Well just think of it this way, sure you may have trouble soloing, but in group DE’s you’re also the only ones who get loot off mobs.

Do anything that you would do as a single player, beside Personal Story. Considering, there really is no benefit to grouping as any person can tag a Mob and get credit, Xp, Loot. So basically run from event to event to event to event.

80 because the meat of this game lies between 1-79 as there is no end game, much like GW1. (Not a complaint)

I have no issue’s making my way through the zone. There is beathing room you just have to know the right paths. Now I am not saying it isn’t a valid complaint, but the area fits. Yes I prefer pretty landscapes vs ones filled with bath salt sniffing, face eatting zombies.

Yeah, I don’t quite think it works like that. If anything and this is giving it probably more then I should it’s X.X% increase. So @60% MF it’s more like a 6% chance to find a rare item, which most likely follows the route of Diablo games. Item drops, then crap is rolled. So basically have a 6% chance to get a magic item each time something drops.
(PS: I am most likely wrong but after doing testing with MF gear vs none, the rate is extremely small, and mostly not worthwhile.)

Although I myself would like to see a “real” end game added to Guild Wars 2, it’s not going to happen. If you did any homework and played GW1, you would know the End Game is about grinding for cosmetics and exploring. GW1 didn’t hold me very long, but was fun to play casually. Hard Core raiders will not be satisfied with GW2. World of Warcraft players will not be happy with GW2.
I wouldn’t want GW2 to have end game like World of Warcraft anyways, it would need challenge, something deep and not shallow. I just don’t see ArenaNet doing it though, and they shouldn’t. GW1 did really well, and GW2 is much better in a lot of ways. End Game even lacking.

Lol @ these mount arguements.
I stand by my statement:
Yes: @ Level 80 (Ground)
No: In ANY PvP Setting and not in towns, encampments, anywhere there are NPC’s were kids can park thier stupid Mounts on the NPC’s and yell Hur Dur.

Yeah, I would change your password. That is a real email from ArenaNet, but what happens is when someone tries to log into your account via a different IP they send you and email which you must confirm to allow that IP to access the game.
PS: Don’t click that link as it will allow them to access your account!

Holy crap! I run two old school ATI 4800’s X-fired and get around 60 fps anywhere. 30 in huge zerg boss fights and on max settings.

I am 100% for Mounts. At level 80.
Edit: 100% Against Mounts in any PvP.

The Holy Trinity wasn’t a challenge either. The only ones who had maybe a slight bit of challenge was the Tank and the Healer (Depending on which MMO we are comparing them too). Most cases like World of Warcraft, Tanking is a Joke, and Healing was hard if the mentally handicapped DD (dps for ya new school gamer’s) wouldn’t stay out of the fire. Now you have the mentally handicapped that still wont stay out of the fire but have no one to keep them alive.
Most groups I have seen consisted of pure DD roles. These are where the biggest complaints are coming from. No structure, no anything. It’s amazing that in a full Guild Run with Classes that Spec Support, Melee that build Tank heavy (I don’t mean Tank as the guy who sits in front and holds the lame AI while the DD smash 2 buttons over and over) and people who know what endurance is and know WHEN to dodge how smoothly things can go. Communication and more then face tanking is needed for these dungeons.
Sure, I will be the first to admit some things need tweaking, but I find it is mostly people that PUG that are having the issues. Which sorry to say I am happy to see a game that punishes pugging. Although I am biased as I refuse to PUG as a good % of the people I have ever met in my 11 years of gaming have been terrible or refuse to listen to direction.
tldr: The Holy Trinity wasn’t challenging except for the healer trying to keep the challenged DD (dps) alive, because they were too stupid not to stand in the <insert damage type here>

Looking forward to Expansions/level gains etc. As far as gear becoming obsolete and such, gear isn’t really hard to get anyways. Not that gear really matter all that much either. In GW1 and partly 2, gear is for looks and minor stat boost.
