Guild Wars 2

First, I’d like to say that there are definitely ways for you to earn favor and such. As an example, I myself are in a 2 person guild with a real life friend, BUT, my main guild is the one I represent and we are a huge guild that I am very active in. This is because I am aware there are feats that cannot be obtained without a true guild. There are ways for you to earn it with your friend, but it will be very slow and painful.

With that said, this game is called “Guild” wars for a reason. You’re not going to have little skirmishes, but rather huge battles

I completely disagree with you. I think Anet should remove the ability to create guilds with less than certain people to clarify their definition of a guild. Now, it just feels like you’re exercising your right to free will (Which is completely fine) but now being ignorant of the factual basis of what you’re fighting for.

As you can see here, the definition of a “Guild” is most definitely NOT anything that’s singular, ie. 1-man guild.

Face it, 1-2 people don’t make up a guild. Thos who are refusing that are just throwing a tantrum, trying to twist the facts only to suit their own needs which is not a nice attitude to have. Either join a bigger one, or make do with what you have. But don’t expect anet to spoonfeed you just because you don’t want to be in major communities.

Sorry if it sounded aggressive but I must tell you, you are definitely a huge minority in this one as Druid is by far my most favorite elite spec name I just hope they follow through with the actual elite spec itself!

But to add, here’s the wiki about druids in GW1. It may give us insight as how the druid spec will be based off of the description and picture. The oakheart matches the druid art that was introduced a couple days ago.

Hm, reading further through the oakheart link in that wiki, it states:

“Oakhearts are large Plant creatures that can be found in many verdant areas of Tyria. They are usually ranged fighters, throwing rocks, but can also sometimes be Monks.”

Monks in GW1 had divinity, healing, prayer, and smiting based skills… so there is a chance we may get a pet like that, or the ranger himself has skills like these.

Druids have been a thing in the lore since GW1.

I must say, as simple as this post is, this is probably one of the most opinionated posts I’ve seen in a while that is ignorant of the true backstory of Guild Wars. The irony is that he claims dragonhunter is a cool name when it was something new solely created for HoT whereas druid has been around since GW1. To top it off druid is a standard MMO class. I’ve never heard most of the new elite spec names introduced in HoT.

That’s the way people do it. Make sure you pick the stats of the white gear in the first step. If you’re unsure, you might wanna test with a cheap soulbound green item and regular transmute stones (i.e. buy a level 20 green off TP, get it soulbound, transmute that onto a white and see what happens)

Just a heads up, it won’t work with cultural armor (or even if it does, your human wouldn’t be allowed to wear the skin)

And no, not cultural, I have items like the fused gauntlet skins and such and I don’t have any other way to spend my time and money so I am just going to just race’s now xD

As topic states, I’m curious, if I want to transfer my lvl 80 armor and weapon thief set to another new race thief on my acc would I be able to do it with this trick:

Transmute 80 gear with white gear
Put in bank
Put on new 80 human thief
Retransmute to appropriate statted armor

That’s exactly what they don’t want you to do. Or didn’t you get the message of their changes? If this is still a viable tactic after the patch, expect RTL to be completely gone if you don’t hit a target. They might even make it that you’re stunned if you don’t, or something. They obviously want us to only use RTL to engage in a fight, not run away.

Yep lol you got it confused, OP. To reiterate, the RTL nerf is supposed to make it so that you CAN’T run away as much. They only want you to start battles with it. If you don’t have a target the CD is twice as long (40 sec).

Yep, I received an infraction notice from anet as well on my account, so much for freedom of speech. We do/say these things because we care and want to enjoy this game. I never once gave the umadbroragequitwhinny speech, just that updates should not be implemented as they are.

To change the subject, I do hope they have something in store for the ele class that makes them enjoyable to play. Perhaps even a way to implement quickness for staff casting

Hear us out. I know these changes are going to hurt D/D ele’s and they do deserve it but there are some things that take it too far. I’ll take whatever nerf you give us Anet but PLEASE don’t nerf RtL in PvE as this helps in movement when roaming this huge kitten world.

Side note: I don’t mind all the nerf heals but stopping heals in the midst of mist form is almost just ignorant. It’s as though they hit with nerf bats without fully thinking. Go ahead and nerf all heals, but at least give us an invulnerable form to reposition ourselves and heal, as though other classes with similar skills can heal as well.

PS. GIVE US MOUNTS

For instance, I have the corrupted shard and want to use it’s appearance on my Knight’s Pearl Carver stats… will the glow disappear and look only like a normal corrupted shard?

Once you made your knight’s trinkets, get a beryl jewel (the one with the filigree), and double click, apply to the trinket. tada!

the lower half of the trinket can always be replaced. You won’t get the previous upgrade though.

Omg. I so dumb >.< I always read that the jewel had to be unused slot but I didn’t know you could override… aahh thank you so much! Lollll!

This may be a very dumb question… but I am not 100% clear on exactly how to make accessories! Started playing GW2 recently and I reached 80 and 400 on jewelcrafting and I have extensively researched on my gear and builds etc… but now I kindly ask (if possible) how to obtain rings and earrings etc of this stat combo? (Like said in daphoenix’s build guide)

I seem to only see knight’s access’ paired w emerald jewels and valk’s access’ paired w beryl jewels.
