I have a great idea what could be done to make all dungeons more challenging: copy paste a wild-Giganticus Lupicus which spawns, surely, but in a random moment, in every dungeon (When last boss is at 1% hp, last burrow in AC, at the very entrance of the dungeon!!! and making sure it blocks progresses if skipped. Must, mostly, be added to AC story to make it even more friendly for new players who get started with dungeons!! ) It’ll also do for those who don’t like to run Arah, so that they’ll be able to get Arah tokens from every other dungeon!!

But only if you mildly change its colour!

These are absolutely outstanding, and that’s coming from someone with no interest in art of any sort at all.

Just something I noticed on AC troll, you can evade leap, then jump over shockwave (with spacebar) and take no damage.

I get WvW badges from Eir, Zojja, Rytlock and Logan in TA Story, and AC Tokens from CtrlC+CtrlV hotw troll now.

Did they buff him recently?

I’m looking to be picked up by a teacher for anything and everything but I’m running guardian, really not ready for much on my warrior yet, all the gear and no idea on him. Never really been much in Arah and would love to learn, especially melee on Lupi. I’m definitly not skilled enough for duo-ing though.

I’m in a WvW guild so I wouldn’t be able to bring a group either so I was hoping to jump in on others teachings when they needed someone to fill a slot.

AC p1:
On the spider stack as the spider hatchlings get just before the corner I have hit for 4-5k on a Soldiers/Clerics support heal build. I dont even hit with autos at 80 for that much. The best part is that I had no stacks of might or anyother dps boosts. I have only had this happen to me in the spider corner in p1. It also has happened with different weapons, for example in these screenshots of the combat log I used the hammer and the mace.

No, but seeing as you’ll run proper builds, you won’t be running AI heavy builds.
Personally I would prefer a ranger, I feel they bring more to the table in Dungeons and especially fractals. Necro lacks any aoe/cleave apart from two wells, which are on relatively high CDs, they also lack a proper blast finisher. Necro might be situationally useful for blinds but even then, a good guardian can do the same job. Meanwhile, a ranger can bring Spirit of Frost (70% chance to do 10% more damage on hit) Spotter (+150 precision at level 80) and a cat that buffs 5 stacks of might for a short time, and then Warhorn 5 which is a blast, and grants fury. They also have a waterfield on a relatively short CD.

stacking is evil/too hard/too easy/stupid/intelligent playing

Indeed, if you’re a new player you will struggle with your first dungeon, that’s pretty much a given.
top suggestions are: use gear that is the exact same level as your level, in a dungeon where you’re not level 80, your gear scales oddly, so if your gear is level 25 and you’re level 30, you’re severely crippling yourself,
My advice, don’t bother with story modes, not worth it unless you want to unlock explorable mode.

Yes it’s only 10% as effective, so there’s only a 10% chance for him to miss, this is to prevent a group from completely nullifying a bosses damage.

I was thinking of just starting a guild that would basically function as a big, shared friends list, where you’d see someone online, and ask them if they’d want to join basically, it would be non rep too.. would anyone be interested?

people who want to stack play with people who want to stack, people who don’t want to stack play with people who don’t want to stack. I thought it was common sense… is it really too difficult to add “no stacking” to your lfg?

As has been said, check/tell friends to check the dungeon mentors thread, very friendly and very detailed explanations of dungeons and fractals by very competent mentors. Also, as long as you/your friends avoid joining “exp only” parties, and say you’re new before going through the dungeon will usually find you a successful group.
