No Arenanet employees have bought multiple play accounts for the purpose like players do of additional daily cooldowns? Interesting.
(For me this would fall under ‘economic impact’).
Unless you mean the 3rd account above for events is a work sponsored one. Surely I can’t imagine they’d have a problem with employees having multiple purchased accounts.

My account in its current state can get the challege motes in World summit to appear SOLO but NOT if I’m in a group. If I’m in a group, they aren’t there for anyone else in the party.
Have you guys tried cloning some of the live accounts for users with the issues back to QA to see if you can pull anything out of them thats useful?
I have guilds which are stuck only building 1 item in the queue despite the queue being entirely empty prior to the update.
It’d be wonderful if commerce could clean out the buy orders for any order thats ‘buying’ the item at below the vendor/minimum TP allowed sale price.
Not many average players that I see. If it’s possible to get paired up with average players, then please for the love of God, pair me up with them.
There’s newbies and there’s champion players. That’s pretty much all I ever see. When I started playing pvp, I didn’t have a fantastic record, but I could hold my own. And we had some decent matches. Now I’ve played and gotten to rank 49, all I ever get paired with are players way better than I am. Not sure why, but that’s just how it goes pretty much every session now. Once in a very blue moon, I’ll have a good match that is nice and close, but typically, it’s just all but over in about 2 minutes and I spend half the match getting obliterated.
Team comp? Communciation? Queue times/Failsafes? I know I had a block of time where I went from amazing close games to utterly atrocious knockouts. Thats what the Bad Matchups thread is for.

Define good? Your rating is average, so you should be getting matched with the average player.
You know.. Maybe we could get our OWN MMR as ‘Average’/‘Above Average’/Below Average’

Yes, but I want to be absolutely clear about what is, and is not allowed. I’m not looking for a ‘personal’ group, I’m looking for a large group of players for something I may or may not be coordinating.

Can I ask what considered over qualified? I only solo queue, so pre-arranged team fights like this would be very different.
So..Do matches in which you win, but some how manage to get 0 rank points negatively affect your leaderboard score? Didn’t desert. I’m pretty sure my team-mates would call holding points an active contributor, I just kept dying right before someone else showed up to rotate in for me, pesky ranged.
I know what counts as contribute credit, my ranking is a #, not a %.

I feel like its trying to move me around like crazy this morning. My queue times are still short. Have I been getting carried really well and am as a result getting outclassed? I know why my contribution scores might seem artificially high.

In contrast to the match I had immediately prior which was painful, but neck and neck most way through until the last hundred points or so.
I’d love some kind of clue what happened, I know I’m not that great, but ..that was the most painful time I’ve had in quite some time.
How does a 4v4 work as far as Ladder points go?
I know that in a 4v5 it only gives you credit if you win and are on the 4 side, but at some point, we wound up with a 4v4.

An official answer would be nice.
Once the collection is unlocked, can we do the JPs at any time to collect the Ornaments or will it be uncompletable come the patch? Trying to find out if I need to zerg through a bunch of JPs. JPs are something I really prefer to be in the mood for and run with friends.
The new dailies can make it hard to prevent multiple of the same profession. The new system was never designed to outright forbid it, only to work against it happening.
Why were the PvP dailies were made profession specific? Could we swap them for something else to help with the stacking problem?
Are people recieving dishonor if they’ve tried to leave the queue and decline (or are offline) when it pops? If so, can we get a reset after this gets fixed? =)
Is there a concern that the new ‘Win with X Profession’ dailies are causing a lot of people to flood the queue with those classes?
Shouldn’t it cleanly remove me from a queue when I leave the PvP lobby?
I swapped characters (leaving hte lobby) THEN got a queue pop on my newly logged in character
Actually, I think it MIGHT stay. After all, we already know that the Maize Balms were intentionally introduced so that PvE players could continue to farm ToT bags all year round. It thus makes sense that the reward track would stay so that PvP players can do the same.
Furthermore, there’s no indication on the Halloween track that says it’s going away, like the temporary dungeon/regional tracks.
Don’t take this as a guarantee, of course, but I think there’s a good argument for the Halloween track possible staying.
This is why I was hoping for an official reply.
Will the reward track be available after Halloween to provide an alternate means of acquiring trick or treat bags for those who prefer to PvP instead of PvE? There’s a puppy to find after all!

Thanks Chris. I personally look forward to this discussion as well and I can say a lot of our members and leaders are too. Off-topic but you can apply again at our website if you want to get back into the Guild, we’re almost always open to recuit new members. Also I’m speaking more personally, I think Merforga will swing by here to give TTS’s general thoughts on things.
I’m also glad, I’m not the only one who thinks the old Living story events should be converted into raids! It’s prime Raid content just lying on the table being unused!

I would like to be able to filter weapons by a specific weapon type WITHOUT only seeing items which my class can use.
Sometimes, I like to buy a weapon as a gift for a friend.
Additionally, I dont suppose this means we’ll see something so the API suddenly knows what kinds of items these are so external sites can sort them appropriately and automatically? =)
Please do not make us wait to do the personal story in entire episode chunks. Players should expect a challenge when running content under level. Not level-gating it means we can do it with our friends for the fun of a challenge.
It also divorces the game story even further from the world around us. Let us do our personal story starting at level 1 as best we can.
This feels like a veiled attempt at stopping keyfarming. It will affect the BLTC skin market. What happened to keyfarming being an explicitly approved activity?
ArenaNet-Please reconsider this change. Don’t level gate the personal Story ; Let us play the story as naturally as our characters CAN. Bit by bit. Its more challenging AND makes for some good group enjoyment underlevel.
Within the past few minutes, it has started to let me sell intermittently. I’m still getting the “Error attempting to sell” about 50% of the time. (Multiple relogs/char swaps attempted)

