It’s pretty dumb that I can suicide into a keep and become a permanent spy. Being able to see your enemy dead is a low cost, low skill tactic and adds nothing to the game because it can not be countered. Surprised more people are not bothered by this

Ironically, this won’t do a thing to address the much QQ’ed about D/P ‘permastealth’ build as it never needs to exit stealth.
It will do a lot to the D/P build because the strength of the build comes from either landing the backstab, or failing that having your initiative regenerate enough to enter stealth again. With this new change, not landing your backstab will still net you the revealed debuff, with no option to stealth again. The problem with D/P isn’t that it can stay in stealth forever, it’s that it can just keep stealthing over and over again. This kind of solves that problem.
Although of course it hits the silly CnD spammers most.
This wasn’t my experience when trying the build. Landing a hit from stealth isn’t the hard part, it’s landing BS in the BACK for the bonus damage that’s the tricky part (at least for me, and against a not-clueless opponent that knows they need to be facing you).
Though not my style, I found the strengths of the D/P build in having unconditional stealth that can be refreshed while still in stealth (hence bypassing the nerf) and also having a long duration pulse-blind field that counters any melee attacks before re-stealthing. The only difference is there will be tighter timing involved in staying stealth which shouldn’t affect any good players. In the event you do exit stealth you have a pulsing blind that will be protecting you until you’re ready to reenter stealth.
Maybe I’m just good at timing (which makes it easy to fight against thieves as well) but I don’t see how D/P thief will be affected.
Nope d/p won’t be effected. that will be the standard thief build now. With thief buffs it will get even stronger
SOR lacks coverage. That’s their number one problem. I don’t know what nights or time zones you play, but they owned the maps first 2 days of reset. Hard to do that with just 10 people on . Imho pound for pound SOR has tougher guilds
I’m sorry but as a BG player I must say. After playing both KN and SOR recently, SOR is def a T1 server and has much tougher guilds than KN . KN has War Machine which gives them massive Ocean coverage , but that’s it. Choos and TWs core will kick your teeth in. Now if War Machine moved to SOR , points would be dead even every week and T1 would be locked up. I really like Kaining, but don’t try to take anything from SOR
I’m sorry, but if you’re in this very unoriginal thread crying about thieves you are a bad bad bad bad player. A well played d/d ele is a much stronger roamer than a thief . If your zerker geared ranger gets destroyed by a zerker thief its not op. Try getting some PVT like most WvW players and /laugh your way back to your group

I hope that people from BG are able to look past all this nonsensical flaming and trolling and realize that even if we’d managed to maintain a 14k lead over JQ going into reset, we would’ve still been second in the overall scores after reset because of the glicko point system.
That being said, I think that our SEA coverage is still not where JQs is. We need to be able to counter FOO. The only guild I know of that might be capable of it is WM. So someone go buy them.
If Kaineng was the third wheel this match may have came down to the last hour, when TC jumps back to T2 that will probably slow them down unfortunately
I look forward to Kaining and the War Machine coming into T1 . Sanctum of Quary will start to get old
Best night ever tonight on JQBL! Hour long siege in Hills lord room choke point!. Too bad you guys couldn’t rush the door together without hurting each other, but you guys were very polite waiting on each side of the keep to take turns. We seriously had to drop 4 different vendors! Soooo much loot! Great fights from both JQ and SOR all week gg! Too bad it has to go out like it has but w/e . New week tomorrow!
I don’t mind doing everything else with everyone else. I just want a community that’s competitive in wvw during our primetime.
If you have a group of SEA players to keep things competitive, consider helping out SoR to round out the player base for all 3 servers in that time zone.
