My suggestion is to add an item (prbbly to gem store) that will alert you whenever one of the elder dragons(Tequatl /Shatterer/ Jormag) is available in the server – people would gladly pay 600 gems for this item.
you can also have Crystal Orbs for other mega bosses for 200 gems.

since the clockworks update i’ve being experienceing server disconnections.
i thought that was because the invasions but they still occur 2-3 a night when before it was maybe 1 a month.
does anyone else encountered these issues?

today at gunners hold we got a message (a few hours ago) that there’s an invasion at timberline falls. everyone got there and there was no invasion :/
The hint given was that to go up, you must first go down. I don’t want to give a step by step, it’s more fun to find it yourself.

Worked for 3 days on 4 achivements for this month monthly progression and suddenly i see i have only 2 (complitionist and event participation).
I think there was champion slayer and smth else which i had over 50% progression.
can anyone tell me where did the other achivements went??

Josh Foreman – i appreciate all your hard work both on SAB and of commenting this thread.
just wanted to say –
1.Regarding GW2 ability to store the user’s progress – you could create a bunch of items (“scrolls or whatever”) that allows the user to fastforward to a checkpoint. this way each checkpoint a user gets this item and can double click it to start from that checkpoint. (or just create WayPoints )
2.I learnt that alot of the times the jumping parts requires you to stand on the air. i’ll
try to upload screenshots
3.some parts of world 2 cannot be passed even with a whip – thats a bit of a bummer. you should state that to the players at the begining.
So, I’m really so happy with this event but the “destroy” function is really annoying especially since it:
1. misleading you to think you are looting
2. doesn’t give you anything (besides a very little pleasure)
3. you see alot of it on screen
This is my suggestion (if not for this event – then to future ones):
1.instead of having to destroy little creatures – make us destroy the nightmares- they are large, doesn’t appear in dozens and will cause a lot of players to gather togather.
2.make the destroy give some item – even if it’s 5 clockwork wheels or 1 silver it will feel much more rewarding

when i log on – i can run in the (invaded) map but i can’t use any of my skills,.
i see the battle, than i disconnect after 2 minutes.
does anyone else have these issues?
I do like the idea.
However if you go in overflow, and there is no event then you didnt make it on time, every overflow can do the invasion but after 10 minutes or so it gets locked away from other overflows that dont have the events going on.
if you get to overflow than you’ll just go to an other invasion, thats it. you won’t have 2 maps that sends to overflow

why not spread to 2 invasions at once?
less traffic, everyone gets to play. can’t see the down side in that.

just got the patch – all graphics always maxed out – always got 25-40 FPS.
now i get 3 FPS
I agree, a 7 days heads up would’ve been more than enough
my suggestion is to allow to select multiple items in TP in order to sell them.
since you already know the price, why do it one by one?
it’s slow and inefficient.

It’s been almost a year, and this game has improved in so many ways.
still, after killing all the dragons, giant jungle wurm, etc it’s starting to get a little blend.
I suggest adding a few more large scaled super bosses.
here’s my suggestions:
-Giant Gryphon
-Chimera
-Pheonix (doesn’t necessarily has to only fire )
-Medusa
-Kerberos
or some kind of variation of the above – you catch my drift
if anyone else has suggestions, please post them here (and +1 this)

According to what you are saying, there’s no need for level progression as well…
You become more effective with a weapon over time as you (the player) learn how the skills work together or the various ways each individual skill can be used. Players also develop muscle memory, so they are more likely to activate the right skill at the right time. Your goal of more effectiveness with a specific weapon over time is met without adding a single game mechanic.
Increasing the damage of weapons through use will make the end-game easier (by increasing damage without increasing monster power) or the early game harder (by increasing both), and I already think the end game is too easy and the early game is too difficult. Weapon Professionalism is just power creep.
I think a another “layer” of progression can be weapon progression (Profesionalism).
the more you use it – the better your damage is with it, the more you kill varaiety of mobs with it the more it damages that type of mobs.
what do you think?

It looks like the wind catcher item graphics is way better than the other 2.
You can easily see it affect the trading post prices.

I do know to run in circles and jump on the boxes, the problem starts when the golems pull me or knock me over or the laser is created where im standing.
All im saying it shouldn’t be 1 hit and you are dead.
you quickly loose the fun.
regarding the group, we were 2 gurdians, 2 rangers and a mage i think – there’s no reason a dungeon should be too hard for a group like this.

just did 10 tries with a group and in the 3rd wave (Big slow laser wall + small quick laser wall) we just die and die…
dodge is bugged so it only works 50% of the time.
tried several builds, offensive, defensive, healer – no luck.
please slow the laser to a point where you have an actual chance to revive your self.

When i press ‘H’ for the hero menu, i can’t see the new dragon wings i got from Dragon Bash.([Holographic Shattered Dragon Wings of the Berserker] )
They do appear in game and in preview menu

i got tired of my helmet of infiltration (karama armor) and decided to combine it with shelter helmet.
look at the result – pretty cool
Aside from doing fractals/dungeons (which I do maybe once or twice a week)
Vendor all blues.
Salvage all whites and salvage items
Gather flippin’ everything
Keep greens, and toss them in the mystic forge for rares.
Sell rares/exotics.
Sell any T5/T6 crafting mats you don’t need.
Keep low tier crafting mats, and upgrade them in the MF with philosopher’s stones any time you end up with a stack.
Don’t be afraid to use MF food and guild bonuses. They’re far cheaper than MF gear and you can keep your build largely intact as long as it doesn’t rely on some specific consumable buff to function.
Use your naturally gained karma to buy the new orrian jewelry boxes. Keep the karma drinks until you have a big stack to use with a karma booster (wait to get one from dailies or buy it with gems), and sell the contents. When you’re ready to drink all that karma, stick on a booster and as many karma buffs as possible, buy a bulk of the boxes, open, drink, buy open, etc. until you’re out of karma. This nets a decent amount of money for karma you weren’t doing anything with anyway as the boxes tend to drop high value lodestones and in bulk openings you end up with several stacks of greys worth over 1g to the vendor (and probably multiple minipets which are account bound :P)
Doing the above things I’ve never had gold problems in GW2.

gems isn’t the answer since it requires to buy them or convert to them from gold when the economy is down.
I’m already a level 80 Gurdian so dungeon difficulty isn’t the issue – it’s just boring to spend so much time looking for parteners for dungons.
ill investigate “cursed shores events and salvage everything”.

i think it would encourge people to create mini squads if you can create a party of 10 people instead of the 5 today, it would add more stratigic thinking, encourge people to interact with each other.
The commander could see all the groups that are on his squads (smth like group1-10 people,group2-5 people etc…) and will be able to communicate to each party seperatly.
IMO these are very minor changes that could add alot of fun to WvWvW
1st of all, i just wanted to thank you for providing all this extra content to keep us coming back to play.
and for my suggestion – since you are obivously putting alot of affort into The Living Story, please add small in-game cinematics and voice overs – this would greatly help understand the actual story rather than to try reading a bunch of texts.
i’m pretty sure that even if the cinematics will only be (in some parts) pure dialogs with voices (like in story quests) that would do wanders.

There are actually two new waypoints that where added with the update yesterday. But you only see them once you are in the map(s) (as they have not been discovered yet).

I had world completion achivement – so i’m sure that i got all waypoints but since the last patch it shows i’m missing 2 waypoints:
1.straits of devastation
2.cursed shore
only i can’t see any waypoint actually missing.
anyone else is experiencing this issue?
