I think it is really a difference in play styles that contributes to TC’s open-field problems.

I don’t accept the premise that TC has problems fighting open-field battles. Take a look at some of the comments from Kain and BG during the time we were all in T2.

The only people that seem to think we have open-field problems are FA (or at least a small number of vocal FA forum warriors). Until I see some evidence that FA guilds are routinely rolling TC guilds (please don’t post some video of BT beating up on a militia group), I’d take all these comments with a big grain of salt (preferably followed up by a frozen margarita).

I am a sad panda that I’m missing this week and the fights until next Monday. I for one am very happy to see how heated the rivalry is becoming, people talk kitten, who cares. If you have any ounce of competitiveness in you, you have to admit you are more into this week’s fights then before.

Thankfully I got to enjoy Reset Night before I departed. Ask and you shall receive! Neither trolling, nor flaming, simply posting video! [TL] and [RUN] from Kain and [DIS] and [TSL] from TC.

Here’s what happened on Reset Night. We numbered around 30 as a group for the night.

TC and Kain were relentless trying to sneak past us in KN BL tonight. Really tested our mobility moving back and forth! [HOPE] you enjoyed our presence!

We hovered around 30 all night though! Why didn’t you guys stay on your side of the map! Forced my guys to bounce from North to South all night pushing through one fight with KN and back to save something from you guys. My guys had a blast for sure! Might have gotten my PvErs hooked from all the loot! (sorry i had to haha)

We were definitely impressed how you guys kept coming over and over again! Good fun

At no time since release, have I been worried that Fort Aspenwood would fall apart. The guilds here have all shown incredible resilience with where we’ve all been and how far we’ve come.

Our Community is truly developing into a strong fighting machine willing to work together and focused on getting better. We all have our competitions between ourselves to make our guilds the best and readily welcome anyone and any guild that will join in further pushing us to get better! Just be ready to take the pain to the enemies!

We HAVE members who just need leadership during SEA/EU. If you are a guild thinking about coming over, you will not have a problem adding members to your ranks, we need ambitious Commanders and leadership, and your guild will get the full support of the Fort Aspenwood Community!

Hate to say it, but paper doors and walls make everything more fun. Keeps you on your toes defensively, and lets smaller groups get bold and try to take things and affect the map and ppt.

Hope Yak’s enjoyed our 27 Golem Golem Rush to your Garrison tonight! Unfortunately we had no DD’s for them and luckily our drivers didn’t get pulled over! Haha!

For the past 2 weeks

It has been really annoying how often “spy/sabotage” occasions happen when Fort Aspenwood [BT] guild approach an objective.

IE buying Keep upgrades to burn supply, throwing catapult build sites on top of our mortar to prevent countering the trebuchets taking our wall down, ram build sites on the walls that are about to go down from trebbing, building rams at the supply depot, etc

Sabotage/spy is the decision of few/many and the actions of 1.

It is very interesting how we see this behavior when facing FA so frequently, most other matches have not had this much interaction to assist a server in capturing objectives.

Higher population, oceanic coverage, and relies on spy/sabotage to take big objectives

I would love to hear from Dragonbrand to find if this is isolated to our server

I never post on here but that just goes to show how little you know of [BT]. I get it though. Sometimes there are mindless people who don’t know better. This occurs often? Maybe there’s a conspiracy inside Maguuma to get destroyed and move back to T4. (Sound familiar?)

I’m not saying that’s the case at all, but instead of turtling up in your Keeps and Towers, don’t let that happen! Make a move and tryyy to make a seige more interesting.

FA does not have dedicated WvW guilds that use gears, golem in a box, or consumables of that nature cause that in no way will make your group more effective. I think I can speak for most of the guilds on FA when it comes to this, but if we won’t try to get an upperhand using cheap consumables, in no way would we need/want to get an upperhand by sabotage.

Maybe Maguuma needs to decide if you want to be in T4 or compete. “Almost back to T4! Hopefully Yak’s holds on” but “wahhhh they’re beating us”. Make up your mind.

CD got their death sentence in CD BL earlier tonight. Now a 10 point spread between them and DB in favor of DB’s rating.

It really is too bad to see a whole server crash down like that after one losing week; granted, there might have been other factors that contributed to it. Sure we wanted to destroy CD on the battlefield, but rivalries are good for the game, and its unfortunate to see the rivalry end. On to the next, I suppose!