Completely serious. Its very frustrating. I’ve got full bags, and had a bunch of crafting orders I was in the middle of trying to fill on another character too. The crafting stuff, has been ready to sell for about 10hrs at this point.
I’ve relogged. It still wont do anything but show me buy/sell listings (and probably deliver stuff if I go to a TP in person, but it still allowed pickups while it was in maintenance mode so, I doubt that’s changed)

Blockhead Magee is right, many of us don’t pop our ArenaNet tags when playing. When we do play with it on, it tends to act as a beacon that draws the enemy in like moths to a light bulb.
We are out there, even if you don’t know it.
I’ve got a followup. I’ve seen some Anet employees pop their tag in WvW, sPvP, and the landscape. That means, I can see them as long as they are on my server’s side.
Does the Tag show in any way if you’re part of an opposing world while it’s popped?
There are few enough employees that pop their tags in WvW that I’ve never seen it happen. I just want to know how its implemented (Aka, is it possible!)
While I’m on the subject of Anet tags.
I’m also reasonably sure I’ve never seen an Anet employee reping a guild of any kind while their tag is popped. Does it turn off their repping entirely, or just hide that part of the tag? At least, I presume that some are lurking in normal guilds along players, and that you’re not all playing in employee guilds 24/7. It might even be policy that you if you want an account for playing in regular guilds, its got to be unable to toggle the flag (aka, entirely separate from your employee one) I’ve got no idea!
Is there any way for players to set up an email alias without going through customer support?
Replying here to state that While this next couple sat-mon’s are out for me, I’d love to stop by and check this out. I’d like to see more dungeon paths as a casual player, that are friendly, patient, and less geared toward ’we’re going to zerg it, try to keep up, don’t get lost, but we’ll stop occasionally when we need another body for the boss’

The only reason encountering specific bosses with windows was an issue was if you refused to guest to other worlds. With the ability to regularly guest to worlds in your region, it was much easier to catch these bosses when you were ready IF you wanted to or even a friend/guildie casually watched the timers. Scheduling all but removes these chances. Especially for events you’re not adding a ‘trigger me’ option for.
As much as I appreciate the ‘one guild all worlds’ and the idea behind a ‘merge the extreme under-populated map instances’ You’ve destroyed too much of what made the game feel like a living world to me.
1. You’ve scheduled almost all events. Everywhere. It was bad enough that you had large event windows for some world bosses. now you’re scheduling others such that I’ll never get to see some of them outside of finding a guild willing to unlock the event so I can see it. And I understand the ‘force start’ isn’t something you’re adding to all the events? Bad form. With the existing system, I can go straight to a world that’s got the event running and participate which was far more likely to happen with specific worlds and map instances during my play sessions.
2. You’re randomizing each of the map instance’s resource nodes. Part of what made it worth gathering with multiple characters on a single map was that you’d know where they were. The world of LIVING things is meant to change, Ore, isn’t a living resource. Even the organics are coming from places where they’ve grown already. It’s another immersion break to see trees, flowers, and crops growing one day in a field, and another to find it somewhere else entirely. One randomization per main game reboot is enough
3. By merging the Guild functionality so it’s a unified presence without allowing some method of increasing the Guild Member Cap (via either influence or a Gem Store Purchase) across servers you’ve created other problems. 1. You’ve effectively done away with the ability of larger/smaller guilds to do different kinds of things on different kinds of worlds specifically to take part in specific social settings) [EX: Tonight the guild is doing an RP event with the folks from TC!, Tomorrow, we’re doing fractals with a group from… you get the idea]
4. It feels like you’re doing away with servers in all but a loosely defined meta-group-name used for ‘weighted representation, world buffs and PvP’
5. Please disclose the current weights assigned to: A. ‘Main World’ B. ‘Friends’ C. ‘Followers’ D. ‘Guild Members’ especially as it applies to those of us with multiple guilds. E. ‘Guested world, if not functionally the same as Main world while guesting’ (aka Do main world users have a priority to be in the same map over guested users when assigning them to a map instance?)
6. As part of the guild changes, we really need some way to monitor and participate in guild chat for all the guilds we’re a member of at once. It would also be nice if we could client-side color members tags in a specific way so as to draw attention to the fact that we’re guildies while running around. Possibly even going so far as to see all their dots on the mini-map.
7. If Ieave a map area on foot, and then almost immediately return, I need to go back to the specific map instance I left. Traveling the borders of a map instance for some reason or another (like grab a way point, sell some stuff at a town) shouldn’t break my immersion by finding myself in a ‘new version of the world’ just because I left for 5 minutes. Take me back to the group of players I was interacting with before, even if they aren’t on my friends list, group, or guild. Thank you very much.

Any chance you’ll be increasing the maximum guild members size to help us assist in utilizing this feature better? Some of us specifically are members of more than one guild because of size issues enabling some more key members to stay connected with all aspects easily.
How will this effect guilds who expressly exist as a multi-server guild that handles special world events like Teq?
Could it has anything to do with the new build that came out a cpl hours after the new living story went live?
For example I collected a transcribe before the new build and its telling me Ive learned all I can but maybe didn’t count towards the achievement.
Ive been to every node now 2 times all 24 cleared all krait before transcribing still at 23/24.
This is also happening to me, I suspect its because I had some transcribes prior to the 2nd build not get credited properly. I did the entire thing TWICE a single character, am not getting credit for any ‘new nodes’ and have NOT deleted the transcriber.
