I absolutely love this legendary it is one of my favorites and always has but the one complaint i have about it is the footsteps there way to faint and sometimes cant even notice them…. just making the texture for the foot steps more of a dense fog effect would make it look nice and more noticeable. I’m sure this is something that was already suggested a million times but its a turnoff for a lot of people :<

ah ok that make sense now so if i do anything above my personal reward level it scales down to what my personal is…. so i can still do a 19 and get my daily chest from that then correct?

So i’m curious in learning solo arah for my warrior any guides out their as far as armor/runes/build/food used etc… any tips and tricks for solo would be greatly appreciated or even someone willing to teach or duoing partner would be cool

Today i went and did a lvl 37 fractal and went down to lvl 29 for the other daily chest and did not receive my daily for the 29 after i did the 37, is this a known issue? just wondering if anyone has had the same experience

EVERY time i hit leave party i crash its happened about 6 times today in various locations not just in one spot….

yeah im considering just getting sigils for hotw and for CM and calling it a day i have a greatsword with undead slaying since i run arah so much :P

What do you guys use for day time dungeons, currently using frailty but i find that half the time my groups are usually caping on vuln

I have an issue with ALL chat not just my guild chat…. Whenever i switch tabs in my chat box it dissapears what was there, so for instance if im talking to someone in party chat and i switch to my guild tab i wont see anything previously typed it will almost auto erase what was there… wondering if anyone else is having the same issue and yes i did the offline online thing

The basic D/F build for PvE is 6/6/x/x/x. You need 6 in Fire for persisting flames. That give you longer fire field and when you blast you give fury. That trait is important as it allow you to do more dmg, blast more might and have perma fury. If you are solo, this trait can boost your dmg by about 30% by itself. 6 in air is even more important. Your main source of dmg will be Lightning Whip in air, but all of your blast and fire field are in Fire, Water and Earth. Your main goal is to stay in air and switch to other attunement only to cast 1 or 2 skills. With fresh air, your Air attunement will almost instant recharge if you have a good amount of critical chance, allowing you to waste to time in Fire, Water or Earth after you use the good skills they can offer and get back into Air as soon as possible.

The 2 last points is what you can change without limiting your build. You can put those pts in Earth, Water or Arcana.

- Earth will give you access to stone Splinter for more dmg.
- Water isn’t a great option there because you shouldn’t stay in water too much with that weapons set, so the regen won’t stay on very long.
- Arcane is the best defensive option here. It give you access to Renewing Stamina. On a high crit chance build, that’s perma vigor, which will increase significantly your survivability.

This info helped me quite a bit i put 2 into the arcane and with renewing stamina it helped me TREMENDOUSLY. Also getting myself used to the range on lightning whip helped a lot. I’ve been finding a comfortable distance in stack spots in dungeons with that small distance on skills man does it make a difference

Fair enough. If you’re having trouble with surviving try adding 1-3 points into water. The healing can be a great help.

Try using the ether renewal heal skill. If you frequently find this getting interrupted try covering it with armor of earth or your earth invulnerable skill or switch to heal signet.

You may also want to add 2 points into air for Zephyr’s focus for some additional endurance for more dodging.

Fight things that are lower level than you. I know they rebalanced mobs for the new trait system, but playing a character under level 80 just feels like you’re made of glass and walking around with pool noodles for weapons.

Make sure you’re keeping up on gear. Equip drops that are closest to your level. Falling behind on gear will see you falling behind on survival and dps.

Learn when to use your invulnerable and reflect skills in earth as well as your projectile block in air.

If you’re not already stacking might, you really need to do this.

So i’m leveling my ele and it seems like D/F is what i’m having the most fun with at the moment any recommendations as far as surviving? That’s one small thing that i can see being an issue for a starting elementalist

Hello i’m looking to join a Dragonbrand PvX guild, im currently in one but they dont have the same intrests as me(for the most part) I like to dungeon tour almost every day know every dungeon really good, also starting to get more into fractals(not so experienced here but want to learn) and looking for an experienced group to run with(don’t mind showing new people to the game dungeons either) it would just be nice to actually run with my guild mates instead of having to pug all the time I’m on usually on during the daylight hours EST

Other then that i run just about anything but primarily a PvE player!

I also come with long walks on the beach and poems <3

This will be my fourth 80 and i dont wanna do it the old fashion way gets old after awhile :P currently level 26, was gonna do jewler, chef and artificer…. how many levels will this net me roughly doing 0-400

On one of the final parts of building my legendary and i need lotsa obsidian shards… fastest way to farm them? I’ve been doing a lot of EoTM and then going to the karma vendor to get the obi shards…. any other ways?

Really hope to see this fixed at some point even if we have to wait until HoT..

I absolutely love my asura, and i’m sure this has been posted but i didn’t find it anywhere.
But i also love my Sunrise and when it is sheathed on her back it clips through the ground. Kind of annoying

Just want to go ahead and make sure before i make a purchase on this. I’m going to get a 20 slot exotic eq box, my question is will my ascended weapons fill into this box to before any other box? Also for the uncommon eq box if i were to pick up a blue item it would go into one of those boxes if they are the only ones that i have other then the exotic ones?

for farming ori ore or ancient wood is there a site that would perhaps show where the nodes are on your server… i found gw2nodes but it doesnt seem to show the ore in some if not most areas

as far as the the cultural issue it would have to be lvl 80 for you to race change. and for the armor that should be something that shouldnt be visable after you race change so say i have human cultural armor on and switch to sylvari. My armor would go to the factory state as far as the skins.

I’m sure this is something has been brought up before, but i would love to change my thief from human to Sylvari!

800gems in the store relog pick the toon you want to change and go through the customizing process again.

So i’m able to get my ascended amulet tomorrow with my 30 laurels i’m unsure of which neck to get (defensive/utility/ offensive)… i know you can just put agony infusions in them just wondering…
