Just remove the 5 targets limit already and you will see real 5-10 people roaming groups hurting badly huge zergs. (not speaking of 20-30 PUG’s, but real zergs like we can see in Tiers 1 / Tiers 2 WvW)

Ok, so I tried to complete the jumping puzzle for JQ Borderlands today so I could get my LOUSY 3 to 7 badges. I end up running into a Mesmer from another server that knocks me off into the water where at least 30 players from the other server are happily waiting to kill me. This has been brought up in the forum before and is usually met with the typical “It’s PvP deal with it” or “stop QQing” or some other juvenile comment.

Look I understand that WvW is a PvP area and if I get jumped while running around alone it’s my own fault but what I just experienced is greifing. There are no structures in that area that give any advantage to the overall WvW score so why are so many people camping it?? So that they can stomp on anyone that wanders in there and laugh about it. If that type of behavior is not allowed anywhere else in the game why is it allowed in WvW? It’s not like I got jumped by 3 or 4 enemies, there were at least 30 people camping this site. I don’t want to accuse but it looked like it was a guild activity!!! That is rediculous!!

There are a ton of complaints on this forum and I don’t want to add to them but this is unacceptable IMO.

Spam different map chanels with waypoint links. Works for me every time I need to do a temple on a fresh 80..

Yep, and that’s IF you can get a message in before the thing tells you that you can’t post anymore because you’ve posted too many times.

smh. since when did it become okay to have to go to an overflow section of the world to poach people away from FotM just to get an open world event to occur on your server in a game that was supposed to be all about open world events? Does anyone else find that amazing? or is it just me?

This thread is pointless. No one plays the game anyway, so few if any will read this thread. Maybe if you posted this back in September back before the game sucked it might have got noticed. Unfortunately all the classes were broke once they decided to cater to casuals. All hard core players have since moved on to play Hello Kitty Online. Used the Other fields to give them my two cents about ascended gear. Other than the new tier, the new patch and additional content is great!

Is it bugged on the tooltip or in general? I’m running 100% duration atm and the tooltip does not reflect the duration increase.

Since there has been the added gear progression for characters, could we please have some sort of WvW oriented character progression? Please?

I’ll find out I suppose. Their 180 on their manifesto seems to fit my sates Bait-and-switch laws. I’ll know when the AGs office gets back to me.

US Justice Dept recently litigated Bioware over ME ending – but lost as courts allowed a level of puffery. This 180 in my mind is much greater than that exageration on Biowares ads. That litigation happened because one customer felt he had been riped off and made a formal complaint.

It may not work, but I feel like a victim of fraud and need to fight back with the tools our legal system has. It may do nothing but then again..

Headshot and Black Power are amazing abilities. You can use them both offensively or defensively. Also, I didn’t see food or consumable buffs up, those will help out too!

It seems a bit hasty to conclude that the new ascended gear are a “must have” for situations other than ones where baddies can inflict “agony”. Looking for the positives here – I don’t think Anet will make exotics obsolete (and clearly piss nearly everyone off) and force people into a gear treadmill for “must-haves”.

The Ascended gear does not account for set bonus given by runes. If anything, perhaps the Ascended gear might become a “third set/fourth set” that one wears for specific instances if they choose to do them (when bored with Plinx, etc). MF set, wvw set, now Ascended set for Fractals.

Many seem to be jumping to the conclusion that the difference between, say, an Exotic coat or pants vs the Ascended coat/pants will be of X% such that Ascended will necessarily make exotics obsolete. We simply do not know this to be the case yet, escpecially considering the lack of rune options on the Ascended.

I also thought of this, so it doesn’t necessarily make the exotics obsolete, but it CAN make the jewelry obsolete…

What do your bleeds tick for with no buffs/food and how much condition damage do you have in your suit? I’m at about 807 and it’s at 81/tick. Seems like the diminishing returns after 300 condition damage are pretty bad.

It’s not. I’m looking for something that will total my stats depending on what items I choose for each slot on my character. Something that calculates HP, crit chance, toughness, etc.

Is there any program that totals your character’s stats based on the gear you select? I’ve googled for something like this and have only found a character builder. I’m looking specifically for a program that totals you stats based on the items you choose.

Thank you Auesis. I usually just try and stealth to finished downed people, but when it’s unavailable it might be nice to blind them to prevent their defensive abilities while downed.

Does this work on players in downed state as well?

Which is why 90% of WvW thieves including myself just spam it over and over.
