Somehow I immediately remember some nasty Veterans or Champs on the Cursed Shore. When they get ready to fire an absolutely killing attack – there is some notification over the target head. Or at least people say so, for in the zerg running around you never see it. As a result – always many people on the ground.
I might be missing something, but yesterday all of a sudden all the text in the lists of my transactions in BLT changed and went smaller.
If that was some server-side change, can it be reverted, as it is now hard to read?
P.S. And don’t please advise about “Interface size” setting – I’m just fine with the current, it is just BLT text too small.
Thank you for a fast response.
I might be blind, but looking through some pages here and at Wiki I see only example like:
https://api.guildwars2.com/v2/account/materials
Authorization: Bearer <API key>
But really, no explanation as to what is “Authorization: Bearer <API key>”-part and how should it be forwarded? Some header or what? Maybe add this little explanation to those not so Pro in development to the http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/API:2 page?
Thx in advance.
Many thanks for the salvage highlight.
New items highlight – awful. In the current version it is “you have smth new, but you won’t see what it is, ha-ha”. Make it less bright and add fadeout – many people will consider switching it back on. If they ever come to know you’ve changed it. Sometimes it is better to do things right from the first attempt.
Made myself a habit of purchasing gems for 10 gold each day. So that one day, when I want smth, I don’t think “that’s so expensive!”. Now I can’t do that.
Today I purchased gems for the thing I needed, got a leftover of 200, and really not planning to buy gems soon.
In, taking into consideration 1 day – ANet made a right decision: I purchased 400 gems, not 200 I needed. 200 Gems profit!
But in how many days from now that profit will turn to loss, adding every day?
Brilliant.
the reality is whatever monetization strategy is used will effect game development/priorities. The game is buy to play, but since that money is long gone, they concentrate on the gemstore, and people not returning the game fast.
Essentially as long as they dont sell new products, the bias will be towards an f2p like system the further out they get from initial sales.
I’m all for ANet to make money, really. But when it is done in a way I fill being spit in the face – I’d consider them being not my money, not my time (spent in-game on gold for gems).
Came to this game as a counterpart to those, squeezing money off players on every corner. Now this game coming the same direction. Maybe I’d better find another game with more reasonable devs? Or return to the game when things like this resulted in CEO’s “Excuse us” letters.
You know, in a game I played before, developers also thought like that “we need money, players’ views are irrelevant”. Ended in the players’ way. Because these are players who “pay for the music”.
Why do I feel like someone wants to squeeze money off me?
Totally unacceptable change not in the change itself, but in the direction it manifests.
And what should I do with a leftover of 8 gems?.
The graph was uninformative, but at least it worked a little. But this is the least of the problems here.
