This game may not be perfect, but it’s done perfectly- i do agree with everything you said and can also promise you – the game experience doesn’t end of level 80.

so no one really seeing that the price of gems will reduce?
bummer, i was patiently playing (not grinding) to get up to 2000 gems. now when the prices are so high i can only buy1000gem :/

I have 18% critical chance.
after adding Orrian Amulat with a 2% critical chance bonus, i have a total of 19% critical chance instead of 20%.

So, the gems used to cost about 60s and now reached 1g40s, i understand that due to the events(lost shores + black friday) there should be a demand for gems but this is really becoming too expensive to buy with gold.

Can normally run the game on medium at 50 FPS, but when there’s huge events my FPS count drops to 5. I’m actually surprised that it even runs for me. I mean this is a laptop I’m on and Guild Wars 2 is a pretty new, advanced game.

I wouldn’t say that the coding is wrong. I would say that it’s just not perfect for all systems. The same way that I can’t play Planetside because it stutters for me, the same way that some games refuse to run for my boyfriend.

What? you mean like every other game out there? relativly to the polygon count/ screen effect – this game should run with 100 characters on screen without a sweat…

I agree that the game engine isn’t that good. i bought a new pc a few months ago, all specs are to the top except the GPU which is Nvidia GTX560ti – i run every latest game with maximum settings and easily above 30 fps.

it doesn’t matter what system you have – if you code smth wrong – the power of the machine becomes unrelevant very quickly.

i think it would be a great thing if you could see how an items looks on you before buying them from Black Lion market. alot of the reasons people by items is because how they look – i think it would motivate sells.

Based on the comments above, as well as Anthony Ordon’s post (see https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/archive/halloween/Are-the-Halloween-skins-permament/first#post512016), I placed the ghastly grinning shield appearance on a shield with the expectation that I could transmute the appearance to another shield if needed. I have been trying to confirm the feasibility of this, and have been getting negative results. I am able to put the now grinning shield in the “from” box, but the “item transmutation” button is grayed out when I place another shield in the “to” box.

Anthony, if you are listening, please help. Your post, like the posts of others above, suggests that the grinning shield visage should be transmutable to other shields.

Is either item equipped? Transmutation stones cannot be used if the armor is currently being worn. You need to put both items into your bag then drag each one into the window. Once you’ve done that select the “picture” of the grinning shield and then the stats and sigil of the other. Then hit accept. You do not need a transmutation stone for the first use of the halloween skins, but you do need a stone for any other ones. Make sure you are using the right level stone for your armor/weapon as well.

ok, so many of you came from guild wars 1 where everything was based on missions – you could get 4 more player/npc and play the missions togather.
now we have dynamic events (which are awsome and amazing) and dungeons.
I’m not so sure if that’s enough for the gw1 fan base.

Don’t understand me wrong -I Love this game – but it fills like theres no interaction between players, each player plays alone and maybe join a group for dungeon every now and then.

true, there are guilds but hey – you don’t really know anyone in your guild.

so i guess what i’m asking is – what would you prefer to see more:
1.More Dynamic Events
2.More Missions
3.More of Both

i’m not sure i understood your question but – if u have a cool looking armor and just got an ugly one but with better stats you can use transmute stones to merge them.

how does the merge works?
you drag both items and then select what you like to keep from each item:
1.looks
2.stats
3.rune

it’s a simple 3 click process – check out youtube for it.(example – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6yPLZkG2oM)

I really love the game and hope it will continue, but i did notice i can’t find people for dungeons (at list in Gunner’s-Hold).

As far as the gems price:
1. because there’s upcoming events (like black friday) – people tend to buy more gems since they now they will buy stuff
2. im guessing gw2 is raising it slowly and steady to encourge players to buy more gems with real money.

I can honestly say that i already got my money’s worth a few times and will be very dissappointed if the game will shut down.

instead of people spamming map chat i though – why not “sign up” for a dungeon – then other people can join u, in fractal 4 example you could sign up to a specific level. this wil be more efficient and logical.

So, i thought it could be a good idea to know summarize (in a non wining way) the experience we all had in lost shores event.

I believe this would help gw2/arena net to understand our needs.

Agree, This dungeon is amazing – even tough i havent finished the hammer quest yet

In general – i think it would’ve been best if gw2 didnt show the kraka in the event preview images.

I think surprise/mystery is just as important as creating fliers.

there are other races that i would like to play too, probably will come out as a form off expension pack

i agree with Capn Evan. a bug report system will be easier for us and easier for gw2 team. it could instantly send the exact location, pretty basic…

Ok, so i’m trying to clear map by map both for achivements and for fun ofcourse and in krythan explorer have reach to 174/175 places discovered.
i have no clue where to find the last area. tried searching by looking at the map – and no go…

it would be nice if you can see (toggle) in the map which areas you visited and which you didn’t – where unvisited areas are in black.
another option is to show in each map – X/Y areas discovered. this way you can quickly go and visit all the wonderfull places of gw2

in Halloween i played alot on overflow servers, some where perfect(usually), some where terrible.
just hope that this one time event goes smoothly

since the offshore event is set to 20:00 GMT, does this mean that in my area (GMT+2) the event will start at 22:00?

I agree that traits should be a little stronger. but as a guardian warrior conjurer – i benefits alot – summons lasts 50% longer. sword heals me. fire does 10% more damage. etc…

just wanted you to know i highly appriciate the upcoming Lost Shores Event and have just 1 small tiny request – please make sure to have enough servers so we won’t end up on a laggy overflow server.

since this is a one time event millions of guildwars players (and I) will logon at the same time.
