s using a rifle!? Underdog is the name i think of when i think of engi.
Although you could achieve slightly better results with other classes, an ele/thief springs to mind.
I agree with you, it begs the question : Why use an engineer?
Oh yeah a bug. Anet are really famous for fixing bugs on time.

Now its been tested and proven by myself that Guardians ‘Binding Blade’ GreatSword ability ignores this block. Although it does block Engineers Magnet pull…
Guess im just confused as to what abilities can be blocked and what cant. (I know that dots currently on target will continue to damage throughout duration of block)

Now when the second step comes (weapon stats to kits), imagine how much more stronger Engis will become!
Right…dont you see a pattern emerging? All engineers were like “its going to be ok, we will get a buff when we get sigils to work with kits!” lol -30% grenade damage to “compensate” for the buff.
Same thing will happan when they apply weapon stat’s to kits. -20% base damage from all kit abilities to “compensate” the buff.
What ever way you look at it a Buff followed by a Nerf is just a slap in the face.

read the small print, they have completely broke phantasm’s. They have said they are going to fix it when they get round to it. Sooooo….Untill then use a shatter build, which pretty much relies on you spawning clones as fast as possible and shattering them just as fast ^^
Agree with most of that. If adding new game modes is too far away then for the love of god fix the scoring system in pvp so it does not encourage zerg fests….very simple, greater win bonus and points per “x” seconds on a friendly node. (Add an in game leech report option)

Just got it again for volunteering for auto balance
Point is m8, when you have 10+ people on a point, all with pets/minons/turrets over lapping etc its becomes a slight pain in the kitten /p>
At the moment all i see in options is “Target next enemy” “Target nearest enemy”
So that means in busy fight i use the target key….
ummm….No i dont want to target your minion
ummm….No i dont want to target your turrets
ummm….I dont care about your pets or elemental
ummm….Im sure your spirits are very nice but no thank you…
Finally get the player targeted!
I most other MMO’s i have played there has been a:
Target nearest enemy
Target nearest enemy player
Target next enemy
Target previous enemy
Am i missing something or just plain crazy?
(Of course that option would not work on Mesmers clones, that would be slightly OP :P)
stuck at loading screen…again…after getting heart seek spammed by 2 thieves in 2 seconds for 20k damage. thanks
Actually…a buff stripping necro would stand a chance i think……
in my view…not really. Even an average player using bunker guardian wont be beaten.
BackStab/Heart seek thieves…..Save all your dodge rolls and stun breakers for them. And no other class.
Only a fool engages a ranger in the open ^^ Line of sight is your friend.
As soon as you see an engineer drop BIG OLD BOMB barrel or a ELE cast the AOE bleed thing, count to 3…then dodge roll and you miss the effect.
(This is one i see a LOT!) DO NOT ENGAGE WARRIORS when they are using their last stand ability, simple run away to the next point/enemy and let them die in 10seconds time (they cant cap points in this state anyway).
Mesmers Illusions never run backwards/sideways or dodge
As soon as you see a Necro drop his AOE wells on floor you might as well stand back and don’t bother to Melee them.
Never bother stomping a thief, just attack them while they are down…you will save time.
The very second you down a warrior start to stomp them….if you are late he will have enough time to hammer stun and use his last stand ability.
If you are ranged and see a Thief using his elite dagger storm…please don’t attack them, your attacks will get reflected

Blows my mind, really does…..still not fixed. Anyone know if this is grounds for refund? I mean if my windows did’nt release updates to fix bugs i think that would call for some kind of action….
Seems to me like this is beyond Jason Kings and the rest of the teams ability to fix.
Time to suck it up, swallow your pride and call in someone from Blizzard to do some freelance work for you.
This should be #1 priority day after patch was launched…..really not understanding what the problem is……

Yup. Got 2 weeks leave just as this bug started…got another week left. Any chance i will be able to enjoy this game before i have to go back to work?

on both sets i use Energy/Minor corruption
*after testing in Spvp and in Mist….Energy sigil only procs on swap if it is on your MAIN hand.
No exactly sure why this is but there you go.
right, after some messing around…looks like it works if the energy sigil weapon is in your main hand only…..will try this in spvp and see if it stops working.
Basically my 2 sets are Dagger/Dagger and Dagger/Dagger
And i have a short bow in my bag for out of combat movement between points.
Now on 1 dagger for each set has energy sigil on it.
But it just stops working sometimes.
I cant work out how to fix it!
And yes i have tried to post this on bug forum, but didnt get anything back.
My whole build depends on having the energy to dodge when needed!
