A lack of weapon swapping wouldn’t be an issue if our conjured weapons were useful.
I am for some reason seeing Chinese text on items and under npcs names. The majority of the text is still in English. There is just an odd line of Chinese text at the bottom of an item…
No decent mesmer relies upon clones to survive. If they do the first enemy they face who has the brains to use ctrl t will smash them.
If your having trouble finding the real mesmer its a personal problem.
The problem is that one person usually gets stuck guarding the ruins, and that player will get almost no points since nobody will show up to take the ruins if its guarded.
But if you leave the ruins they will take it and its a huge pain to get it back unless they just abandon it. So it really boils down to is one of your teammates going to sacrifice their ability to earn points so that the rest of the team can get a win.
They either need to make you feel like less of a martyr when your guarding ruins by getting rid of sharks, so the place isn’t any more of a nightmare to take than normal nodes, or giving you points for guarding.
According to that final score panel are you saying people are making necromancers so that they can farm easy points?
Also its amusing that despite all the cries people have of “not being able to play with their friends” that final score card is another clear example of people doing just that. lol
So basically elementalist need a version of Hundred Blades or Heartstrike so they can spam buttons 1 and 2 for 90% of pve content?
GW2 wasn’t really intended as a “grind for loot” game. So yeah your not the only one and yeah its intentional.
If you ask this on any class forum arn’t you going to get a bunch of 3s regardless of how well the class is performing?
Pvp cries against mesmer pretty much all stem from “waa I got moaed”
But alot of people are just worried about pve at this point. And being able to just hundred blades everything to death every 8 seconds makes warrior super easy to lvl up.
I want to play push the cart in spvp… But really some more modes will come soon I hope. I love spvp but the maps get a little old after a while.
I find this thread amusing because I usually played mesmer but I decided to make a necro for spvp last night. Now having just starting playing necro I was basically just going into matches and hitting buttons. I went with a well focused build since I figured with so much fighting around the point nodes being able to spam a couple of wells would tip the fights in my teams favor.
Most classes were pretty rough to fight, but of all the classes warrior was without a doubt the easiest to kill. I mean they all do the SAME thing BULL RUSH, HUNDRED BLADES! I just went lol dodged an spammed my auto attack until they died.
From what I understand it has health and its attackable. So you just spam the 1 key and it goes away rather quickly.
But if you don’t attack it your root forever and ever.
Autobalance adds an extra kick in the pants to the point system. You can spend all your time capping points and making sure your team has all the nodes to win. Only to get auto balanced and find yourself losing out on the win bonus and the points you would have gotten if you had just zerged with your old team.
Warden is pretty fun in WvW, throw him up on the walls and follow him up with a berzerker. Your enemies will be too busy looking down to realize whats going on until its too late!
I think its intended to be supplemental. If it did so much damage your target couldn’t attack without fear of insta killing himself he would just be a punching bag until Confusion wore off. That or simply kill himself by using skills =/
Also combos are a great way to get tons of stacks of Confusion on someone in group pvp. You might be able to stack it high enough so it was pretty threatening then along with doing alot of damage to your target.
GW1 pvp was fun. But the reliance on party healers made it alot less fun to play with random people.
If the monk you got was terrible your team auto lost.
But I only played the original, I didn’t stick around for the expansions.
The problem with crying about moa is if your going to talk about serious spvp, Time Warp is a much stronger Elite skill for Mesmer. Nobody is going to use a 10 second daze on one guy when they could have 10 seconds of haste for several members of their team.
Also a 4 minute cooldown on a move that can be blocked, dodged, LoSed, interrupted ect makes it feel pretty balanced.
At lvl 60ish I’m getting almost half a level of exp and 20+ silver for each run of CM. It’s so appealing that its almost the only thing people seem to want to do anymore. I’m all for rewarding players for doing these difficult dungeons. And the repair bills for failing at these dungeons can be quite high so the money doesn’t seem TOO out of line.
But running CM seems like the only thing people want to do anymore =/
I doubt it, some servers are having trouble getting enough people inside WvWvW and just get stomped as a result.
I mean on Anvil Rock most of the maps have a Q time of zero. You might have one or two with an actual Q time of like 5-10 minutes.
Expanding the capacity of WvW would just make matches even more one sided and boring.
