7pm is our weak spot on VS, but week-end excluded, we are #1 in points past 8:30/9pm, and it’s prime.

After 2 boring weeks its nice to have some Guilds who stay and fight. Not like VS, run back to their Keeps and hide.

Good luck to you all, finally we’ve had funny fights against Deso guilds. This morning, in VS borderland, 3 of us wiped a small group of 10-15 IRON.

I have a hard time believing 3 OSC could wipe 10+ IRON.

Get some optimism in there.

You are way better than anyone if you know how Anet will maintain their game when we are so close to its release.

So far, I’m disappointed in how much W3 content they added/patched, and I’m not the only one, but I’m willing to wait a little more to see what they will do when they decide to focus on it.

I’ll add that I hope Anet devote more ressources to developping this aspect of the game. I think it’s trully how it shines and will keep going in the future.

Of course, there is truth there. But really, I wasn’t playing W3 when VS was the one doing nightcapping, but I would have complained about it then.
Even if it’s that case, it’s even worse because one guild decide to ruin our common fun by playing on the wrong server, ignoring the EU/US barrier.

I still find it weird that people stop complaining when it benefits them.
Anet needs to do something about it. Doesn’t help when you do that !

Canadian guilds are no solution.

1) french-speaking canadians are 100x times less numerous than english speaking americans.

2) they don’t want to play on EU servers. AS had one ([Arma]) for two weeks. They left for numerous reasons.

[ruin] is stuck with PvD. At least they seem to like it.

I played mostly at night last week and this past week-end. Fights are getting less and less interesting.

Tonight, on the AS map, twelve VS players held Green lake for more than an hour against 40+ [ruin]s. In the end, we were 6 or 7 left, and got steamrolled by 4 golems. They took Bay immediately after it.

Boring gameplay.

Seriously, just look at the numbers. It’s getting ridiculous. More and more people are getting tired of W3 altogether because of it.

And no, we are not complaining because we are losing. Just because the only thing being ruined is the fun of W3.

To be honest, the one losing the most are probably the [IRON] guys and every good players on Desolation.
They may well deserve tier 1 and first place because of their skill, but they’ll never get it because of it. It will be behind the shadow of the oh so epic PvDing of [Ruin].

Agreeing with the OP: there is a problem here. And multiple ways to fix it. Please Anet, do it fast.

I’m not worried for the tagged servers specifically. What is going to happen is two or three servers will dominate EU brackets only because they have a US population complementing their primetime presence. Deso already has its place, Blacktide is the runner up.

No challenge. No interesting competition. No shot at 1st place.
For everybody else. Including FR, ES, and DE servers, but also the other english speaking servers, even if they’d like to turn themselves into a US server.

I’ve seen 20+ guys stopped on a camp, for almost 5 minutes, trying to cap it while one guy was almost perma-stealth on it. Probably using the last skill of the dagger to do it.
I’ve also seen 2 berseker thieves insta-owning a 5-man group.

Anyway, it’s certainly effective, even without 10-15 guys. In fact, it seems a bit too much for perfect coordination.

I’d recommend moving to Arborstone or Vizunah. We are doing 5v20 (at least) every night against [ruin] and they still claim “no PvD” and “significant challenges”.

Think of what we could do if we were at least 10..

I’ve enjoyed the day again, really enjoying these match-ups. I didn’t see much effect from an alliance last week, this week I’ll give you an example from Arbor Borderlands earlier. We were attacking the keep on our side, VS attacking the keep their side. Most of the Arbor defenders went to protect the keep against VS and let us stroll into the keep our side. So I would like it if Deso could stop complaining about a so called alliance as I can’t see any signs of it, although we seem to have found another complaint a top guild transferring? Don’t know about this, but who cares lets just go out there and fight. Stop complaining to the French guys and then they might also start to have more respect for us and stop whinging at us for this that and the other.

On a side note I seriously need to improve my 1v1 play, I would like to blame lag but…….

I was on VS side at that time, it’s a good example, AB giving you Etheron by attacking Bay.
Just before AB was going for Etheron (and they failed :P) while our two commanders were respectively on Lowlands and Lake, just in front of the spawn.

W3 is basically 2v1 all the time. But it’s tactical, map-wise, non-concerted.
It’s just logic and strategy, you attack the server already defending because it’s easier.
Of course, on top of that, you tend to attack the bigger threat. For VS, seeing last week, it’s obviously Deso, at least right now. Plus, they have [ruin] and free badges.
But still, it’s how the W3 works. No need to cry about it or imagine a french plot to conquer everything.

Stay up all night. Use australians. Win during the day when the invisible army of canadians disappear. But please, stop spamming those threads.

I’m on VS and I’ve played 2h of WvW so far, because of the queues. The server just have a lot of organized guilds aimed at WvW primarly, hence a lot of players playing a lot of it, even at 4AM.
Deal with it until Anet finds a new system.
