i invited the [drgn] recruiter to my bank guild the week he started spamming us and he said it was pretty sad that i wasn’t even representing my own guild when i said i wasn’t interested in transferring anywhere. so hurtful ):

judging by my experience fighting them they are just an extremely “welcoming” guild full of lowbies. i for one would have been hugely disappointed if i had transferred for them. every server has equally welcoming guilds, but most don’t bother to cross server recruit… and definitely not in the wvw maps… and especially not while the guild you are recruiting for is also in the wvw map but on the opposite faction… go away

i’ve enjoyed rejecting [drgn] from capping our towers and garrison in FA BL this week almost as much as i enjoyed rejecting their recruitment spam last week

Yeah they are all numbers game and attitudes of do it our way or the highway. We didn’t want to do it their way so they tried to poach as many before hitting the highway.

It’s all good we only lost a couple of decent people and even less decent players. Noticed by the fact EBay is still coming last even though 100’s of w3 dedicated have xferd there in the past 1 month.

When your recruitment strategy is to send “representatives” to other servers and spam WvW map chat trying to poach players/guilds from those servers, you can’t really complain about what HIRE did on IOJ.

I see your point, but there are a few key differences
1) Hire recruited ppl on IoJ to fight for IoJ then took them to a different server
2) that is only one guy recruiting individual players that dont mind or in fact want to leave the current server they are on
3) that is not IoJ’s strategy, that happens to be only part of Drgn’s strategy

he’s recruiting small/medium guilds for IoJ to be absorbed into Drgn….

When I spoke to him and he told me it was for IoJ I told him I didn’t think that was cool and wouldn’t be willing to transfer my guild to another server. He tried to insult me by looking at my roster and noting people weren’t representing and saying that was “sad.”

To be spamming our WvW maps with recruitment messages at all hours of the day the week before our servers face off is a pretty scummy. Recruit on the forums, not our wvw team chat.

How on earth did anything in the patch notes impact jumping?

Either GW2’s engine code is horrible spaghetti code beyond belief, or you guys made a change in a patch and didn’t put it in the patch notes.

I’m doing ctrl+F on the update notes in the News and Announcements forums and not finding the word “jump”. Didn’t find it reading the post either. Where are you seeing this?

my guildies all calling me a noob because i can’t complete jump puzzles all of the sudden

same problem here! i’ve never seen the trading post and im just waiting to spend some money on gems…

I have had the same problem since the bwe’s… no access to the gem store or any of the other tabs. I want to buy some gems or at least get that complimentary baseball cap

“Whenever I press “O” the tab opens but the gem store, currency exchange, and any other tab that I try simply shows the circular loading prompt forever. I know that the trading post has been down, but my friends have been able to access a maintenance screen that I have never seen.

I also had this problem during the BWE’s and stress tests, and I was wondering if perhaps there were some client side settings I needed to change in order for it to work. I have tried fiddling with all my browser settings and turning off my antivirus but without any results.

I’m hoping to be able to purchase additional character slots this weekend and to eventually be able to access the trading post with everyone else."
