Anet would be crazy to think people would pay twice for the same legendary. Not just armor but if they pull that stunt with weapons kitten will hit the fans.

Why should you be guaranteed a ascended weapon and accessory/ring . A raider who runs all 3 wins isn’t even guaranteed either of these drops. Raids arent hard and only require a bit of practice. Get off your high horse, look for a training guild and get your loot the way everybody else did.

OP i think that you need to find a raiding guild who will accept you for who you are. When i pug a SV clear i expect everybody to be running to appropriate builds and gear to get it done at a reasonable pace. Don’t try to force your opinions on the rest of us who want to be efficient. Also i expect this thread to get closed like the others that have popped up befor this one.

I disagree. Befor raids there was no PVE content in Gw2 that required the high level of skill that raids usualy require. A vocal minority voiced their opinions and got what they wanted. The raiding community shouldnt have to settle for less because of a few struggling gamers. There are dungeons, fractals and open world pve for those who cant compete in raids. Let the hardcore raider have their hardcore content, they dont need to be nerfed. I expect in the future that raids are gonna see nerfs because of a few complainers, thats gonna be a bad day.

But they are part of a gamer that should be enjoyed by everyone, and how quickly the top tier teams can complete it does not matter in the least to players that are telling you that they cannot.

Than those players that still struggle need to step up their game. If i suck at playing hockey im not gonna be a NHL player. So why should someone whos bad at raids be allowed to complete them. By your logic i should have a easy PVP mode just becuase i would struggle in a competitive manner.

There isn’t really such a thing as “OP elite specs” in dungeons.
You barely get more dps than before the icebow nerf from the classes themself, the thing that’s causing the powercreep are mostly breakbars being ridiculously unbalanced.
Before HoT you had to coordinate deepfreezes, now everybody just spams CC and you get a 50%(????) dps bonus

All this! the breakbar is horribly unbalanced for pre hot content except for high level content.

But instead of axing the team responsible for new legendaries why not just axe the precursor scavenger hunt. Turn the new precursors into sellable, dropable and forgeable items. Problem solved. Than revisit the journeys afterwards when things arent so hectic around the office. You have a amazing art team that can produce new Black lion skins, armor sets and cool gliders so how hard can it be to create the new legendaries.

TLDR: get rid of the crafting and stick to what worked befor, RNG drops.

Easy fix, create dungeon masteries similar to fractal masteries. People who quit will come back and buy HOT. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

What is it with people who play gw2 who refuse to be as efficient as they possibly can. Ascended gear isn’t hard to come by either, you get them from fracs, world bosses, pvp and now raids. You could spend 10 weeks wiping in raids and spend your shards on gear.

The main purpose of this guild is so like minded people can come together and reliably form a party instead of spending 20 min in the lfg. Whether you dungeon daily or a couple times a week this guild could be for you.

Elitist Pigs is a No Rep LFG dungeon guild focused on speedrunning dungeons.

also if i might add….arena should look into getting the little security code generators like blizzard has….they have proven their worth in improving account security and if GW2 is having a huge issue of hacked accounts steps need to be taken to get these applied to your game!

The hackers will just keep breaching accounts the same way after the first round of accounts get banned for gold farming/selling. Just move on to the next list of emails they have

Got a reply from support and instead of unbaning my account they they sent me a novel on not opening multiple tickets. So someone spend the time to give me crap for having more than one ticket but couldnt spend the time to unban my account.
