Oh yes, backstab is the most hard hitting ability. So what? NO other skill in the game has so many prerequisites!!!
1. Stealth (couple of options – commonly used CnD, which has CAST TIME and if the target stays close… well he deserves it)
2. Go behind enemy (not really hard)
3. Pop signed (easy peasy)
4. Hit (i.e. the target must be in range, you must not be blinded, the target must not dodge)
If you hit? Cool awesome! Big crit dmg at least 10k on cloth without tough. And if you fail? At lest 40 seconds CD on the signed – 3 seconds revelead buff 6 initiate less.

I find it pointless in WvW – to kill a single target…. where there are so many others…
So? They are running glass cannon builds and wearing cloth? There is nothing strange about it. With 3.4k attack and +99 crit dmg… ya right no berserker

So you critted some lv 5-10 dude for 20k in berserker gear ? And blowing 150% dmg signet? Wow that should be nerfed. Btw how many stacks for vuln did he have? I love when people just show some random screenshot without any further information.
HIGH dmg numbers will always happen to lowbies. Nothing can change that. Please do the same dmg to LV 80 dude.

It is BETA client. Instead of complaining, please get directX dialog from Windows and its equivalent from MAC (no idea if they have one) and provide them.

Have you played GW2 and claimed something? Yes? Ok go to guild upgrades and please explain me how taking a keep and popping 1-2-3- buffs have no effect.

For the peolpe that already completed that step, when we can expect the updated loot bags to be available for us and how we can obtain them i.e. they will be send via mail or?
Are you using Daze? Stun? Knockback? Pull? Cripple? Chill? Guardian walls? Bubbles?

Still no response but at least the transfers are limited to 24 hours. I would like a 3-4 days no access to WvW after server transfer, eh well at least is something

Omfg so funny and sad at the same time…. Well nothing we can do about it or Anet. They play how they like.
Never seen em, please give pictures. As a matter of fact never seen a group of more than 2-3 people afk in any of the borderlands.
On a side note it is good to have 1-2-3-4-5 people staying in keeps to give early warnnings (won`t menton that the call a zerg a group of 20)
No to the power grind!!!!! Go grind for cosmetics, plenty of options.

Are you aware how many “top”/zerg/small guild are jumping servers constantly? How can something be build when someone is constantly leaving/moving/coming back for free? At least the server hoppers should not be allowed to play WvW for a week!

Why on earth I have increased karma/exp gain while the opposition is in control of 1/2/3 Orbs and getting 50/100/150 in all stats and 15% health increase. Can someone explain me the logic?
If I am outmanned I expect the buff to give something to figh back with. Like 5-10% increase health/dmg/defense or whatever you guys decide that is good.
Currently when some server is outmanned in a zone they don`t get buff they get debuff due to small nubmers and the opossition holdin keeps/orbs etc.
On a side note the ORB bonusses must be re-worked. They are too powerfull esp when the zerg server is holding them.

Come on guys this is getting really annoying people jumping winning servers all the time for bonuses/map completition or just to go along the zerg. This is destroying any server pride and honor that can be achieved. Hell this even ruins any attempts of trying to organize something in /map /team as enemy servers can have easliy spies on the maps.
PLEASE disable the free transfers as soon as possible.
Why bother finishing, keep fighting around them and use aoe. It is easy
This is hardly a nerf. If you the skill properly it will still do tons of dmg. Nice change.
From a health pool of 20 000 7% are 1400 which is one/two autoattacks. Don`t see how this is gamebraking or making a HS bad ability.

And what you are saying is exactly the problem. People don`t know how to counter it properly yet thus they cry that is an OP skill where it is not.
Spamming PW is bad, so I would say no. I use all the skills. Hell the auto-attack on the sword is the best one. Will try tonight D/something for you.

Still you have not made any comments in regards to what I am saying – IT is easy to counter and this is a fact. Thief spamming 222222 will be without initiate pretty quick.

Rangers – traps, chill, countre attack thingy, knockdown (slow,knockdown from pets), oh I almost forgot 1500 RANGE?
Engineers – daze, slow, chill, immobilze, knockback, elexir whatever that shrinks you and makes you invlurnable.
Why not go to guildwrs2 wiki and check each class and skills?

As a thief I press one button to stop any HS spam – Black Powder. Other proffesions have other means to prevent burst dmg for example Warrior – the 5 seconds invul thingy, stomp, immobilze, Guardian – aegis, block next three incoming attacks bubbles, walls, Mesmer – clones, invisibility, walls, daze, daze.
A skill is OP when it cannot be countered. Tell me which profession cannot counter HS?

LDB was nerfed due to the crazy bleed condition stacking, not because people cannot learn to play. There is a huge difference. HS does not apply any condition by itself.

Now if you read my post above you will see why I think the skill is really bad against a player which knows what he is doing. Lets ignore the stealth mechanic as it is broken in many regards (pets still attack/follow you in stealth for example).
If HS is nerfed D/D thiefs will have backstab and nothing else. HS is burst skill that is EASY to avoid/prevent. As I said simple cripple/chill efects cuts the leap distance in half, where immobilez just makes you spammaing HS in the same spot thus loosing initiative.
This is the same as the hundred blades cry. What happened there was peolpe learned to avoid it/play better. Same thing will happen here no worries.
ZLE, how many tournaments have you played? How many of the teams had HS spamming thiefs?
The waypoint cost is fine. The most expensive cost is less then 5 silver and that is from Cursed Shores to Frostgorge Sound. You make 5 silver in less then 10 minutes by just killing mobs not counting any events. 1 silver for teleporting around the same map is fine for lv 80.
Drastone, all AOE buffs/dmg are limited to 5 people (or at least I remember reading something like that on the beta weekend forums). Please tell us how you give 20 people a buff
Thief player here.
No offense to anyone but if you get owned by HS… you should play better. If you don`t have daze/blind/immobilze/knockdown/cripple/chill equiped on you ITS your fault.
For 1v1 HS is weak skill:
1. You don`t have control over your character during the animation.
2. You don`t have control where you are going to land.
3. You take dmg during the animation.
2v1? Any skill is OP. If you got targeted by 2+ thiefs you will die fast if they are running power/precision build and not using a bow.
HS is good ONLY when the other player is distracted fighting someone else and even then there are better thiefs skills if you ask me
When I see a thief doing HS towards me… it is the easiest kill ever
Pro tip cripple/chill makes the HS leap alot shorter in range.
Yes S/P is weak! It is horrible don`t use it! Please more thiefs go D/D in WvW and spam HS all the way, you will kill everything!

The error code I get is:

I get disconnected in every possible zone I have been since the last 2 patches. Before that I had no issues. The most annoying is when I try to play WvW and get disconnected 5 minutes after I waited in a q for more than an hour.
My Internet connection is more then stable.
Ping statistics for 8.8.8.8:
Packets: Sent = 1790, Received = 1788, Lost = 2 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 40ms, Maximum = 85ms, Average = 42msp
No firewall present or program that can block any port.
OS Windows 7 64bit
Please advise if there is something I can do on my end or if you need additional information.
