While I understand the potential for disappointment as a fan of the original game, I also believe Guild Wars has room for both old and new traditions. We seized the opportunity to appeal to the classic Guild Wars fan with Halloween, so it feels right to me that Wintersday will cover some new ground.

It also makes a lot of sense given the fact that not only have the human gods been missing for some time, humanity itself is rather beaten back to a relatively smaller corner of Tyria. So I hope you’ll reserve your judgement until you see what the new version of Wintersday is all about.

I never played the first one that much just here and there, but I understand where Anthony is coming from. In the last 250 Tyria has changed the gods have left us and with that the human influence isn’t as strong as it once was. The world changed and with it some traditions, as long as the content is good then I’m satisfied. Though I would like to see the six return and impact Tyria again.

I wish the main cities had more going on in them honestly I prefer being in Divinity’s Reach over LA( I only go there to use the Forge nowadays ). Maybe in the future we’ll see more events in the cities at least with this one Tixx will visit each one.

They are being suspiciously tight lipped about this update, I’m guessing they have something big planned. The lack of info only raises my anticipation further.

I cannot wait for the new event and am patiently waiting for ANet to break their silence on it. Been enjoying GW2 since launch and intend to enjoy it more in the days to come.

Man, Henge and Eredon used to be on top, and now they’re getting stomped in the lower brackets. This is what happens when the huge WvW megaguilds have drama or bail without regard for the negative effects they’ll have on the rest of that server’s community.

I agree when Northern Shiverpeaks were up against Eredon a couple weeks back i was shocked at how dead the they were it’s a shame really to see that happen to any server.

Sweet I didn’t know the kit was up looks like I’ll be buying me a Gem Card!!

To the OP thank you for posting this. The rage against ANet is not necessary, it puts the GW2 community in a bad light. It’s time to get over it guys if you’re angry take it out in WvWvW.

Habib thank you for these updates it’s the motivation my Guild and I need to help push Northern Shiverpeaks server closer to the top of the list.

Finally done with my Ranger Armor( full exotic set ).

I hope the fix Drax has found works out for everyone. I have friends on Mac and would like them and all of you to be able to enjoy the game. ANet should hire Drax haha.

My friend is having this issue except the screen is white. Please fix this ANet, I’d like for my guildies to be able to play the event together this weekend.

I’ve had maybe three bad experiences with the GW2 community, other than that my server( Northern Shiverpeaks )is great.

I finally leveled my main through to 80 and through the story and…well, Trahearne is freaking awesome. I never felt overshadowed by him, more like partners. Throughout the plot it was obvious that we saw our development alongside Trahearne’s own growth.

I dunno, not ranting or anything, I just don’t get all the hate. Is it envy for that wicked greatsword he’s got or something? He’s pretty cool, IMO (but yeah, dat sword).

Yes I definitely agree with you guys. While I am enjoying the game I do wish we Lvl 80’s had more areas to go to or at least like suggested Hard Mode areas. ANet please look into this hopefully we get something from the Lost Shores update.

I’m in agreement with the update giving us more power, better DPS, and range. nothing sucks worse than being on top of a wall in WvWvW and not being able to hit oncoming enemies from a distance. I don’t want to drop my ranger as I do like the class and have a good amount of time invested in him, just please come through for us ANet.

He’s a work in progress but I’m getting where I want him, just need some black dye, some tier 3 armor( except the gloves those are staying ).

Here is my Human Ranger I bought this armor because I really like the skull shoulder guard and the bonework on the coat. Saving up for the tier 3 cultural armor though.

Dantaeus X Heardt is my characters name, he isn’t of noble blood but the son of a smith. Destined for greatness and at one with nature. The name comes from an old short story I wrote i liked it and thought it fit well in the world of Tyria.

This thread reminds me of the last few times I’ve logged into the game the community was very helpful in answering questions and assisting during battles. last night I ran my first dungeon with a really good group and today I had some great interaction with a few Champion bosses and Sunless. I hope the GW2 community keeps it up we have fun when we play and the chat log is generally a riot.

Hello all!! Glad I decided to hop on the forums today this is a good idea Glitch!

Name: Branden
Main Character: Dantaeus X Heardt( Human Ranger )
Sever: Northern Shiverpeaks( US )
Interests: Dungeons, Group Events, Exploration, and WvWvW
Active: It varies due to my work schedule, but best times are evenings PST throughout the week( including weekends ). But there are times when I’m on during the day and off in evenings heh.
Additional Comments: I haven’t played a ton of MMO’s but I really love this one, I tend to get distracted on the world map when I see farming materials and I do a celebratory dance after every felled boss. I’m easy going and laid back and I run with my Norn buddy Drakesword alot.
