This is why you shouldn’t work on something that you hate,
zero passion at all in the development of the dd.
They should redesign dd from scratch,
but we all know that’s not gonna happen..
1. Everything else
2. Daredevil
For players that have been playing thief as main all this years (like me), the elite spec is definitely a huge let down.
A shadow magic staff as you say would have been awesome, but this crap the we are getting is just.. meh.
I’ll just continue using the same old d/p build and ask for a refund.
Our elite specialization will be start another profession.
It is actually very simple: “our” dev went for balance, other devs went for powercreep/cool stuff + they don’t communicate apprently. So here we go, got short end of the balance stick so to say.
Balance has nothing to do with it. There is a clear and visible LACK of passion and excitement for Daredevil. This stands in stark contrast to the rest.
Agree, there’s just no passion at all.
For PvE use whatever you want, most players use D/P D/D or S/D with Shortbow as Secondary Weapon.
If you are interested in the expansion tho, I would warn you that thief specialization sucks.
As of build you can go berserker for full dps, or valkyrie + berserker for a more balanced build (on pve).
Get stealth and backstab foes for high damage, you can get stealth from several ways (stealing with the proper traits, d/d or s/d skill 5, d/p skill 5+2, and some utility skills).
I kinda regret I bought HoT before checking the thief specialization,
I’ve only played Thief since I started playing 2 years ago, now I don’t even want to play anymore, this is a huge let down.
Same feel here, we got the worst specialization by far.
Been playing thief as main for 2 years, I’m considering starting from scratch on another profession now :/
Thanks all for all the tips,
we’ve been trying to get used to rotate in the map properly,
been playing unranked arenas and have a 50/50 win/loose rate at the moment.
Hopefully we’ll improve with time.
And, Tuturu to you Flumek
So me and my guildies want to make a PvP team,
we’ve been doing some unranked matches but we always seem to loose.
We know the rules and stuff but we keep loosing,
I was wondering if you could give us some tips on how to be a better team.
Should we go all together? 3 and 2? 4 and 1? I don’t know..
Basically I just want to know,
when you are on a PvP match the list of members on your team (the one on the top left corner) shows a number at the side of the name of the player.
Is that their level or rank?
Is that the only way?
As you have to be logged in to see the leaderboard filtered.
I would like anyone to see the list of members.
Is there a way to get the members list of a guild using the API?
I looked at the wiki and found nothing (just to get the id, name, tag and emblem of a guild).
So, is there a way to get the list of members of a guild?
Cheers!
That makes a lot of sense,
I knew there had to be a good explanation.
Well its kind of a shame for the people that just want to play,
but yeah.. I understand now.
Question solved then
So, I’m not new to Gw2 and I’m not using a free-to-play account,
but my friends are now joining the game because of it becoming free.
The thing is, for me, and some of the friends that have seen me playing the game WvW is one of the most exciting things to do.
And we would like to do some WvW together, also we would like to do the jumping puzzles in there.
But we can’t because of the level restriction.
I now there has to be a very good explanation for this restriction, as I think all the other restrictions are well thought and necessary.
But I don’t see why WvW should be level restricted, I mean sPvP is not right?
Just wanted to know what’s the reason for that restriction
